The idea of a soft landing is a myth. All the attempts to lessen the economic problems we have been facing since 2007, have simply extended the time before a recovery can take place. Britain will go through some hard times, but their recovery will be sooner for their efforts.

When I drive down the road, and look at all the storage places where we rent space to keep all the junk we drug home from the stores, I know that we have no discipline. We have too much money, and far to much credit.

And why do we give food stamps to a 300 lb, overweight man or woman?

If it wasn´t for those darned conservatives trying to spend less money across the pond, Britain would be doing just fine.

I say we should spend like there is no tomorrow, because there probably is no tomorrow, at least the way we remember it.

I want to thank the Washington Post for having the courage to finally point this out. Spending more than you have always leads to prosperity. Let the good times roll.
