Sec. Clinton´s Concussion Raises More
Questions About Health, Benghazi

Breitbart´s Big Peace, by Tony Lee

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 12/17/2012 1:31:09 AM

When the State Department revealed on Saturday that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had fainted last week and suffered a concussion due to a stomach virus, the announcement left more questions than answers regarding Clinton´s health. (Snip) This is the second time Clinton will not be able to answer key questions about Libya because of her health. Susan Rice, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, said Clinton was first asked to go on the Sunday shows after terrorists attacked the U.S. consulate in Benghazi but was too worn down to do so. Rice ultimately went on the Sunday shows in Clinton's

Comments:
This is a great question. Is there really a far more sinister reason for PIAPS to be hiding from the Benghazigate Hearings? Would she wilt under the harsh lights of the congressional room? Will they ever be televised live on C-SPAN? And, why is Ollie North not being heard from on this gun-to-rebels [al Qaeda] debacle?

This reminds me of school i.e. suddenly getting sick to avoid some big assignment.

Hillary REALLY doesn´t want to testify....too much to hide apparently.

Why would I not be surprised if she had an excuse verification note from a Dr. Ukulele?

PIAPS is a congenital liar, woefully unqualified for the position she holds, similar to the rest of this administration. Even if the coward testfies, she will give one of her usual two answers to every question: (1) "I don´t remember", or (2) a complete fabrication.

There is no such thing as a "stomach virus". Gastro upset is almost always food poisoning; a bacterial attack. It is also fairly self-limiting. Why doesn´t our fawning press say that?

I was thinking the same thing, that she´s in rehab.A 65 year olds body can´t take limitless quantities of alcohol.Getting off and staying off alcohol is an extremely tough thing to do.Probably Jesse Jackson jr. problem, not bipolarism, they have medicine for that.

She only needs to stonewall until she´s replaced by Kerry. Then she will say she took responsibility, its moot, she´s a private citizen and so let´s all move on.

Republicans should return in kind and stonewall Kerry nomination and not confirm him unless and until GreasyLocks testifies before Congress on Benghazi. But as usual, that would require the Republicans to have some stones.

Hmmm It sounds like Hillary is about to suffer the same amnesia that she had several years back when she couldn´t find some records related to White Water. Those of course turned up in the White House living quarters after the heat died down.

Isn´t it interesting that she didn´t check into any medical facilities. Actual concussions are usually considered to be fairly significant health issues when they are real. She must have overlooked that fact when she came up with this excuse.

Hillary is first and foremost a lawyer and knows very well the high cost of committing perjury before Congress.
She wants so badly to avoid accountability for this mess that she is throwing away her chance to be president by throwing the "weak and fragile woman" card.
This should embolden the house investigators to know that she is hiding something really big, and the pursuit will be worth their efforts. Ignore the "house leadership" and go for the gold, Trey Gowdy!

I don´t quite agree with #6 in re PIAPS being a "congenital" liar. In two different jobs I had two real congenital liars working for me. Both guys would lie to exaggerate a story, when the truth would have sufficed.

I believe that PIAPS is an artful liar, meaning to me that she lies when the truth would give the listener a picture of her that does not fit her self image.

Methinks she was telling the truth when she told Baba Wawa that she does not plan to run for President again. Jeez, she´ll be 70 in 2016. Let the hag retire in peace, after what she has put us through.

Good article Mr. Lee. But there is a big lie in it. "Susan Rice, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, said Clinton was first asked to go on the Sunday shows after terrorists attacked the U.S. ´consulate´ in Benghazi but was too worn down to do so."
There was NO consulate in Benghazi. It was a CIA operations center.
You can´t demonstrate against that....so they called it a consulate. Knowing they were lying.

She will duck Benghazi now since there are legal implications involved with lying under oath, then deal with health questions later if she runs, which is unlikely.

The sad fact is that it won´t matter even if she does testify and spill the beans that there was a cover-up to avoid election damage to Obama. More than half the country is now too hooked on government goodies to care. They are reliable democrat voters for life now regardless of the scope of any scandle.

My guess is that, like the inebriated captain of the Exxon Valdez, Hillary was not at her post, and was incapable of assuming it. My second guess is that senior Republicans in Congress know it, and are sparing her the humiliation of a pointless hearing on the eve of her departure from public life. She is being given the courtesy of a former senator. It is a kinder act than was extended to John Tower, but then again he had been nominated to SecDef.

