| WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama on Friday nominated Sen. John Kerry as his next secretary of state, elevating the longtime lawmaker and foreign policy expert to the top diplomatic job he had coveted.“He is not going to need a lot of on-the-job training,” Obama said, standing alongside Kerry at the White House. “Few individuals know as many presidents and prime ministers or grasp our policies as firmly as John Kerry.”

She couldn´t attend a day or so after skipping out on the Benghazi hearings, they had to release the whitewash report first so she can parade around all exonerated from any wrongdoing.
I just heard Stevens sent requests directly to the WH for more security but somehow these demonic and twisted people have wound up blaming the victim himself because he know the dangers of the area.

Newsflash for AP; that´s not the only thing she didn´t do in the last four years. In fact, the accumulation of frequent flier miles is probably her only accomplishment.

As for the PIAPS she couldn´t be bothered. She´s busy trying keep her linen clean from the Benghazi fiasco.

A feeble attempt to forget for a moment the grim news from last week:
Song Parody
Kerry under fire at his Senate hearing, cribbing from that great sixties songbird Brenda Lee and her smash hit, ´´I’m Sorry.´´
I’m Kerry, a cherry For being such a tool and siding with Ho; It just seemed so cool Now uh-oh, uh-oh.
You know that I lied ‘Cause I thought we were wrong, But now I can say ´´To Hell with the Cong.´´
I’m sKerry, so sKerry, Please accept my botoxicology Vast fissures, deep-lined left scores on my mind; I’d a face like a hind, I begged, ´´God strike me blind,´´ Then lashed out at my kind.
I’m rueful, so rueful, Please forgive my disloyalty. How could I know I’d be up for State? Have the chance to make headway With the tree-huggers’ slate? (I´m sKerry)

#6 has a great point about the time to "sanitize" the records.
I don´t say anything about Kerry´s wife because George Washington also married his money (most of it). However, Washington was a man of character. He managed his wife´s estate and was a father to her children. Through both their efforts, the Washington´s financed the American revolution. TeRAYsah, on the other hand, funds the destruction of everything that George and Martha worked and fought for by her massive support of the Tides Foundation which funnels money to left-wing organizations set on the destruction of the American system and of capitalism.
Kerry should have been tried as a traitor when he was in his twenties. For presidents and military commanders to overlook and "forgive" such acts (as Jimmah Carter did in his self-righteous foolishness) is to allow such butt-boils to fester and grow until someday they become secretary of state (or President).

FTA: “John’s entire life has prepared him for this role” said Obama, who praised Kerry for his belief that the country must harness “all elements of Americans power.”
This statement sums up Kerry´s qualifications. All who work for Obama must understand that HE is the power; the United States, not so much. Kerry will carry that message with pride. Before Obama and his crew of anti-Americans are through, we will be so weakened on the world´s stage that we will have little influence and that is just the way the progressives planned it.

Would anyone really want to see John Murtha as Secretary of State? (yes I know he is now a good democRat). How about Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore or Bill Maher? Well Monsieur Kerry is in the same not-so-swift boat as these morons if you will recall his famous statement: "You know education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. And if you don´t, you get stuck in Iraq." Yup. Only a statement like this could come from the phoniest guy in recent history who picked a fight with a rice bunker and wound up getting Forrest Gumped in the @ss! Kerry as Secretary of State: Because the world just isn´t laughing at us enough already!

So let me get this straight - we got Obie to "lead" us through the fiscal cliff and if something happens to him, Bite Me takes over the teleprompter. Lurch takes over for the Piaps. The Piaps lays low for a while to wash her Benghazi laundry and get ready for 2016. Holdie keeps Fast and Furious (Mexico and Benghazi) out of sight. Terrazzo married a genuine Republican Senator John Heinz. She is the one who married money and then defiles her husbands memory by using HIS moneymtomfund Tides and every left leaning anti-American cause that her treasonous Gigalo personifies. He is the best traitor money can buy. Query: do John Heinz´s children realize that their mother defiles his memory every day with her marriage and her support of leftist causes? Didn´t Kerry go from sleeping on friends couches to many mansions rather quickly after Sen, Heinz´s suspicious accident? Opportunistic fraud.

