Benghazi penalties are bogus
New York Post, by Josh Margolin

The four officials supposedly out of jobs because of their blunders in the run-up to the deadly Benghazi terror attack remain on the State Department payroll — and will all be back to work soon, The Post has learned. The highest-ranking official caught up in the scandal, Assistant Secretary of State Eric Boswell, has not “resigned” from government service, as officials said last week. He is just switching desks. And the other three are simply on administrative leave and are expected back. The four were made out to be sacrificial lambs in the wake of

If they fired these 4 dolts, they would immediately threaten law suits to be regain jobs. Such suits would lead to "discovery" proceedings to gather evidence. Discovery would require sworn testimony & full disclosure. The last thing Obama wants on any of his multiple failures is discovery proceedings since liars can be charged with perjury.

This regime is losing patience with keeping up the whole charade of democracy and governance by consent of the governed.

What they do and how they do it is clearly none of our damnbidness.

Our founding fathers would revile the loss of our precious inheritance of liberty.

And the watering of the tree of liberty would commence.

They just misspelled "resigned" - meant "reassigned". The tip was when they waffled in one piece about how some had "left" and others "were on leave" or some such euphemism. And they were deliberately unspecific about who was doing what. In the first report, Boswell´s was the only name given.

In the Obama administration it´s "Watch my hands."

The Ambassador warned of growing al qaeda presence in Libya. Now it´s been reported that training camps, established by elements loyal to Ayman al Zawahiri provided support for the Benghazi attacks.
1st: what was being reported by the nest of spooks operating out of the Annex.
2nd: At first reports of the assault on our people at the consulate, why didn´t we bomb those suspected camps, at least out of retribution? It´s not like this Administration is against retribution. (Think taxes and regulations on the rich.)

Has the official explanation advanced significantly or is it still in “mistakes were made” mode? Isn’t “mistakes were made” some kind of twisted, perverted, pluperfect subjunctive, actually-says-nothing-meaningful tense or the like? Isn’t it about time we find out who issued the voting present, noncommittal type of order to “Stand Down!”?

The ball’s in your court, Mr. Obama. Or should we say it’s teed up and the fairway awaits?

It´s a very sad time in American history that "we the people" can´t seem to get the truth from anyone in the gov´t or press about Libya. I don´t see the republicans pushing for any truth telling about Libya. The dems I expect to hear nothing from. I wish that Bill O´Reilly would push for the truth with the same effort he made for the soldier imprisoned in Mexico. He was very successful.
