| Politics 2012: It hasn´t been two months since Barack Obama won re-election, but already we´re finding out things that were kept from us during the campaign. Expect to hear more in the coming months. lElections are clarifying events, we´re told. But sometimes what they clarify is merely the gap between what we were told during the campaign and the reality on the ground. Often, the two don´t match. That´s certainly true with Obama. How often in recent weeks have we learned that what we heard on the campaign trail from the Obama camp, and which were echoed by

The Dems and the Press have been lying to the People for 4 years. The biggest lie is that taxes won´t go up and big government will care for you better than you could. Within a month, people will begin to learn the hard way, when even more lose jobs, everyone pays more taxes, and the free healthcare doesn´t develop.

It wouldn´t have mattered if the man had a history of this kind of behavior, they would have voted for him. He does have that history. It wouldn´t have mattered if he had written books and given speeches that said what he planned to do, they would have voted for him. He did write the books and give the speeches. It wouldn´t have mattered if he had a history, for four years, on the national stage and that the country he led lost:money, lives, futures, its Constitution, they would have voted for him. And he did ALL of the previously mentioned things.....and now has four more years to destroy MY COUNTRY!

I say bull to this article, especially to this line, "So were Americans duped? Sure. They were told to believe one thing only to discover right after the election reality was something else." Everything the writer says was hidden from the masses was there all of the time. They didn´t want to know. Now the writer tells us it´s all come out since the election. Bull. The people who voted for O still aren´t paying attention. To paraphrase Hooper in "Jaws", "They aren´t going to believe there´s a shark out there until comes up and bites them in the arse."

The truth about BO and the complete failure of progressive philosophy is readily available and obvious. The majority of people CHOOSE to believe something else and continue to do so. They live in fantasy land.
Nor is this unprecedented. FDR was elected over and over even though his policies were extending and deepening the depression. People will believe what they want, even in the face of obvious evidence. It took a World War to pull us out of FDR´s idiocy.
What will it take this time? World collapse? Arab terrorists launching a nuclear attack?
This is the risk of democracy, people can "elect" to be morons.

Even with all he stolen votes(2 million more blacks and latinos than in 2008) Obama still got barely over 50% and if read the news it looks like there´s only 10 conservatives left in this country. They´re trying desperately to break the back of small businesses which makes the employer and employees independent of gov´t handouts. Besides if you´re white and go to a social service office, they´ll call the cops on you for being an intruder.
The college crowd loves the free living expense money they get from Obama. I say free because they expect loan forgiveness any time now.
On the other hand you have some high profile blacks saying Obama is too white and he´s shunning the brother´s needs.

Blaming Republicans and branding them the party of the rich is very long standing. Herbert Hoover, and the Republicans, were blamed for the depression forever after. . When I was working at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft during WWII a co worker was amazed to learn that I was a Republican and asked me to confess that it was because I came from a wealthy family.
We hear all the time that Republican leadership does not explain clearly enough, allows itself to be vilified, etc. But think what Republicans are up against. The first thing an immigrant is told when he arrives here is that the Republicans are the party of the rich. They swallow that whole. Not many are smart enough to see they are being misled and most of the ones who do are from countries that had communist governments. No one pays any attention to them.

I have a cousin who recently told me that she feels so sorry for President Obama. That he doesn´t want to, but he has to raise taxes to help pay for the mess that he inherited from President George W. Bush. I replied that it´s been four years and isn´t it time for the President to take some responsibility for our present state of economic disarray? She said that we are not in disarray - that President Obama saved General Motors and that our economy is growing by leaps and bounds and that the President just needs a little more help from the ´richest people´. I asked her if she knew how much General Motors still owed the taxpayers of the United States. She said General Motors is making huge profits, has paid off its entire debt (!!!), and is more profitable than ever. I asked her if she is still getting her disinformation from, ´The View´. She said, of course - those ladies really keep up on things.
Was she ´duped´ into voting for President Obama? Not at all - she still agrees with, and supports, him and the Democrat talking heads 100%. As for me, I´d like to say more, but it´s holy Christmas day.

I heard The Great One, Mark Levin, one day and he made this statement: leftists don´t care about solutions to problems, they only want to control you - so very true - who cares if laws they pass work (and we know most don´t - look at Chicago and the gun laws) just as long as they take away the rights of the law abiding citizens!!

