Oliver Stone knows nothing of history. Maybe he should have read any of several well documented books about the absolute horror of Stalin´s Soviet Union. In the early 90s, the Soviet archives were made available and scholars were able read and translate them into other languages. The archives show what a monster Stalin was (and Lenin too) and how even Stalin´s most loyal lieutenants were terrorised. Stalin ordered Molotov to murder his lovely and devoted Jewish wife, Polina, just to test his loyalty. That a sobbing Molotov delivered the bullet behind her ear, should dispell any notion that America could have or should have worked with such a sadistic maniac. And too bad Oliver Stone wasn´t old enough to have been on orders to invade the Japanese mainland. Maybe he would think differently about our use of the "A" bomb, whose secrets by the way, Soviet spies had already provided to the Red Tsar. All should read the chilling "Stalin, the Court of the Red Tsar" by Simon Sebag Montefiore.

A few years ago, a friend of my son who was born in russia but grew up here in the USA, told me that the ONLY thing the USA truly contributed to WWII was the guns and ammunition. That the brave russians were the ones that, solely, defeated Germany.
My father was a WWII vet and I could not believe the shaking that overtook me and the anger at the disrepect and falsehoods this young man said about my country. The country that gave him and his russian family such a good life.
In the last ten years I have met a number of people living and working, legally, in this country, but consider themselves part of another country and, according to their own words, are just here for the money. They have no love or loyalty for the USA.

I watched the first show and couldn´t believe how inaccurate the info was being presented. Then I saw it was produced and narrated by O. Stone and new why. I watched a few more shows and sure enough it was mostly anti American propaganda. Why don´t these hollywiedo´s just leave if they hate this country so much.
