| Imagine for a moment if a Christian fundamentalist pastor publicly threatened a Democratic Party governor about to sign a legitimately passed bill into law with a long-term campaign of public harassment for doing so. Now imagine if that pastor extended that threat to include appearances at the governor´s home and at his children´s sporting events, and that Republican and conservative elected officials on hand during the pastor´s announcement voiced no objection to the pastor´s threats. All of that would be news, right? Well, Detroit pastor Charles E. Williams II, described here as "Pastor, Historic King Solomon Baptist Church

But,but,but..........
The liberals feel so deeply and care so much more than others that we have to overlook their occasional exaggerations.
Laws controlling the actions of dangerous conservatives must be strengthened, however.

The lunatic left harrassed Governor Walker & our republican legislators for over a year. Other than conservative talk radio & websites it went largely unreported so it continued without public outcry. Can´t condemn stuff you know nothing about !
Then one day a lefty union hack had a couple eggs thrown at his house. This story made front page headlines, above the fold, complete with pictures & outrage over the behavior of conservatives.
I´m still bruised & battered over what our state went through. The hypocrisy from the left, the double standards, the lies, the misinformation & the free pass from the press has just about turned me off of all things political.

The brutal fact is that Democrats have declared everyone who can´t be bullied by them to be enemies of their state. We, who believe in our Constitution and the rule of law, are their enemy and they have given themselves permission to destroy us by any means possible. Since 1967 we have been in a Second American Civil War- and we´ve just lost a huge battle in that war. The Orcs are coming for us and you better be prepared.

What the left is disparate to tear down capitalism.
1) We know our value system is bankrupt, but if we all stick together, we all get paid.
2) We know we are wrong, but don´t judge us - this is why we hate Judeo-Christian ethics.
3) We are lazy and understand that our lack of motivation will take us to abject poverty and that alone will discredit any arguement we put forth - this is why we push for "social justice".

This last paragraph sums up the ´non-coverage´ by our press very well:
~~But when a reasonably prominent far-left pastor threatens a long-term campaign of harassment against a sitting governor and his family, there´s nothing but stone silence. The only reasonable conclusion is that the press doesn´t want the nation to know about the chronic incivility, threats, or even the violence routinely carried out by the left against Republicans and conservatives. The non-exposure only encourages more of the same. It would appear that the press wouldn´t mind seeing that result at all.~~

This kind of dangerous nonsense is why we moved out of Ann Arbor to a small town in the same county. It is also why I won´t substitute teach in A2 or points East either.
I´m so tired of unions, progressives, and Affirmative Action people who think they are owed something and who care less about the good of the state, city, county or country. They are power hungry and anyone who threatens to take that power away, they will have no compunction about doing great harm to that person.
Rick Snyder was not my preferred candidate for Governor, but his signing the bill has certainly elevated him in my approval.

A few years ago ads promoted --send 10 dollars and receive legal registration as a minister all that´s necessary is to maintain a a spot in your home place a Bible on something designated as an altar and begin your church and pay no property taxes . My brother decided to check out the con and applied then was shocked to receive a legal license. That license even allowed him to claim his home as an official tax free location. He took it to the court house and was told so it´s legal enough and no official classes necessary to qualify. He tucked it away to show real ministers what their competition had become. Now any more questions about certain people have acquired this religious designation.

Now they need to make clear that they will not tolerate this kind of threat-mongering and lawlessness, and bullying and thuggishness.
The Leftists never ever hesitate to make their loud obnoxious voices heard. Now the civilized members of our Republic need to speak out and NOT back down.

As he continues guiding the Senate toward eventual consideration of proposals to curb gun violence, Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) invoked his father’s suicide Tuesday as he once again pleaded with Republicans not to block legislation under consideration. During his morning remarks on the Senate floor, Reid recalled receiving a 12-gauge shotgun ordered from a Sears catalog for his 12th birthday and made reference to incidents of gun violence in his home state of Nevada, including the 2010 shooting at a Las Vegas federal building. He also noted that as a young state legislator, he sponsored a bill

He won a second term, but Barack Obama isn’t done fund-raising. The president will appear at a cozy reception for fewer than 65 guests with tickets priced at $32,400 per couple at the Manhattan home of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and his designer wife Georgina Chapman on May 13, Page Six has exclusively learned. The invitation explains attendees get “a frank and intimate discussion with the president” where they can ask questions, and afterward Obama will “say thank you to each guest and take a photo with them.” A Weinstein-hosted fundraiser in August brought out

A homeless man, oblivious to President Obama’s passing motorcade, took BB gun practice in the nearby woods and refused to drop his weapon when confronted by Connecticut cops, officials said today. Obama was speaking yesterday at the University of Hartford when police, stationed along the president’s route to Bradley International Airport, heard noises coming from a nearby wooded area around 5:50 p.m., said Bloomfield police Capt. Stephen Hajdasz. A detective from the neighboring town of Simsbury ordered the man — identified as 27-year-old Joseph Stravinskas — to drop what appeared to be a rifle, according to Hajdasz.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week.