“Low-Information Voter”
How polite! How genteel! How politically correct! How close to me is the nearest air-sickness (barf) bag because I really don’t wanna make a big mess right here on this brand new carpet?
There’s just something fundamentally absurd about allowing people who know nothing about anything to be given the right to vote in an election held in the United States of America. Scooping up busloads of oblivious, totally ignorant people, getting them registered and then carting them off to precincts, after telling them how to vote and who and what to vote for, and then labeling what they’ve done their “ground game” ought to result in a one-way trip to court and prison.
Unfairness? Voter suppression? And dare we forget those who can be depended upon to reflexively make the accusation of racism?
On the old Radio and TV game show, “You Bet Your Life,” host Groucho Marx used to give contestants who won nothing at least a chance to win something by answering the question, “Who was buried in Grant’s Tomb?” They’d say “Grant” and win a consolation prize. However, in truth, one is entombed, not buried, in a tomb. Details! Details! Details!

It is the "dopes" in the GOP that don´t have to guts to dig up the fraud that overcame the well informed. It is the hard working of US that got duped and are going to have to defend our freedoms that are rapidly being stolen by the "dopes."

Its time to send him packing, call your Congressman to vote him out of office on Jan. 3, 2013, because he is not qualified to hold the office of President. It is, as matter of fact, their duty. He is not qualified to be President under Article II, Section 1.
It only requires as simple majority under Amendment 20 of the Constitution. The House of Representatives must determine if he is qualified to hold office. He is not.
He is, by virtue of his father, a British subject, and once a subject, always a subject. That is make clear in Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution. All those dual citizens, born before the Constitution was ratified, were permitted to be President. All born after were, by law, not British subjects if both parents were only American citizens.
Obama does not meet the requirement of being born prior to the ratification of the Constitution, and as a consequence, is not qualified to hold that office.
Educate your Congressman. It only takes a majority to dethrone him.

I don´t think anyone was duped. Obozo simply promised everybody a free ride and lots and lots of free "stuff" and it would all be paid by taxing "the rich". And it was bought by enough people to win re-election. It´s that simply. If you surveyed Obozo voters, you would probably find out that the majority of the don´t know where Lybia, Syria, Israel, or any place know as the middle east is. Give them a map and they couldn´t find any of these places. The only bit of federal policy they know is how to scam the system to get their free stuff. At that, the excel beyond belief.

Read "Master Plan to Steal an Election" at www.brushfires-of-freedom.com/steal-an-election.html That´s what happened. That´s why there is no sense of momentum or support behind anything Obama is doing or wants to do, and in fact there is growing resistance. He didn´t win. He lied, cheated and stole, and he is being aided and abetted by our left-wing media. And everyone senses it.
This will not stand.

#51-----Yes, yes, yes! These voters are still blaming Bush for this mess. Obama is the innocent by-stander. He didn´t do anything except carry on Bush´s failures. The biggest one was TARP!!!! We all know that TARP was the result of Democrat financial failure. That´s why the morons love to blame Bush, because in their little pea brains history started with that Bush blunder. The Dems started it and can´t seem to finish it. We are in for a long dark period in our history if we cannot stop blaming Bush.

Rush said we used to call the low-information voters "morons". But watch your 401Ks. Levin interviewed a professor from the New School, a small college in New Jersey. Her name is Theresa Ghirarducci (sp might be off slightly). She proposes that 401Ks are a bad deal for the US and the Taxes missing frome that total $81 bilion,i.e that tax-payer saves and the govt does not get. Also the boomers and beyond are looking like they will run out of money in their retirement.(Further there is no SS for boomers in a cash acct, just a chit from the feds, my comment) So briefly her propsal is that the govt takes the 401Ks and puts that amt with the chit for the Social Security amount and issues a 4.4% annuity to all retirees. It might extend to IRAs too. Listen to her interview at www.marklevinshow.com This propsal has had Congressional RFI hearings and it is moving forward, I think. Professor says current plan is a bad deal for the USA, better to get the 4.4% the govt determines for you. This could happen over night.

