| When Barack Obama nominated John Kerry to be America’s next Secretary of State Friday afternoon, he called Kerry the “perfect choice” to replace Hillary Clinton. Stating that “few individuals … grasp our foreign policies as firmly as John Kerry,” Obama said the Senator will not “need a lot of on-the-job training.” He then praised Mr. Kerry’s combat service in the Vietnam War and his subsequent tenure of service in the Senate, where Kerry has been intimately involved in “every major foreign policy debate for the past 30 years.” Notably, President Obama made no mention of what occurred after Kerry’s

He chose someone who hates America as much as he himself does.
He found someone with the same level of disdain for our military as well.

Obama, Kerry, Hillary, Bill Clinton and their ilk are simply sincere and reasonable sounding versions of Al Shapton and the Jackson´s, the Revered and his former Congressman son. Like Sharpton and the Jacksons, they are always depicted as caring, committed individuals who sacrifice their own careers to help the less fortunate. But as their policies create ever more less fortunate people, they grow wealthier beyond their wildest dreams. And like the Reverends and the son, they are held in the highest esteem by our news & information media. Obama, Kerry and the Clintons are all full of manure, but we are constantly assured that it has the sweetest smell.

FTA:"He then praised Mr. Kerry’s combat service in the Vietnam War and his subsequent tenure of service in the Senate, where Kerry has been intimately involved in “every major foreign policy debate for the past 30 years.” To radicals such as Obama, ´intimately involved´ means working diligently to weaken our security. In the past, we´ve been able to reverse the damage by rejecting these menacing jerks every few years at the ballot box. The potential damage we face from our current enemies is on a faster track and we are left hoping that we still have the luxury of time to repair the mess Hillary and her pet boy Barry have made.

Obama sure can pick communist-friendly people, can´t he?
Forty-thousand dead bodies later, one tries vainly to reconcile John Kerry’s track record with President Obama’s glowing description of him as the “perfect choice” for Secretary of State.
Kerry IS the "perfect choice", if one´s aim is to further pepper this Administration with Communists in the pursuit of destroying America as founded.

John Effin Kerry, aka Horse Face: Obama’s “Perfect Choice” For Suckretary of Hate.
Well that depends on what 0bama´s objective is. If 0bama wants to further deflate America´s power and international standing, then Horse Face is the right choice.
John Bolton would be the real perfect choice.

Words that truly express my contempt would get me barred from ever posting on Lucianne.com again.
My school-teacher father, used to say that "Swearing is a sign of a weak mind trying to forcefully express itself." I used to laugh when I heard him swear, but I had too much respect for him to throw the quote back at him. I understood where he was coming from.
Sometimes swear words really do convey, in no uncertain terms, how one feels. Right now I feel that Kerry is a $*@&!#& Traitor, and should be behind bars - not a U.S. Senator or SOS.
Thanks Massachusetts, you have lost your moral compass - John Hancock, John Adams, and Samuel Adams are probably turning over in their graves.

"Adroit" in this sense means clever, the ability to use words to obfuscate, to circumvent the truth.
As for Kerry, Perazzo is the perfect one to write a complete rundown on him for those who missed it in real life. It was Perazzo who wrote the excellent piece on where Obama and the Democrats intended to take us in 2008, a piece posted here that got little notice although it described Obama´s following Alinsky´s methodology to a T.
Here is how Perazzo starts on Kerry:
The historical record informs us that not only has John Kerry been on the wrong side of every major foreign policy issue for most of his adult life, including Iraq, Nicaragua and most recently in Syria, but he has routinely engaged in deception to conceal his folly. What’s worse, Kerry has a clear record of giving aid and comfort to America’s enemies, all the while never missing an opportunity to viciously trash our brave forces fighting against them.
With Obama’s nomination of Kerry to head the State Department, therefore, a look back at Kerry’s “service” to this country becomes more pertinent than ever:
Read on. Perazzo is always worth a read.

