It´s possible. Obama´s percent of the vote did decline from ´08 to ´12. However, the change is so small it doesn´t make a bit of difference.

Those who would vote for ´Bama are in jail or disenfranchised. Those with "real jobs" and living a traditional lifestyle increasingly know the score.

I am afraid that 50 years of the "Great Society" has permanently destroyed the black culture in this country - and a good part of everything else.

#5. From my totally unscientific observations, there are very, very few black guys with "real jobs." Essentially no high line-men, garbage men, machine operators, construction workers, auto mechanics, road construction, roofers. But walk the halls of any government building and you will see dozens and dozens sitting at their desks, fiddling with computers,drinking coffee and flashing the evil eye at white guys. That not "real work."

Perhaps many were the fine men in our military? They are responsible and think for themselves.

need to disagree with #7, partially. I do see black faces doing real jobs, i.e. driving garbage trucks. But say "hello" and listen for the accent. Do the same at the DMV or other government office and you get a different response as the woman behind the glass tries to poke at a keyboard with 2" nails while chatting on her cell phone

Just very limited anecdotal evidence, but some of the few black young men I have met are highly entrepreneurial (and not selling drugs, I hasten to add...). Hope and change of the right sort perhaps?

Doesn´t matter if they are or are not rejecting him. He´s already been re-elected.

While we all know that tons of black guys hang around street corners in bad neighborhoods or occupy government jobs with no risk of accountability I have to say that is hardly the entire picture.

I work with black people who are mixed in with other minorities and a majority of whites. The head of the corporate tax dept in which I work is black, the guy I support is a black originally from Africa. There are many other blacks - including one who looks like he should be playing football but instead is involved in US taxes. These people are here on merit since this is a for profit corporation. There are also many accomplished black and other minority women.

I won´t say that the company isn´t conscious of trying to "be inclusive" but the people they´ve chosen are there to do a job and I have yet to encounter anyone who isn´t as worth his or her pay as any white person.

Ironically, black men are probably the ones suffering the most under Obama given the employment situation. So it shouldn´t be a surprise that they didn´t support him with the same intensity as they did 2008.

I still believe that when you find a traditional black family (father, mother and kids, perhaps some grandparents) living under the same roof, employed in non-gov´t make-work jobs, they tend to be more conservative and have traditional values. The challenge across the black culture is to support this lifestyle and build millions more like it. Sadly, this will not happen for decades if at all. The black culture is so dysfunctional and it is obvious to everyone but blacks will never acknowledge it for fear of being called "white" or Uncle Tom. Also, rather than talk about the real issues in the black culture, the vast majority of the blacks are looking for something or someone to blame and it WILL NOT be the image in the mirror.

No, they are going to reject Obama. They don´t like what is happening to them under his Administration and if you talk to them in private they do seem to understand his policies are doing the damage. I guess that is a start, if a feeble one.

But reject him? No, a vast majority will support him no mater what. Eighty percent is landslide territory in anyone´s political book.

Rejecting him will happen to his successor in four + years time, whoever that will be.

I don´t see this happening, I see the continuation of the DNC plantation mentality and the increased use of the Kool-aid pitcher. The DNC has and will continue the give away to keep the black community under their control, even if that is bad for them.
The Democrats have spent a lot of time and effort to convince the black comunity that they are too stupid or oppressed to suceed by their own effort. They must continue to be dependent on government (controlled by the DNC) to survive.
The DNC enablers at the NAACP will continue to get the big bucks for their pockets and scam the rest of the community, as long as the DNC provides the payoff they will continue to help keep the masters people on the plantation.

Are welfare recipients showing signs they want to go back to work?

Are republicans showing an ability to unite the American people behind conservative values?

It would be nice to believe that the climate of racism that is being foisted on this country by Obama is being rejected by the ´victim´ class that Obama is building, with the help of the entire MSM.

As far as any black men ´rejecting´ Obama, apparently none of them live or vote in Philadelphia where not ONE vote in 59 districts went for Romney.