Wait until working Americans receive their first paychecks of 2013, just as the Christmas bills are coming due, right before Obama´s second inauguration. Maybe then it will dawn on Obama voters what they have done to America on November 6. Maybe not. Low information and all.
Speaking of low information, the MSM´s wall-to-wall, glowing coverage of Obama, along with their nasty and relentless attacks on Mitt Romney, likely cost the Republicans 8 - 10% of the vote. The MSM stole this election for Obama.

#70, thank you for the link. I have said this all along. The numbers for the last election simply don´t add up to an Obama victory. And again, all this talk about all the other reasons why Romney lost simply weakens who we are. When democrats lose they don´t rethink their message. They get more determined, more strident and more vicious. And, they continue to win, even when they lose. We don´t need to change our message; we need to change our methods.

Time magazine gave us a hint a few weeks ago what the administration might be thinking about 401Ks and IRAs. There is between 3 and 4 trillion dollars sitting untaxed in both types of accounts. The government could take those accounts from the owners and give an owner, instead, a 3% interest rate return of their funds for life. Upon death the funds would not go into your estate. Since they are already held by the USG they would revert to the US Treasury. Argentina did this with retirement accounts some time ago. With 16 trillion in US debt this would be still only be a drop in the bucket but the fact of these untaxed funds just sitting out there might be too temping for the government to resist.

In 1927, Jozef Stalin summoned the Russian neurologist Bekhterev to give a medical examination of the dictator. Later that day, Bekhterev returned to a medical meeting and told colleagues, "I have just examined a paranoiac with a short, dry hand." Stalin´s left arm was shorter and weaker than the other. The following day, Bekhterev was poisoned and died. He was killed for calling Stalin a "paranoiac." He did not mention Stalin by name, but his medical colleagues knew exactly whom he was talking about. Writing in European Neurology, the historian Juerg

Is the Constitution becoming the left´s new target? That thought struck me the other night over dinner with my liberal friend, a lawyer and part-time professor. Among his choice statements, "Maybe it´s time to get rid of the Constitution and start over." No doubt he was echoing the sentiments of Georgetown law professor, Louis Michael Seidman, who suggested just that in a New York Times op-ed. It´s been several weeks since Seidman made his remarks, and now, it appears, the floodgates are open. Liberals feel they can speak freely about their true intentions for our country.

For the first time in my adult life, I am not proud of the First Lady. Mrs. Obama is frequently compared to Marie Antoinette. She spends hundreds of millions of dollars a year on her own pleasure and aggrandizement while urging the peasants to plant gardens. And for the first time in American history, we have a president who insults us across the world, disavows the idea that American is special, enriches our enemies such as the Muslim Brotherhood, and degrades our achievements ("You didn´t build that."). Metaracism instilled in the Obamas the tragedy of ingratitude.

Obama now reigns over Versailles on the Potomac. And America´s taxpayers are the vassals who bankroll the opulence of King Louis-Barack and Michelle Antoinette." Deroy Murdock (Hoover Institute, Scripts Howard) nails it in his National Review article. King Louis-Barack and his family really know how to share your pain. The lousy March jobs report jolted financial markets Friday, and understandably so. In a trend that has defined this weakest of all modern economic recoveries, the jobless rate keeps falling but largely because the labor force keeps shrinking. The unemployment rate fell to a new four-year low of 7.6%, from 7.7% in February. Good news, except the main reason for the decline was that nearly half a million Americans (496,000) left the civilian labor force. They retired, quit working, went back to school or gave up looking for work. The economy created a net 88,000 new jobs

THE elementary-school shootings in Newtown, Conn., in December produced two polar public reactions: fear among some Americans that the federal government will restrict gun rights, and hope among others that it will actually do so. Colorado, New York State and, most recently, Connecticut have clamped down on guns, while states like Texas, where I live, are considering legislation that would try to block the enforcement of federal gun regulations. The uncertain approach to guns is good for no one, except perhaps for gunmakers, whose sales have skyrocketed. Lost in this confusion and anxiety is the possibility

Politics: Democrats were quick to blame the anemic March jobs number on the "sequester" spending cuts. If that were the case, what explains the previous four years of lousy job growth under Obama? At 88,000, the jobs growth in March was well below expectations. And while the unemployment rate dropped, that was the result of hundreds of thousands dropping out of the labor force who as a result aren´t counted as unemployed. Democrats, of course, tried to pin the blame for this on Republicans for allegedly pushing austerity measures. White House economic adviser Alan Krueger complained