He is extremely lucky to be from that liberal cesspit, Massachusetts. He would not have been so well treated in most other states. In Texas, I believed we would have hung him.

EASTLEIGH, ENGLAND — For the United Kingdom Independence Party, defeat has never looked this much like victory. In that speech of his, 30 years ago, Reagan said, I know this is a formidable technical task, one that may not be accomplished before the end of this century. Yet current technology has attained a level of sophistication where it’s reasonable for us to begin this effort. It will take years, probably decades, of effort on many fronts. There will be failures and setbacks, just as there will be successes and breakthroughs. Yes — failures and setbacks, and successes and breakthroughs. The economist Thomas Sowell has just released a new book entitled Intellectuals and Race. (Snip) AmSpec: In the book you have a definition of “multiculturalism.” Can you talk about that and its implications? Sowell: The central premise of multiculturalism is that no culture is superior to another. The proponents of this draw conclusions such as it is wrong for school teachers to insist that black kids from the ghetto speak standard English. The idea that no culture is superior is another fact-free premise. If you look at the actual history of any society, they borrow from other societies.

The economist Thomas Sowell has just released a new book entitled Intellectuals and Race. The American Spectator sat down with him recently for a lengthy interview. In this first part of the interview, we discuss some of the causes of differences between ethnic groups, and how intellectuals in the early 20th century viewed race versus intellectuals today. (Snip) AmSpec: One of the things that comes across in the book is that it’s possible different racial groups will have different outcomes but those differences may be in no way related to genetics. So, what are the causes of difference?

A coalition of Eagle Scouts, Scoutmasters, and parents have launched a new organization vowing to keep sex and politics out of the Boy Scouts of America. “The Boy Scouts are one of the great jewels of American culture,” said John Stemberger, an Eagle Scout and the founder of OnMyHonor.net. Representatives from more than a dozen states gathered in Florida to announce the opposition to any attempt to allow open homosexuality in the BSA. The BSA is expected to offer a proposal that would remove the national rule banning open homosexuality -- and replacing it with a local option.

It’s the easiest thing in the world to be a pessimist, and the least American. We’re optimists, and as tough as things are, as many skirmishes as we’ve lost, we haven’t lost this country to the left quite yet. If you had to choose between being them or us, you’d be crazy to choose being them. We’re going to win, and America is going to rise again. Pessimism is a cop-out, an excuse to do nothing and wait for the end instead of figuratively fixing bayonets and charging head-long into the enemy.

Desmond Tutu has been busy lately. Two weeks ago he wrote an editorial calling for the abolition of nuclear weapons. A week later he joined an international anti-tobacco campaign. Last month he condemned American drones for killing Muslim terrorists. Last summer he denounced a military-themed NBC Reality Show. A grinning and giggling social butterfly, Tutu is always going somewhere and expressing his opinion on something. One minute he’s in Myanmar and the next minute he’s weighing in on Bradley Manning. Wait a little longer and there will be a Tutu column, video or letter on climate change, the death penalty

US President Barack Obama was on the line when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to apologize for the deaths of nine Turkish protesters aboard the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara on May 31, 2010. For those who don’t remember, the Mavi Marmara was a Turkish ship that set sail in a bid to break Israel’s lawful maritime blockade of Hamas-controlled Gaza’s coastline. When Israeli naval commandos boarded the ship to interdict it, passengers on deck attacked them – in breach of international maritime law.

I have watched over the years how publicly unaccountable foundations have amassed billions of dollars, tax free, and spend it on dangerous, leftwing, often anti-American and anti-Israeli outfits, conferences and promoters. Taxpaying citizens opposed to abortion without restrictions, open borders, balkanization of the country, erosion of their constitutional rights, dumbed down education of their children and environmental extremism are fighting opposition very generously funded by these groups. The irony of this development is that capitalists -- like Ford, Rockefeller, Carnegie, Pew -- who owed their fortunes to American free market policies, started most of these foundations.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
