Discovery Series ‘American Guns’ Cancelled
Deadline Hollywood, by Nellie Andreeva

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 12/18/2012 4:14:56 AM

There will not be a third season of Discovery‘s docu reality series American Guns. The show, about a family of gun makers, has been drawing attention following Friday’s elementary school shooting in a Connecticut in which 26 people — including 20 first-grade children — were gunned down by a 20-year-old whose mom was a gun collector. There have been angry messages posted by viewers on the show’s Facebook page. American Guns has now been cancelled. Discovery sources say the decision was quietly made awhile ago, however it didn’t come to light until today.

Leftist bullies strike again. this show is harmless and educational but in the left´s world it might trigger another attack. next they´ll be banning Dirty Harry movies and making their possession a form of contraband.

I´m really amazed and disgusted over how many things continue to fall in the left´s lap to further their agenda of de-Americanizing this country.

First was the gulf oil spill which led to a virtual ban on offshore drilling. You had a hurricane which just happened to fall on the opening of the republican conventions the last two times. Hurricane Sandy turned into a photo op from hell for Obama and knocked Romney off message. Not to mention the additional agony of Christie´s lap dog praise.

Middle eastern revolts, orchestrated by Obama have been accepted as praiseworthy democratic movements by the same people who castigated Bush for trying to impose democracy on Afghanistan and Iraq.

Obama witheheld funds for school security in the name of budget savings wile he wasted billions on green energy scams. Now the hurricane bill has 8 million to buy green cars for the justice and homeland security, probably unsold Volts that will rot in a parking lot.

It costs over a billion a year for BO and Mo´s upkeep but we can´t afford security guards at schools.Obama´s dog walker makes a 100K a year.Obama finds the money to hire a 100 federal workers a day, which money could be used for security guards. But oh,no that´s not an option, banning guns is.

But they continue to show ´reality´ shows with drug addicts and mentally ill people which are the real problem ........ ´Intervention´ and a new Child Killer show scheduled to start soon.

The Ct. young man´s mother was afraid of him but it is so difficult to commit persons BEFORE they take violent actions.

That is the REAL problem .......... think Arizona, and other rampage killers.

Front-page editorials, disguised as news stories, have become such familiar features of the New York Times that it should have been no surprise to discover in the December 28th issue a front-page story about a professor of finance at the University of Houston who has been a paid consultant to financial enterprises. Since professors of all sorts have been paid consultants to organizations of all sorts, it is questionable why this was a story at all, much less one that covered an entire inside page, in addition to a central front-page opening, under the headline "Academics Who Defend Wall St. Reap

Senate Republicans still smarting from a Democratic rules change that diminished their power to block President Obama´s appointees are vowing retribution against the majority when lawmakers return to work in January. The GOP in the final weeks of the 2013 session provided a glimpse into what that might mean in 2014. Unable to block most presidential nominees because of the Democratic rule change, Republicans are using their remaining authority to slow the Senate to a crawl, delaying action on routine matters that typically pass uncontested. Senate Democrats changed the rules to limit Republicans´ use of the filibuster to block most

In the second half of the 2000s liberals did a fine job of blaming Bush for everything that went wrong in the US. His "neo-con" supporters, they asserted, were just as bad. Now that President Obama and his signature legislation are a twin disaster the same opportunity beckons for conservatives. It´s not just Obama, it´s the whole liberal project that created this mess. So the road to 2016 involves discrediting Obama, but also the whole liberal ruling class. A good place to start would be FDR´s Four Freedoms, for when the campaign to elect the un-Obama kicks off in 2016

From the Daily Mail, a fascinating historical document that I had never seen before: in July 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon for the first time. In those days, America’s space program took real risks–remember Apollo 13–and it was by no means certain that Armstrong and Aldrin, having landed on the moon, would be able to return. So William Safire, one of Richard Nixon’s speechwriters, prepared a statement that Nixon would have delivered if something had gone awry. It is, I think, an extraordinary document: (Photo of document) “These brave men, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin,
