Questioning Hillary Clinton’s
concussion, and other outrages

Washington Post, by Melinda Henneberger

Original Article

Head injuries are no joke, but the backlash against those who initially questioned whether Hillary Clinton’s concussion was for real seems like an overreaction, too; you don’t have to be hateful to have wondered if she really had the flu and fell down right before she was supposed to testify about the security situation at our consulate that was really just a house in Benghazi, Libya, where four Americans were killed by terrorists in September. After all, public officials are routinely less than forthcoming about their health,

Paul Tsongas was running for president in 1992, and had previously had a form of cancer.
In 1992, Tsongas´ physician issued a statement that Tsongas was cancer free.
That was a lie. Tsongas was dying. and eventually died.
I don´t believe Hillary´s attending physicians and their glowing prognosis.
If blood cannot get out of the brain at that location of the clot, then blood builds up in the brain, and has to go somewhere. That somewhere is probably into brain tissue.

What´s not to question? Do your job WaPo, and quit pointing your smelly little finger at people asking legitimate questions, especially given the lack of any reliable information from the Clintons and their apologists in the media.

I do appreciate the lectures from those who also think we should read the entire article before posting rather than denying this leftist rag a chance to redeem itself.

The writer is even more outrageous than described by those alleged not to have read the article. Prior to her pointing out: "After all she’s been accused of — and will be again if she runs next time — this is nothing."; Melinda brags: "and I hope the most admired woman in the world in 2012 does run for president again in 2016."

Should it be any wonder that the French felt the need to dispose of the worshipers of the anointed as well?

I have not read the article. But generally speaking, if Hillary is genuinely experiencing serious health issues, then it only makes sense to wait until the facts come out. But the suspicion is that she appears to be ducking the Benghazi issue. And, considering her own history, she has been known to play fast and loose with the facts sometimes. Not trustworthy. If she is well enough to fly down to the Caribbean to party, she is well enough to testify to Congress.

Politicians (even warm, fuzzy ones) have lied historically.

Therefore....Saint Hillary, by keeping with this grand tradition of deception, is in good company and we love her even more for it.

FTA- - - -

We know now that Clinton did not pull a Ferris Bueller to avoid testifying about the attack that killed our ambassador, Chris Stevens, and three other Americans. But if she had, would we really have thought so much less of her for it? She was praised for having sense enough to let Susan Rice take the Sunday shows right after the attack, and I’m not sure there wasn’t a little admiration in those “Benghazi flu” comments from the right.

Via Matt Lewis, here’s Maverick once again demonstrating that “cordial relationship” in politico-speak means “two people who can’t publicly admit to hating each other but obviously do.” And it’s a cheap shot. Cruz’s point yesterday at CPAC was that Dole, McCain, and Romney lost because they weren’t conservative enough. That’s not because they’re gutless — he said specifically that they were “good” and “decent” men — but because they’re not committed, full-throated ideologues, even less so when they’re fighting for purple states in a national election. We can debate whether that’s true but there’s nothing offensive in raising the subject.

Hers, however, is an eloquent silence. The most intrusive and potentially most punitive federal agency has been politicized; the IRS has become an appendage of Barack Obama’s party. Furthermore, congruent with exhortations from some congressional Democrats, it is intensifying its efforts to suffocate groups critical of progressives, by delaying what once was the swift, routine granting of tax-exempt status. One of the most seismic changes in American politics over the last decade has been the emergence of a sharp generational split among the electorate. The Democratic Party owes its success in the last two presidential elections almost entirely to overwhelming support among the very young, which has overcome continued conservatism among older voters. The Pew Research Institute has dominated the field of exploring the ideological cleavages among different generations. And its latest survey shows again how the liberalism of the youngest voting cohort, millennials, remains firm, and likely to continue to recast the electorate. A few charts from the survey