He was a contractor employee, but he obviously was granted top secret clearance," Cheney said on "Fox News Sunday."

The bombshell stories in both publications carried the by-lines of experienced reporters. The Guardian’s Glenn Greenwald, a well-known political commentator who also holds a law degree, has been covering national security issues for nearly a decade, and the Post’s Barton Gellman is a Pulitzer Prize winner who has a distinguished record covering privacy and security issues.

Thursday the White House announced that the American intelligence community assesses, with a level of high confidence, that the regime of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad used chemical weapons against the opposition multiple times, in a limited fashion. Now that it is clear Assad has crossed the Obama red line by using chemical weapons, the question is, has this changed the president’s “calculus,” as he said it might? The media is reporting that it has. According to the press, Obama has decided to arm the opposition.

WASHINGTON — In the months and early years after 9/11, FBI agents began showing up at Microsoft Corp. more frequently than before, armed with court orders demanding information on customers.Around the world, government spies and eavesdroppers were tracking the email and Internet addresses used by suspected terrorists. Often, those trails led to the world´s largest software company and, at the time, largest email provider. The agents wanted email archives, account information, practically everything, and quickly. Engineers compiled the data, sometimes by hand, and delivered it to the government.

Hell hath no fury like the Washington establishment scorned. Since Edward Snowden came forward to identify himself as the leaker of the National Security Agency spying programs, the D.C. mandarins have been working overtime to discredit the man many view as a hero for revealing crucial information the government had wrongfully kept secret. Apparently, if you think hiding information about spying on Americans is bad, you are misguided.

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Gang of Eight member Bob Menendez advised Republicans to accept legalization status for current illegal immigrants if they ever want to see another president from their party. “I would tell my Republican colleagues — both in the House and the Senate — that the road to the White House comes through a road with a pathway to legalization,” the New Jersey senator said on State of the Union this morning. “Without it, there’ll never be a road to the White House for the Republican party.” Menendez also warned of triggers on border security

Politico’s Playbook has an excerpt from a new Ryan Lizza piece from the New Yorker that is not yet online. It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:

While our corrupt media has done its best to turn the page on Barack Obama´s myriad of scandals, the deep-dive numbers in a new Fox News poll are absolutely devastating for the president. These numbers also reflect what we are seeing in other polls and Obama´s overall approval ratings -- though the media are willfully ignoring reporting on both. In a Fox News column (Snip) Chris Stirewalt extrapolated these brutal numbers: -- 56 percent of voters believe Obama did not try to rescue the doomed garrison in Benghazi, Libya because he didn’t want to risk his re-election.

Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels. President Barack Obama made the pledge earlier this week after the U.S. claimed it found ´conclusive evidence´ Assad´s regime has used chemical weapons against the rebel forces--which includes the most extreme Sunni Islamists--and has called for Britain and France to back the move. While Britain hasn´t made a guarantee either way as yet, more than 350 Royal Marines are being sent to Jordan

Among all the unanswered questions about the IRS’s illegal targeting of conservative organizations, one is most crucial: Who ordered this extreme scrutiny? Amazingly, IRS inspector general J. Russell George, responsible for the investigation asking those questions about the IRS, has testified that he did not obtain that information. Details of that testimony are interesting. Representative Tom Graves (R., Ga.) asked, “Have you asked the individuals who ordered them to use this extra scrutiny to punish, or penalize, or postpone, or deny?” George turns around to confer with his assistant. Just the fact that the inspector general

Is Marco Rubio, R-Fla., getting played by Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.? During his interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl this morning, Rubio didn’t even seem to understand what that meant. “Are you being played by the Democrats?” asked Karl. “Is Chuck Schumer playing you?” “I don’t — I quite frankly, I don’t even know what that means,” Rubio replied. “Is he using you?” Karl continued. “Is he using you to try to accomplish something that the Democrats want and is not — not a conservative bill?” Rubio responded that immigration reform was a bi-partisan issue that “all Americans
