PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Hasbro says it will soon reveal a gender-neutral Easy-Bake Oven after meeting with a New Jersey girl who started a campaign calling on the toy maker to make one that appeals to all kids. McKenna Pope, 13, of Garfield, N.J., got more than 40,000 signatures on her online petition at Change.org and the support of celebrity chefs including Bobby Flay, who backed her call for Hasbro to make a gender-neutral oven and to include boys in the ads. She was prompted to start the petition after shopping for an Easy-Bake as a Christmas present

So, while N. Korea develops a launch vehicle that can hit any nation on earth with a nuclear weapon, Islamic nations build the world´s tallest buildings, making huge strides in the art of architecture, and the communist nations are making leads in manufacturing, build the world´s most gigantic damns and power plants and building the tallest, longest bridges in the world, the US present claim to fame in human advancement is a new unisex toy oven. Honestly, I never thought I would live to see my once gre4at nation come to this.

There is no such thing as an ´easy bake´ anything. My Mother and Grandmother taught me how to bake in the real oven and I taught my son to do the same, now the grandbabies nag to bake with me. I always thought this was a stupid toy.

Rush had an excellent caller today talking about how all of the mass shootings have in common being done by young white males from well off families. Then she pointed to how today´s society is suppressing basic male instincts and how it is affecting young males of today, in other words "chickifying" our young males.
This unisex Easy Bake Oven is just another example.

If they want a cooking toy for boys, come up with a miniature barbecue grill or smoker unit. Help ´em grow into the master grillers they´ll be expected to be.

Kinda weird turning the ability to cook a "sexist" thing. Aren´t most of the great chefs all over the world predominantly men?I

I seriously doubt chefs like Wolfgang Puck, Todd English, Jacque Pepin and Gordon Ramsay got their start because of an "Easy-Bake Oven".

Also, in other cultures as with the French and Italians (my culture) it is considered totally normal for the sons and daughters to learn to cook with their grandparents and parents in order to continue the family recipies which are never written.

As I imagine, this "13-year-old" is likely a patsy for some agenda-driven special interest group that either wants publicity or a law suit to force a private company to bow down to political correctness.

It is amazing how people, and in particular liberals, make issues out ones that do not exist.

Where are the feminists? They always have a problem when girls are "forced" to read books about boys, or go to movies where boys are the only or the most major stars. Girls watch and read "boy" things. Why shouldn´t boys feel comfortable buying something with girls on the box? You know, Free to be You and Me and all that. Why is this young boy intimidated by pink? Why does the older sister have to cater to a boy? All very, very troubling and we NEED the feminists to step in before it´s too late.

NEW YORK - There are many tax-time nightmares, but here´s one of the most common: You don´t have the cash to pay what you owe on April 15. "A couple of weeks ago, I ended up talking a young woman off a ledge, as it were, because she discovered she had screwed up on her withholding and owed a bunch of tax," says Melody Thornton, a certified public accountant in Cardiff, California. If you find yourself in that situation, don´t ignore the problem. The worst thing you can do is put off filing your return, without at least requesting an

Of the plans that states have hatched for the Affordable Care Act, none has been bolder than that of Vermont, which wants to implement a single-payer health-care system, along the lines of what you might find in Britain or Canada. One government-operated system will cover all 620,000 of Vermont’s citizens. The hope is that such a system will allow Vermont to get costs down closer to Canada’s, as well as improve health by coordinating care and ensuring universal coverage.
