Does President Obama
know what he wants?

The Week, by Joel Golinkin

Original Article

T he fiscal cliff. The jobless recovery. Comprehensive immigration reform. Climate change. Implementing ObamaCare. Cutting healthcare spending. Rebuilding our infrastructure. Addressing student debt. Fixing the tax code. Gun control. There is no shortage of domestic issues that this president might address.(Snip) And yet, the nature of President Obama´s campaign, coupled with a few odd choices relating to the selection of the president´s second-term cabinet, raise questions relating to whether Obama has thought carefully about what he truly cares about, or whether he is instead playing a very complicated game of whack-a-mole, reacting to events as they pop up.

This guy needs a telescope to see what´s right under his nose.Obama wants a government knows best, ruling class oligarchy where friends get to live in luxury while everybody else scrapes out a meager living or lives on the dole. When you can hang housing, food, healthcare and banking over people´s heads you have full control.

Heartily agree with all above, specifically #7´s conclusion. Obama is not - repeat NOT - just yer ordinary reglar Demcrat. It is frustrating beyond belief to hear those supposedly on our side, and worse - the other side - exclaim surprise or confusion about his actions, as if they´re just now noticing!

John McCain: late 2008 - ´You have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency.´ Spoken to his own audience at a campaign rally!

WE KNEW. We knew these things would happen and we knew it long before John McLame made his idiotic statement. And for the super-smarts of our nation to WONDER, now? Aaarrrggghh!! It´s so frustrating - all this was so preventable! But we were called names.

Obama has no new ideas, no philosophy or character of his own. He follows the teachings of his communist parents, Frank Marshall Davis and Valerie Jarret, which happen to match the long-time democrat playbook very closely. He carefully chooses as his officials people who are less capable and more radical than he, which should be hard to find in this country but the democrat party seems to have a never-ending supply.

When we start cleaning house, we need to make it a clean sweep, not just his ugly mug.

It seems like his overall goal has been to turn the country upside down and shake:

Ram healthcare through as his very first agenda? No problemo. Kiss the donkey of the Russians? A cinch. Walk all over Israel and install Muslim Brotherhood, in the Middle East? Got it. Nominate the very person/Sec of State who was just barbequed for lying on talk show circuits? You bet. "That´ll show the pubs just how absurd I can think outside the box". He was just too stuck on the "reward your friends" mantra and it blew up in his face.

It has been written time and time again the ACA will destroy small businesses and wreck employment opportunities and he is all "full steam ahead". His top down, bottom up approach to crushing the US citizenry is exemplified by his tax the rich, while he discontinues tax breaks for giving to charities.

Perhaps those scars on the back of his head will one day explain his bizarre behaviour.

The president and his anointed ones live like Louis XIV and the rest of the people scrape by on next to nothing while slaving away to support the decadence in the capital. Zippy wants nothing less.

FTA: trying to navigate from event to event without any comprehensive vision is apt to create an incoherent jumble of policy decisions that result in no real legacy and, more importantly, no real progress in any one direction.

Obozo has never had a vision for America. First term, second term, or any term. All he wants is to BE the president, not work or act like a president. He loves all the perks and living like a king but doesn´t want any of the work and responsibility that goes with the job.

And he doesn´t play whack-a-mole with his decisions. He simply wants what is his idea of the day. And being a complete narcissist, he want it NOW. And he simply wallows in the adoration that so many people show to him. It´s really disgusting to someone like me. The only God I worship doesn´t live in the WH.

A gilt-edged, certifiable imposter! I knew darn well that’s what he was from the first day he swaggered upon the national scene. Concealing his murky, mysterious past, no matter how expensive it was to do so, was his first and foremost priority. Anyone who goes to such extreme lengths to hide one’s background is up to no good. It doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. But, tell that to those who voted for him even the second time, much less the first, and prepare to be greeted with nothing but blank stares and accompanying comment: “Duh!”

I’m not that bright. But, even I can perceive an empty suit when I see one, along with a complicit media keeping a safe distance from anything resembling reality. The mainstream media? They can’t handle the truth!

Their target is the GOP, but they are not angry liberals bent on destroying it. They are reform-minded Republican leaders intent on strengthening it. These Republicans are applying conservative principles to 21st-century challenges, focused on middle-class concerns like lowering costs and improving access to college, modernizing health care and reforming the tax code. They aim to broaden prosperity´s reach through markets and merit, not government and corporate cronyism. They´re also concentrating on helping the poor by changing Washington´s dizzying assortment of antipoverty programs to emphasize work and make the safety net more effective and sustainable. On a playground or in a bar, the most important thing to know about a bully is his motivation. What ticks him off? Who´s his next victim? If it´s you, how do you avoid a butt-kicking? On the world stage, Vladimir Putin is a bully—and President Obama not only seems clueless about the Russian leader´s inner drive, he embraces his ambivalence. According to Horowitz (of Romney-was-a-prep-school-bully fame), President Obama began his professional career working in numerous Catholic parishes throughout Chicago´s South Side. He worked intimately with priests, bishops, and other Catholic leaders to serve the poor and needy. And despite not letting Catholic doctrine "tempt him," he nonetheless "effectively proselytized for the church." Moreover, the young Obama fit seamlessly into a

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) said the fault of struggling to sign up on the Obamacare exchanges didn’t lie with the faulty website, but with the people who weren’t “educated on how to use the Internet.” Explaining the reasoning behind the latest Obamacare delay, Reid said too many people just didn’t know to use their computer properly and needed more time. Apparently, it had nothing to do with the well-documented failings of the website that have embarrassed the White House for months. “We have hundreds of thousands of people who tried to sign up who didn’t get through,” he said.

The Obama administration is prepared to give prospective Obamacare enrollees another half-month to signup for insurance coverage through the Affordable Care Act website, healthcare.gov, treating the law´s March 31 regulatory deadline as a formality for Americans who claim they tried in earnest to sign up in time. During a March 12 congressional hearing, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told Texas Republican Rep. Kevin Brady that there would be no such extensions. ´Are you going to delay the open enrollment beyond March 31?´ Brady asked. ´No, sir,´ she replied. On the same day, Julie Bataille, a spokeswoman for the

And if the oral arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit are any indication, it’s time for the White House to start sweating over a lawsuit that up until now has flown relatively below the radar. U.S. President Barack Obama and Pope Francis met Thursday for the first time at Vatican City, offering a chance for a reset of sorts between the administration and Catholic leadership following years of strained relations. The two world leaders greeted each other with a smile and a handshake, and posed for pictures before sitting down across a table from each other. The goal of the meeting: Focus on areas where two of the world´s most influential men agree and gently tread ground where they differ. The President and the Pontiff will, as the White House said in a statement, focus on "shared commitment

On her 12 p.m. ET hour MSNBC show on Tuesday, host Andrea Mitchell interrogated attorney Mark Rienzi for representing Hobby Lobby in the Supreme Court case against the ObamaCare contraception mandate: "What right do they have, again, to interfere with medical decisions by women?...I mean, this gets to the whole issue of women´s health and why should women be discriminated against in ways that other medical beneficiaries are not?" [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump] Rienzi pushed back: "No one´s discriminating against women, Andrea, all they´re saying is that, you´re right, these are personal decisions,
