The reason for the shortage of ammunition is the massive orders placed by Social Security Administration, EPA, and IRS.
Since a federal judge blocked the Left from taxing bullets like cigarettes, they decided to create an artificial shortage by buying up the ammunition market

For the past year we´ve been reading stories of how various governmental groups you normally wouldn´t associate with a police force, are buying millions of rounds of hollow points. Through out the year, we´ve heard of the Social Security Administration, Homeland Security, the EPA, and Department of Education stockpiling ammunition. "Our people need target practice," said one bureaucrat.

Hollow points are used for one thing --- inflicting the biggest wound you can per shot. If you´re going to target shoot, you use cheap round nose bullets whose job it is to punch a hole in a piece of paper.

So, as I´ve been asking myself all year, why does the government need all this ammo? Its either to keep it out of the hands of us dangerous returning veterans (although I returned in 1967) or they´re preparing for a civil war.

But since I´ve not heard any corresponding news of those departments also buying weapons, I´m learning toward the conclusion that the gun grabbers have simply found a new way to control things. Fortunately, many of us saw this coming and started buying ammo last year.

Not me, of course. Oh no, no, no. Guns are dangerous --- Feinstein told me so. And if you can´t believe a dried up old hypocrite like DiFi, you can´t believe anyone in this administration... /s off

I think that one of the few things Obama didn´t vote ´present ´ on had to do with a 500% increase in taxes on ammo as a state senator .

Of course there is a run on ammo. We know and understand the reasons. Bought a bigger safe and as many ammo cans that I could find. Just prepping right? Hoarding all the calibers that can be found is happening all across the U.S.A. a *hand loader* friend of mine scrapped up over 500 lbs of spent brass casings alone recently along with spent lead rounds at a local shooting range. The activity out there has been feverish to say the least. Stay positive Patriots and be prepped!

Noproblems- I was sent by a federal agency to work in downtown New Orlearn´s immediately after Katrina the Doctor I was working with was living in a wealthy neighborhood on the Westbank. Thug looters were rampaging through his neighborhood at night. I had my 9mm and was staying with a group on 20th Special Forces guys and well armed ICE agents in a secure location so I loaned him my 9mm. Later the NRA did a video (on utube) on the Round up of weapons from normal citizens just trying to protect themselves in the aftermath of the storm. So noproblems you may have a problem getting ammo even if you can get a gun.

The problem of street gangs is going to explode even in rural areas of my state gangs are taking over. The Obama Justice Department (FBI) is letting them consolidate. Go ahead wait for the cops to rescue you and your family, their aren´t enough resources and I know.
