The resolute denial of ineradicable human evil is of course a fundamental characteristic of Leftist fantasy ideology. One might have thought that the slightest acquaintance with history or even a little honest introspection would quickly disabuse Leftists of their utterly fallacious ideas about human beings, but one would be mistaken. They cling to their illusions like the drowning to their flotsam.

There is nothing metaphysical or obscure about it. One need not believe in Original Sin or even the Id to acknowledge that human beings are capable of terrible acts of evil. It is quite disingenuous to pretend otherwise, especially in view of the record of the Left, the friends of humanity, when they acquire despotic power over people.

Wrong! As long as we have institutions and laws that are put in place to feed someone´s greed, urge for power or revenge, this mayhem will continue. If you want to stop the mayhem, then base your laws and institutions on moral reasons. Otherwise, expect more....lots more.

Unfortunately, those who hold similar viewpoints are about to be drowned out by the unwise- the mindless Hollywood celebrities, the opportunistic politicians, and the chattering media. We need to stand firm that it is the cultural rot that is the catalyst in these tragedies. All we then need is the selfish nihilist, devoid of any empathy, to then act out.

The so-called "celebrities" use these sad occasions to get their oh-so-serious selves out there before the public. That´s all.

I´ve posted this on other threads, but the thing that most of these monsters have in common is that they are young, white men who are either in their teens or 20s. They have been diagnosed with Asbergers (highly function autism), ADHD, OCD or some other sort of behavior disorder. They are then given Class II Narcotics like Adderall, Ritalin, etc. Rarely do they actually undergo behavior therapy...and, often times the ADHD drugs are coupled with anti-depressants like Zoloft, Lexapro, Wellbutrin, etc. And guess what a lot of these young men do? Well, they do one of two things...they crush up the adderall and take it like straight cocaine, or they just go cold and stop taking it altogether or take it periodically.

The result -- they make themselves manic. They literally change the chemistry of their brains and their personalities. It´s a deadly problem. If they don´t kill or severely damage themselves, they kill other people. Take away the guns, and they´ll find another way to create destruction and chaos.

They (the media) stopped reporting this, because the gun story is always so much better, but all the young men in the ´90s who shot up their schools were all on these drugs. Every last one of them.

I can´t be political or humorous or clever right now. I can only be introspective and searching.....

Sadly, human life has been unnecessarily rendered cheap.

But today there is much senseless PC-driven division and strife fosterd by the disruptive agenda of the statists and their lsm/hollyweird/musis/alphabets. We can no longer even think of once common daily things such as safely going for an evening walk as was taken for granted just a few decades ago here in the USA. (-Remember that lilac scene in, ´´It´s a Wonderful Life?´´) We hardly gave a thought to any threats against our personal safety nor of our property as doors & windows were routinely left unlocked at least until the mid ´60s.

The farther our society gets from knowing the difference between, ´right vs. wrong,´ ...and CHOOSING the right, and the more we ignore the basic Wisdom of The Golden Rule, the more rude & crude society becomes. We have witnessed this negative CHANGE since the ´70s.

Mentally deranged individuals commit violent acts in many different ways: bombs, knives, guns, etc.
For me, this tragedy isn´t about guns but liberal laws that allow maniacs to roam the streets. Pass some laws to involuntarily lock up these nut jobs before they destroy others; hospitals for the Criminally Insane exist for a reason. Contrary to Liberal do-goodism, not all maniacs can be helped or should be allowed to live in society, period. Society has the right to protect itself from these out of control lunatics.
