| Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will not be able to testify next week before House and Senate panels on the Benghazi issue because she sustained a concussion, a top State Department official said Saturday. Clinton was a scheduled to testify Thursday on the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, in which U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stephens and three other Americans were killed. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Philippe Reines said Saturday that Clinton is suffering from a stomach virus, fainted and hit her head, which caused the concussion. However, he did not say when

They´re saying the concussion happened earlier last week when she was recovering from the stomach virus but we´re just now hearing about the concussion. She fainted due to dehydration from the virus. It all adds up now. She´s working from home. Working on what getting more arms to rebels?

The State Department [which is PIAPS], refers to this injury as an "incident."
What would the murder of Ambassador Stevens and the three men in Benghazi be classified as in government-speak? Probably wouldn´t look good on Herself´s resume and run in 2016. Best stay home and bake cookies.

A concussion like the one Ambassador Stevens felt after the American weaponry was fired at him by the Libyan terrorists during their planned attack. That concussion.

the "concussion" provides her with an out for not testifying now, and later when she lies and gets caught, she can avoid a perjury or contempt charge by claiming amnesia or altered recollections due to traumatic brain injury...heck before this is all over, I suspect we (taxpayers) will be paying her disability payments in perpetuity for her "concussion".

Hillary´s concussion is just as real as the so-called movie causing the terror in Libya.
The Clintons are not known for telling the truth, even under oath!
The whole Obama administration is corrupt! They don´t pay taxes unless forced to.
Obama and the Mrs. are enjoying their joyride in the White House and only amuse themselves and their buddies, at our expense.
Obama has caused more chaos in America than any other president and has cost US more than all together from the very beginning and he has only started - what will it be like in another 4 years?
Hillary has used Bill to get her where she is today! I wonder how important that will be on Judgment Day when she stands alone and must give an account of her life! God knows her heart. She can´t lie to Him and get away with it.

She must testify. We can wait. We will wait. In fact, the more bizarre, goofy, stupid her and, AND, the regime´s excuses or rationalizations are, the more important it is to get the testimony on record.

Unless Mrs. Clinton fell from a great height, that is more than just ´high heels,´ a true concussion is practically impossible -- unless her skull bone is very abnormally thin. And then it would only be even plausible, if she was falling/diving from great height and fell directly on her head, and then necessarily spent time in a hospital. As a number have already said, this sounds about as implausible as blaming that ´Mohammad film clip´ for the Benghazi event. Lying is no way to run the American Republic!

Anyone here surprised? No.
If she testifies and tells the truth, all hopes of ever running for President will be gone. PIAPS needs any excuse to keep from walking into that room.
I agree with other comments. The committee should tell Hillary they will wait until she can appear.

And this excuse for a representative of the US will now refuse to testify in the murder of 4 Americans. Shame on this country and shame on the "low information voters" who allow this phoney administration to debase the US.

They want to run things their way until they screw up & then they want a convenient excuse - usually "delicate health, female trouble" or whatever. It is all designed so that if criticized, they can say, "Look at the meeeaan Republicans, picking on a poor, sick woman!" She ought to stand up & take her medicine just like the "man" she thinks she is.

Since a concussion is a potentially life-threatening injury Congress has made an immediate appointment with her with doctor on call for Congress. His suggestion is that she immediately turn over all duties to her deputy. When the doctor finds that it is safe to resume her duties, she can start by giving her sworn testimony to Congress and then resume her Secretary of State role.

This is contempt for Congress and the citizens who have a right to call government officials to account for their actions. The Republicans in Congress need to do everything in their power to make sure that she does not get away with this, even if it means shutting down the government. There is a fundamental principle at stake.

Anyone who hits their head and has a concussion ...MUST have a CatScan within two days....as Liam Neasom can attest to...
Hillary is lying...and it is an obvious blatant lie...the press is complicit her constant arrogant lies...and in refusing to answer for those murdered and tortured in Benghazi...but seeing that they hate the Millitary that makes it okay, by them...Imagine if this were the Bush Administration...imagine the full symphony af shrieking ...
As to Obama´s fake tears #12...and they were fake indeed...
Tears come from the inner eye.from .the tear ducts...
Obama wiped first the one outer eye...and then it began tearing...then a minute or two later... he wiped the other outer eye where again there was no tear...that is, until he put something in his eye...
One does not cry from only one eye and then minutes later the other begins watering....and one.never tears from the outer eye as the tear ducts are in the inner corners only...
With Obama and his constant fraud we are forced to prove him a constant prevaricator...

Obama and his entire crew, including Hillary, are the biggest bunch of stonewallers to ever occupy our government. And key to their stonewalling success is the corrupt, defunct non-Fox news media... All in all, the American version of the Kremline and Pravda. An outrage to a country increasingly too clueless to be outraged.

So...let´s think about this. She will do anything to avoid testifying. Why is that? Why not lie, and obfuscate, and stonewall as usual? Is it because she knows that the answers are already there, and provable? And if she doesn´t testify, AKA lie, then they can´t accuse her of lying...and she can´t tell the truth, because, well, because it´s too awful and she will lose all hope of running in 2016. So Humpty Dumpty has a great fall. She´s walking on eggshells and she knows it.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”
