Ignorance of the law is no excuse? C´mon, we have millions of laws, and no one person in this whole country knows the law let alone which precedents that will apply or how the law will be interpreted.

Equality before the law - LPs consider it a quaint concept. But we either insist it be observed or we have already reached full tyranny.

Our laws don´t apply to Democrats, especially black Democrats because of CRT, and left wing elite media types pure and simple. Sad day in America but true.

The government has no business punishing everybody for the sins of the few. But the left never misses a golden opportuinty to transfer America and the Constitution to foreign concepts.

Any kind of broad based gun ban should require a repeal of the 2nd amendment first passed by the House and senate and then sent to the states for repeal.

The left has already conducted a war on free speech by mob attacks on people who speak out of turn against their precious sub groups of voters.Illegal aliens aren´t illegal because there´s no such thing as an illegal person.There´s a new theory of black behavior being blamed on an imaginary disease,not a conscience decision to break the law.

They´re killing religious freedoms with their attacks on Christians and their ability to display their faith in public.The only thing illegal is the state forcing someone to adopt a religious sect they don´t believe in,that doesn´t happen except with the left´s imposition of secularism as a form of religion.They punish thought with hate crimes which to me is unconstitutional and arbitrary.

As usual, I enjoyed every word. Steyn and his wisdom are priceless - probably because they are so rare in modern society. This article points out that sad fact in describing how standards and laws are applied these days.

I don´t recall Steyn mentioning any black people. David Gregory is certainly white.

On the same "Meet the Depressed" program Gregory took issue with the NRA suggestion that armed security guards be deployed in the public schools.

At the same time Gregory failed to tell the country that his children attend a high end private school in D.C., that has eleven security guards on staff, who are also apparently armed policemen.

If David Gregory does not go to prison for an extended period of time, there is no justice in this country. Bill Clinton committed perjury before the entire world and was not punished, but should this "celebrity" escape justice because of his notoriety?

He must be prosecuted! When the feds ban semi-auto rifles and many of the people refuse to surrender them to the fascist government, will the people avoid prosecution? Of course not!

All I was mentioning was that Democrats and the elite leftist media are above the law. CRT is Critical Race Theory is being taught in schools, colleges and churches. The basic summary of CRT is that all laws in this country were written by racist white men and therefore are not applicable to people of color. As a result all the laws in this country need to be rewritten.

Most gun owners laugh at anyone who calls that magazine ´high capacity´.

We know it as ´standard capacity´.

Also, magazines and clips are two different things. A magazine feeds ammunition into the firing chamber. A clip feeds ammunition into magazine. Some magazines are detachable, as is the one displayed in this story. But other magazines are internal and therefore cannot be detached from the weapon. Hence the need for a clip to load the magazine.

It´s important to know the difference.

I agree with the Must Read nominations. I was shocked and upset, however, by Mark´s elucidation of the sad and bizarre examples of Good Samaritans arrested & charged by nitpicking do-gooders and judges with no commonsense.

Perhaps after four years of watching The Won, and those in his regime, trample over and ignore the Constitution… why wouldn’t jurists of his inclinations assume they can do the same?!

In the late 69´s the Air Force was developing the radically new F-111 for combat. A few were sent to Vietnam for penetration missions of North Veitnam to test its new ground hugging radar, which theoretically facilitated high speed runs at 200´ altitude. If they want or need to get someone, there are always charges they can use.

Leftists don´t even see a problem with there being different rules for different people.

Our Laws have reached the point where the legalists don´t even bother reading what their name has been assigned to. When we clean out the professional politicians we can clean out their laws - and start fresh. I can think of Ten Laws that were once considered a good foundation...

#16 - I have two SKS 7.62x39 rifles. One has a a non-detachable magazine holding 13 rounds. One has a detachable magazine that can hold 20 rounds. I use a clip to reload the 13 round rifle. It takes maybe 2 seconds longer than it takes me to detach the spent magazine and load a full one. But I can carry a good many more clips than I can carry magazines. Think David Gregory would understand any of the above?
