| Contrary to media reports, the Newtown killer was not wearing body armor when he gunned down more than two dozen innocent people, including his own mother. Adam Lanza went into the Sandy Hook Elementary School wearing a utility vest, not a bullet proof vest, state police spokesman Lt. J. Paul Vance said Thursday. “It was a fishing type vest, a jacket with a lot of pockets; it was not a bullet-proof vest,” Vance said. It was the kind of vest you can go to Wal-Mart or Cabela’s to buy any day of the week, for fishing.

The media does not repent of its mistakes. The media keeps quiet too on the fact that the killer, according to a close friend of his murdered mother, was a vegan--because he did not want to hurt animals.

The weapon left in the car was a shotgun. The medical examiner was, I believe, the person who said that the victims were shot with the Bushmaster.
The handguns were found near the shooter´s body.

In their rush to piant this guy as a right winger,the media got a lot of things wrong.There´s no scrutiny of the kids past,to give some clue on why he might have gone off and that´s because they want the gun to be the issue,not mental health.
How can you make projections or create a profile for a future possible nut case unless you create a profile of the ones who already did the shootings. We know zip about the Ar. or Col. shooters backgrounds.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise.
