Cain: ‘The New York Times
is a racist newspaper’

Daily Caller, by Caroline May

Original Article

Posted By:donttaxmebro, 12/21/2012 5:10:21 PM

Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain came out swinging Friday against a Wednesday New York Times op-ed that claims Republicans strategically use black politicians to “undermine black interests.” The op-ed specifically dismisses South Carolina Republican Rep. Tim Scott, who will soon join the Senate, as one of the Republicans’ “cynical tokens.” Cain declared the New York Times a “racist newspaper” for running the column, which was penned by University of Pennsylvania political science professor Adolph Reed Jr. and titled “The Puzzle of Black Republicans.”

Comments:
Good for Cain. I get so tired of elitists thinking they know what the rest of the country and specific voting blocs should believe. Really upsetting. I hoped Cain was doing well after that election. Looks like he is!

The NY Times thinks so little of African Americans.

Apparently, the NYT believe that these people have no free will and are unable to think for themselves and are still subject to their Lib/Dem masters.

Does the NYT care when the unemployment rate among blacks in major US cities is approximately 30 to 50 percent, and there is a black President in the White House who is doing nothing about it?

The Democratic Party discourse on race is 2-faced and racist. In the same sentence they can claim the GOP is racist, and then tell a person how to vote based on their race. Cain is right to take offense. I take offense, and I have a thick hide. It hurts me deep in my soul how racist the Democratic Party is.

I guess if your not a "true down with the brothers" Democrat Black person you have to be a token "Uncle Tom" Black of the Republicans. And this is because Blacks don´t know how to understand issues??? They can only understand skin color. WOW! Who knew?

At any rate, Adolph Reed Jr here is breathtakingly ignorant, shallow as a puddle in the desert, sees life through a tunnel lens, and is apparently happy to share such traits with no worries of how he sounds.

On her Thursday broadcast, “The Kelly File” host Megyn Kelly brought on Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer to sound off on the latest excerpt of President Barack Obama’s interview with the New Yorker magazine’s David Remnick. In that excerpt, Obama blamed Fox News and conservative talker Rush Limbaugh for the gridlock in Washington, D.C. Krauthammer noted Obama has “the commanding heights of the culture” in his corner and said it was unbecoming of the leader of the free world to complain on those grounds. “At least he is not blaming it on climate change or George W. On Thursday, semi-retired radio talker Neal Boortz predicted the republican party will not win control of the U.S. Senate in the 2014 midterm elections, despite all the pitfalls the democrats and president Barack Obama are facing, particularly with regards to ObamaCare. The reason, Boortz said, would be the GOP’s tendency to run on issues related to social conservatism. Boortz explained the importance to the republic for a GOP win next year while guest hosting Sean Hannity’s Thursday radio show: this whole thing about Phil Robertson and what have you – it speaks a lot to what we have

On Tuesday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer insisted the divide within the Republican Party has been exaggerated, adding that Republicans disagree over strategy but not ideology. “[I] think this whole thing is as you say very much blown up by the liberal media because it’s a great dramatic story,” Krauthammer said. “But here’s the fundamental contradiction. During the online-only portion of Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” on Wednesday night, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer laid out his theory on what Obamacare’s real intended purpose is: an instrument to redistribute wealth. Krauthammer made that claim in his column last week, but he explained how it works in practice to host Bret Baier and co-panelists former New Jersey Superior Court Judge Andrew Napolitano and The Hill associate editor A.B. Scarborough was asked by Hewitt if he had any idea how many people would ultimately lose their health care coverage because of that law. Scarborough replied by saying many more Americans would be impacted by that law than what then-President George W. WASHINGTON — Tennessee Republican Sen. Bob Corker called out fellow Republicans Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and Sen. Cruz, earlier this week, held the floor for over 21 hours, speaking in defense of defunding Obamacare with that government funding bill. He asked other Republican senators to join him in voting against moving forward on a bill passed by the House , which would fund the government while defunding Obamacare.

As part of its plan to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, the Obama administration is targeting the dairy industry to reduce methane emissions in their operations. This comes despite falling methane emission levels across the economy since 1990. The White House has proposed cutting methane emissions from the dairy industry by 25 percent by 2020. Although U.S. agriculture only accounts for about 9 percent of the country’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, it makes up a sizeable portion of methane emissions — which is a very potent greenhouse gas.
