Will Swift Boat Veterans
reunite to protest a
Kerry nomination?

Human Events, by Hope Hodge

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 12/13/2012 9:35:56 PM

In popular wisdom, one-time presidential runner-up Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) is likely to be nominated by President Barack Obama for Secretary of Defense or Secretary of State. But if Kerry does get the nod, a group credited with helping to thwart his presidential bid could re-organize to take him down once again. The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a group formed of military veterans who served alongside Kerry, worked to bring attention to the senator’s anti-war activities following his military service and to raise doubts about the truth of Kerry’s own accounts of his conduct

The Swift boat veterans were not about politics but truth. One would think men that value honor above base politics would be willing to address Jon Carey´s past and immune to the usual Kneepad media´s vitriol.

Thank goodness for the Swift Boat Vets...they just don´t give up. What a great bunch of guys. To say they don´t think much of John Kerry would be an understatement.

Oh! John, we are still waiting to see that DD 201 File you promised to show us. Do you have it yet?

So tell me people, who would you rather see Obama use a SoS?

He is a far cry better than Susan Rice.

Also it would get Lurch out of the Senate. That might be useful. There can´t be too many more candidates like Elizabeth Warren to fill the spot.

US foreign policy is going to be bad with Obama regardless. Kerry at least doesn´t shot his mouth off.

Kerry doesn´t shoot his mouth off? What about if you don´t go to college, you wind up "stuck in Iraq?" What about his false testimony about soldiers performing atrocities "reminiscent of ´Jenjis´ Khan?" I don´t care if it was a long time ago; he never disavowed that testimony.

John Kerry is a disgrace to both the Senate and if it were possible Massachusetts. IMHO anyone who believes he will be "better" than Clinton doesn´t know Kerry´s record. He testified before Congress about Vietnam, with lies about "winter soldier", making life even more miserable for POW´s and OUR Military while he polished his THREE Purple Hearts for a total of less than 10 weeks in Vietnam. He should have been tried AS a traitor. That´s who Kerry is. He is certainly NOT simply a harmless dunce residing in a mansion paid for by his wife´s long-dead Republican husband. He would be a danger to this Country. Good Grief!

I wish the Swiftee´s all the good fortune available this Christmas Season, but the only impediment to Mr. Kerry is the Senate, and we know what their ethics are like.

"Gigolo traitor" sums it up nicely. The people of Massachusetts should be ashamed of themselves for thrusting this weasel on the American people. I hope the swifties run thousands of ads with video clips of his testimony and throwing his medals. Throw in a few hanoi jane photos for association. Too many voters are not old enough to remember those times.

These past few days have been kind of like a Class Reunion:
first, Ms. Clinton´s hair story got all the fun nicknames going again- PIAPS, PETUIATE, Monica´s Boyfriends´ Wife, Cankles, etc., etc.
-now today, with the Susan Rice withdrawal, we get to hear all the vintage Kerry stuff- Jenjhis John, Monsewer Jean-Fraud Cair-ree, Lurch, Horseface, etc.
Kind of relieves the post -election funk, putting the old sportsman back in a good mood.
Looking forward to getting back in the fray.
First to last, a chance to gloat is all we ask.

As a proud Vietnam vet (survivor), I´ll contribute (again) to any Swiftboat campaign. Kerry is lying traitor and sefl-aggrandizing SOB. He was no ´hero´ but all pretense. I know of no other junior officer who took a movie camera to ´Nam to film his "exploits." Those of us who were smeared by his libels also know that the only guys who got to leave before their year was up were either very seriously wounded, or in a transfer case with a toe tag. Dishonest and a phony, Kerry would make a terrible representative for our nation to the world.

If you want The Haughty, French-Looking John Kerry to get bloodied during his confirmation as Sec State, you´ll need to look outside his buddies in the Senate for it.
McCain and Graham will roll over and show their bellies immediately. So the Swifties are the ONLY group that will provide insight and ask questions about this "90 day Wonder" and his shameful, self-promoting, yet cowardly performance as a "soldier".

Given the dims´ bench you always have to ask yourself which of the evils is Mr. or Ms. Lesser. With Rice vs. Kerry: which do you prefer, a liar or a traitor? The choices are likely to be so appalling that people will begin to miss the PIAPS.

I, for one, will never forget nor forgive the horse-faced, gigolo, wannabe elitist who put himself in for numerous fictitious awards and then utilized them to "game" his Vietnam Tour from 12 months down to 3.

As if that were not enough to never be allowed to show his face again in this country, he opportunistically joined Jane Fonda and the "Vietnam Vets Against The WAR" to falsely claim before Congress that American troops were raping, murdering, looting, etc. to ingratiate himself with the scum who he then embraced as his political base.
When the Officers with whom he briefly served in Vietnam rose up as a group to denounce Kerry as "Unfit to Command," the media bent over backwards to denounce them as "Swift boating" and as being without merit.
Thank God for those Swift Boat leaders! Without them Kerry and his partner, the now disgraced John Edwards, would have very likely been elected.
Count me among those who will shout from the roof top that John Kerry is a Knave and a Fool!

Only difference I can see between Rice and Kerry, is that Kerry has learned the subtle art of the quiet backstab as opposed to Rice and her ´flipping the bird´ out in the open. I am convinced that when Kerry and McCain went to VN back in the middle 90´s they nailed the coffin shut on finding out if there are any more of our pow´s still there.

