Look At All These Guns
People Got for Christmas

Atlantic, by Rebecca Greenfield

That increase in gun sales following the Newtown shooting might have had a little bit to do with Christmas season, as a lot of people are flaunting their new firearms on social media today, a trend first-noticed by The Verge´s T.C. Sottek. As the AR-15 is a popular rifle of choice these days both for consumers and murderers, we decided to take a look at all the brand-new owners of that make of semi-automatic. Some have suggested the increase in sales had to do with fears that gun control will soon take these off the shelves. Or maybe

BTW, lets hear it for the NY newspaper that published the list of the folks that published the names of gun permit holders.

Now which house do you think the burglar is going to break into, the house where he can be shot or the house where he will not be shot?

They provide an inverse weather vain.

If I had to try to defend their ignorant positions I´d be angry too.

I was pleasantly surprised when I asked my wife what she wanted for her birthday, and she replied "a revolver of my own". I guess the idea of never having to feel helpless again (she was robbed at gunpoint in Mexico) has its appeal.

Must have been a fake gun, they have VERY strict gun control in Mexico. Speaking of which, we should treat the Mexican illegals just as pleasantly as they treated our Marine who was just released from Mexican prison on a trumped up gun charge.

People are actually FLAUNTING their new weapons, right in her scandalized self-righteous face! How dare they do it? Just wait and see if they are smiling and insulting her and other anti-gun cranks next Christmas! People like Ms. Greenfield have plans for them and the rest of us.

The underlying message is that citizens will not be able to purchase and receive semi-automatic weapons with a magazine capacity of greater than ten rounds by next Christmas. This is also a run up to outright confiscation of such weapons. It would not be surprising if less than 20 percent of the gun owners would actively resist confiscation.

#8, if only 20% of gun owners resist, they´d wipe out the gun-grabber´s thugs - and all the remaining libtards. Around 30 million hunters in this country - not nearly enough libtard thugs to beat them. And when you throw in all the vets in the population that aren´t hunters, the numbers really go against the libtards. That why they realize they have to win through the lies and trickery of their propaganda because they can´t win through overt violence; though they may finally crack and try it

One thing most new gun owners forget to purchase is a good safe in which to keep their new AR-15, etc.

You can´t carry an AR-15 concealed and if it´s not in a safe when you´re away, the bad guys break in, steal it and now it´s on the street.

Or....there´s a fire. A tornado. A hurricane. You name the disaster. Then your new AR-15 ends up rusted and filled with all matter of debris.

Get a good gun safe. Bolt it to the floor. Keep your guns in the safe when you´re not home. Enjoy them for a lifetime and pass them down to your kids and/or grand kids.

Happy shooting!

On its present course, the Supreme Court will ultimately overrule its 1976 decision in Buckley v. Valeo, the landmark case upholding campaign finance “reform” legislation. It can’t come too soon, because Buckley expressly ignored the First Amendment’s injunction that “Congress shall make no law .?.?. abridging the freedom of speech.” Instead of free speech, we now have regulated speech that has ensnarled elections in a web of bizarre and opaque rules. Last week, in McCutcheon et al. v. Federal Election Commission, the court began edging away from Buckley by striking down one of its limits on free speech. The details

First, John Kerry convenes — against all advice and holding no cards — Geneva negotiations to resolve the Syria conflict and supposedly remove Bashar al-Assad from power. The talks collapse in acrimony and confusion. Kerry’s response? A second Geneva conference that — surprise! — breaks up in acrimony and confusion. Then, even as Russian special forces are taking over Crimea, Kerry goes chasing after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov — first to Paris, then Rome, then London — offering a diplomatic “offramp.” Lavrov shrugs him off.
