| In May, Richard V. Wilson approached a female neighbor on the street and shot her in the back of the head, a crime that stunned their quiet Katonah neighborhood. What was equally shocking for some was the revelation that the mentally disturbed 77-year-old man had amassed a cache of weapons — including two unregistered handguns and a large amount of ammunition — without any neighbors knowing. “I think that the access to guns in this country is ridiculous, that anybody can get one,” said a neighbor of Wilson’s who requested anonymity because it’s not known whether the gunman,

Comments: The story comes with a map showing homes with guns. Mr. Worley is black and admits to owning a .357 Magnum pistol.

Hilarious.
The comments at the end of the story give out Dwight R. Worley´s home address and what weapon permit he owns. It also gives out the name and addresses of the paper´s staff.
Tat for tat, journalists! (first word was red-flagged, so I changed it. There should be an "i" in it.)

So if you´re looking to acquire a firearm, and don´t want to go through all the hassles required by law, here is a Christmas list for you, of households where you can steal one...

Once again, a genius journalist can´t tell the difference between legal and illegal.
Guns and aliens there´s that legal thing.
Now be a real investigator and print who has the illegal guns and where the illegal aliens are.

If you´d like to contact the imbecile responsible for publishing this information....
....Janet Hasson lives at 3 Gate House Lane, Mamaroneck, NY 10534.
Phone number: (248) 594-2197; you might also try (914) 525-1923, but the area code is just a guess on the assumption that this number is a land line.
She lives in a home which is valued at over 1,000,000. Also, she´s apparently unarmed.
Feel free to contact her.
Picures of both the interior and exterior of her home can be found on Zillow....

I wouldn´t want anyone dropping by to mistakenly be knocking on the wrong door!
Hope this was helpful. I know she wouldn´t mind. She´s really, really into publishing all available public information.

Since we´re naming names (sounds so McCarthy-like), I say we name the names of our elected leaders who have gun permits, especially the ones carrying firearms on them. Then, we move on to the entertainment industy. I love naming names, don´t you?

What? No list of people who illegally own guns? I guess this is yet another in the long list of good reasons not to register them. No information the government possesses will not be abused. Luckily for me, the states I have lived in have no such requirement.

Saw a sign that said "No guns here", with a large arrow pointing to a neighbor´s house. They don´t want guns, so let the criminals know. After all, they want to let them know I have guns. And will use them if necessary.

Thanks #5. Looks like a nice big house. Bet it´s full of valuable stuff. No guns? It would be a real shame if the wrong people stopped by. I wonder how long it takes the police to get there? What do the residents do if the police don´t get the call? At least everybody feels safe because the residents don´t have any guns to defend themselves.
Don´t stop by my house. The popping sounds may hurt your ears.

Where do all these people live who claim that getting guns is easy and anyone can purchase one? I bought my first gun the day after the 2008 election and it took me six trips over several days to do so: 1)pick out the gun, 2)apply for a gun permit, 3)go back 3 days later to pick up the permit, 4)go back to store to actually purchase the gun, 5)take gun receipt to police dept. to get it registered, 6) go back to store to pick up the gun. And, I live in a conservative, conceal and carry state. Anyone who declares that getting guns is easy has never tried to legally purchase one.

I don´t know the specific caliber used by any specific neighbor, except in cases where we´ve compared notes. I know that everyone around here has at least one long gun that can take deer. I know of no shootings of people at all; somehow, all these dangerous weapons have gone uncounted years without murdering anybody. Maybe it has something to do with the people holding them.

#25, the legal citizens in your state should be asking why they have to jump through hoops and take 6 days to posses a gun when the criminals can posses one in a matter of hours. They should insist they be able to get one as fast or faster than the criminals. As a former SCOTUS justice wrote: "A right delayed is a right denied."

Americans intent on ensuring a school massacre like the one in Newtown, Conn., never happens again could learn a lot from Israel, where the long menu of precautions includes armed teachers. The Jewish state, which has long faced threats of terrorist strikes in crowded locations including schools, takes an all-of-the-above approach to safety in the classroom. Fences, metal detectors and armed private guards are part of a strategy overseen by the country’s national police. (Snip) Oren Shemtov, CEO of Israel’s Academy of Security and Investigation, noted that Headline resplit and Snip added by staff.

The leafy, well-heeled New Jersey suburb will station a permanent armed cop in each of its nine schools starting Jan. 2. It’s apparently the first district nationwide bent on packing heat in every schoolhouse since madman Adam Lanza gunned down 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn., on Dec. 14. “We’ve made a collective decision as a town that we need armed security in each of our schools,” Mayor Jonathan Hornik told The Post.

The marathon will not take place in storm-ravaged New York City this Sunday, Mayor Bloomberg announced late Friday. Bloomberg had defended his decision to hold the 26.2-mile race as scheduled on Sunday, although many New Yorkers complained it would be insensitive and divert city resources at a time when many are suffering. Bloomberg earlier in the day said the marathon would "give people something to cheer about in what has been a very dismal week for a lot of people." But after growing criticism, the event was put off. "The marathon has always brought our city together and

The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. And pundits and reporters aren´t the only ones positing the "The Hillary Factor": No less than the House Democratic whip, Steny Hoyer, told BuzzFeed, “I don´t know that anybody would run against Hillary…. If she runs, she clears the field.” It´s an understandable conclusion, given Clinton´s stature in the Democratic Party and her 70 percent

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

Clinton praised her own mother for helping empower her to success and marveled at the opportunities that her own daughter Chelsea has pursued. But Clinton warned that there is still so much to do to promote women´s rights in America. "As I look at all these young women that I am privileged to work with, or know through Chelsea, and its hard to imagine turning the clock on them," Clinton said.

The Obama White House is scrambling to blame Friday’s abysmal March jobs numbers on the sequester’s trimming of the rate of growth in federal budgets that have yet to fully commence. After the Labor Department announced that a mass exodus of 663,000 workers left the U.S. workforce last month and that job creation fell 112,000 jobs short of projections, Obama’s top economic adviser Alan B. Krueger, took to the White House blog to blame the sequester: It is important to bear in mind that the March household and payroll surveys are the first monthly surveys to look

The budget President Barack Obama will submit on April 10 will contain a proposal that would prohibit individuals from accumulating more than $3 million in Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and tax-preferred retirement accounts. According to a White House statement, the Obama administration believes the current rules allow some wealthy individuals "to accumulate many millions of dollars in these accounts, substantially more than is needed to fund reasonable levels of retirement saving." "The budget would limit an individual’s total balance across tax-preferred accounts to an amount sufficient to finance an annuity of not more than $205,000 per