Reply 40 - Posted by: Buckeye96, 12/17/2012 10:53:37 AM     (No. 9070741)

Next PIAPS will say that the concussion caused amnesia so she can´t remember a single think about Benghazi. This is so ridiculous that I doubt even the democrats actually believe it.

A concussed PIAPS? The LSM will yell that she can´t testify but that this has no relevance to her ability to be POTUS.

Now if this was a republican . . . hmm. Here´s the headline: "Candidate . . . so stupid (just like all republicans) that he doesn´t know how to deal with simple flu. . . wanders around, dehydrated, and falls down and concusses himself. What an idiot. He shouldn´t even think about becoming president."

If Hillary does not come clean on Benghazi, she is not fit to be POTUS, regardless of anything else. She does not have the character. We all knew this already, but this would be the "smoking gun" in any campaign. That is the calculation that she and Bill must make.

#24, you say that Hillary is not a congenital liar, because you believe
(a) that congenital liars will lie about anything and everything, even trivial things (by for example "exaggerat[ing] a story"); and
(b) Hillary only lies cleverly.

You seem to have forgotten Hillary´s "dodging snipers´ bullets in Bosnia" tall tale. If there ever was a case of "exaggerating a story," in Congressional hearings, that was it.

And how dumb was it for Hillary to make that up? It was easily checked -- and of course, the Secret Service had never allowed Hillary to be anywhere near sniper fire when she visited Bosnia as First Lady.

North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand. Itar-Tass also quoted the U.K.’s Sky News as saying North Korea currently has eight nuclear warheads.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Los Angeles — Some people have had it with TV. They´ve had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don´t like timing their lives around network show schedules. They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. (Snip) Last month, the Nielsen Co. started labeling people in this group "Zero TV" households, because they fall outside the traditional definition of a TV home. There are 5 million of these residences in the U.S., up from

Annette Funicello, the dark-haired darling of TV´s “The Mickey Mouse Club” in the 1950s who further cemented her status as a pop-culture icon in the ´60s by teaming with Frankie Avalon in a popular series of “beach” movies, died Monday. She was 70. Funicello, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1987 and became a spokeswoman for treatment of the chronic, often-debilitating disease of the central nervous system, died at Mercy Southwest Hospital in Bakersfield, Walt Disney Co. spokesman Howard Green said. HARTFORD, Conn. -- With time running out on the chance to pass gun control legislation, President Barack Obama on Monday warned Congress not to use delaying tactics against tighter regulations and told families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims that he´s "determined as ever" to honor their children with tougher laws. Obama´s gun control proposals have run into resistance on Capitol Hill, leaving their fate in doubt. Efforts by Senate Democrats to reach compromise with Republicans over expanding required federal background checks have yet to yield an agreement, and conservatives were promising to try

Chelsea Clinton has raised her profile in the last few days, which sparked the inevitable question about the former first daughter´s future: Will she ever be like Mom and Dad and run for office? Clinton, 33, essentially said "maybe" in an interview that aired Monday on NBC´s Today show. "Right now I´m grateful to live in a city, a state and a country where I strongly support my mayor, my governor, my president and my senators and my representative," said Clinton, whose father, Bill, was president from 1993-2001 and her mother, Hillary

More than 700 Special Operations veterans are urging members of Congress to back a select committee to investigate last year’s Benghazi terrorist attack, according to a letter first obtained by Fox News. The letter from the group, “Special Operations Speaks,” supports the appointment of a special committee tasked with the single mission of investigating the attack that left Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans dead, and shut down the CIA operation in an annex of the Benghazi consulate, in the Sept. 11, 2012 attack. “Congress must show some leadership and provide answers to the public

President Barack Obama is bringing 11 relatives of those killed in the shooting at Connecticut´s Sandy Hook Elementary School to Washington on Air Force One on Monday so they can personally encourage senators to back gun legislation that faces tough opposition. A nonprofit organization that works with the families, Sandy Hook Promise, said that after Obama´s speech on gun control in Hartford, he is flying with relatives of seven children and one staffer killed during December´s massacre at the school. The White House says Obama is going to argue that lawmakers have an

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.
