I visited my local Cabela´s yesterday. Where they normally have four racks of used guns, there were only two. There were no semi-automatic rifles, only lever action and bolt action. Ammo was pretty low, too. I bought the last box of .45 caliber Long Colts on the shelf.

Just saw Reveria on Fox calling for a ban on assault weapons and high cap magazines.
Also, saw that China is calling for the disarming of the American People.
Obama, Feinstein, Lautenberg, Schumer and the rest of the socialist left will do their best to not only get assault weapons banned but all firearms. Kinda puts those large ammo purchases by the feds in perspective.

Well, #5, the feds can´t seem to keep their weapons out of the hands of drug cartels and Syrian rebels, a few citizens here should have no problem getting hold of some of the feds ammo. After all, we paid for it, which is more than the Mexicans and Syrians did.

What does that tell one about Obama, Feinstein, Schumer, and the rest of the libs. One can put a lot of people on Foxnews in the same bunch as the rushers to ban. These people are insane.

I went to both of my "toy" stores yesterday. I have never seen them so busy, and all the fun stuff was gone. By the time I got there at 11:30 a.m., the last of six mini 14s that they had as of yesterday, was headed out the door. I settled for 2000 rounds of 9mm FMJ, 500 rounds of 30s and a 100 rounds of 40cal hollow points for the hubby´s stocking stuffer. Back ordered on 17 round clips for my favorite packing pistol. Getting scary out here in the high uncut.

Besides the frightening ignorance of the voters, is a population equally unschooled about firearms. I grew up around them, and was in the army. One of the curses of the all-volunteer army is an abject ignorance among the general populace.

A coral reef in Northern Australia severely damaged by warming seas has managed to completely heal itself in just 12 years, stunned researchers have found. The team found that being left alone to breed on its own was key. The discovery raises hope that other damaged reefs could ´regenerate´. The new research shows that an isolated reef off the northwest coast of Australia that was severely damaged by a period of warming in 1998. It was hit by coral bleaching, caused by higher water temperatures that break down the coral´s symbiotic relationship with algae that provide food for coral growth.

The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.