John Kerry is an unjailed traitor to this country. If the voters of MA are too ignorant to not see through him, that is their problem, not mine. I am all for the Swift Boaters taking this guy on again.

There is no one in the Democrat stable that is honest or trustworthy. Not one. So in the long run it doesn´t make any difference who Obama nominates. They are all Communists and this is exactly what has been planned for decades. Will the Swift Boaters show up for this fight? I certainly hope so. One of our friends who fought in Nam is pretty discouraged at every thing that has happened. He said he fought the Commies in Nam when he was young, but he never thought he would have to still be fighting them at age 70. Yeah, me either, but it is what it is. They´re here and now they are clear and it´s time to stop them before it´s too late.

Democrats have a real knack for putting their most unworthy, ill-suited, damaged goods up on pedestals. Those Democrats get away with doing so primarily because their loyal, lapdog media enthusiastically morph into their corrupt “invent, omit and distort” modes. Hence John Kerry, Barack Obama and the most popular, beloved, idolized Democrat of all… Bill “Kiss it!” Clinton.

How fortunate we are to have the courageous Swift Boat Veterans to expose the truth about Kerry. If called upon, may they do it once again!

#61 is correct, why waste our energy on a lost cause, he´s going in, Obama had to concede on Rice, because of questioning her would have been harmful.

They own this mess. We have to mobilize and get ready to combat more election fraud for 2016. We can make sure that implementing Obamacare is a nightmare for them, since that´s going through as well

NEW YORK — Watch out world, Grumpy Cat has hit her terrible twos. The top dog in Internet cat stardom, known for her downward smile and bugged-out baby blues, spent her birthday Friday touring New York City with an entourage worthy of Hollywood. And Hollywood is where the funny-looking feline is bound, with a movie project in the works to add to her pile of endorsements and licensing deals that include her scowling face on limited-edition bags of Friskies Party Mix treats and her own line of "Grumppuccino" bottled coffee drinks. So who will voice the cat we love to

Friends, fans and veteran politicos congregated in College Station on Friday to kick off a celebration of George H.W. Bush´s presidency. The event, hosted at the George Bush Presidential Library Center, commemorated the 25th anniversary of his presidency, featured panels on key legislation and culminated with the unveiling of a statue of the 41st president. Neither Bush nor his wife spoke during the event but they did attend some of the panels, much to the delight of the crowd. Bush sported a special pair of "41" socks created specially for the anniversary. "President Bush had this uncanny ability to bring and

TOKYO — On his fourth trip to Asia as secretary of defense, Chuck Hagel is attempting to reassure allies in a region brimming with territorial disputes amid concerns about Russia’s takeover of Crimea. Spooked by the speed and ease with which Russia annexed the peninsula last month, close U.S. partners in the region are suddenly questioning the strength of security cooperation agreements with Washington.Addressing U.S. and Japanese troops at Yokota Air Base after landing here Saturday afternoon, Hagel said the United States remains committed to its “partnership, our friendship and our treaty obligations” with Tokyo. “We’re serious about that.” That’s a

Republican gubernatorial candidate Pete Ricketts was officially endorsed on Friday morning by former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who spoke before a wildly enthusiastic crowd at the Heartland Events Center in Grand Island. Palin was joined in that endorsement by former Republican Gov. Kay Orr, who has been working on Ricketts’ behalf within GOP circles but endorsed his candidacy in a very public way on Friday. In giving their endorsements to Ricketts, Palin and Orr formed a mutual admiration society. Orr said she and her late husband, Bill, were driving home from Iowa when a talk radio program was

President Obama on Saturday continued his election-year assault on the House GOP’s latest budget proposal, telling Americans the plan would “raise taxes on middle-class families with kids” and cut crucial programs while giving more handouts to the rich. In his weekly address, Mr. Obama made his case — without explicitly saying so — why voters should elect more Democrats in this November’s midterm elections and contrasted the GOP plan with his party’s priorities. “This week, the Republicans in Congress put forward a very different budget … it shrinks opportunity and makes it harder for Americans who work hard to get

Tim Waters of the United Steelworkers would not disclose the players or their schools, saying it was too early to reveal who they are. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) seems to feel the need to shill for left-wing cable news network MSNBC. The network is usually recognized as the least popular of the big three cable news networks, often earning the lowest ratings of the three. In his quest to destroy the legal right of center-right donors to advocate for political causes, Reid deployed his Twitter account to shill for MSNBC´s Joy Reid, host of the network´s The Reid Report. "Watch @JoyAnnReid discuss the Koch Brothers. She tells it like it is," Sen. Reid tweeted on April 4. Over the last few years

A federal proposal requiring more efficiency from wood-burning stoves has ignited a debate between the Obama administration and lawmakers who oppose the new regulations, arguing the rules impose an unfair burden on people in remote areas. The Environmental Protection Agency proposed a rule changes in January that would dramatically tighten emissions requirements on new wood-powered heaters, though does not impact ones already in homes. The EPA estimates that as much as 13 percent of all soot pollution in the U.S. is a result of inefficient wood-fired stoves and boilers. The dispute pits several mostly urban states, mainly in the northeast,

Top Obama aide Valerie Jarrett recently granted an interview to a celebrity-gossip website called Popsugar and revealed why she had come to Hollywood. “I´m meeting with writers of various TV shows and movies to try to get it into the scripts.” The “it” is Obamacare. Conservatives are no match for liberals in this arena. The White House people know the immense cultural power the Left has in the popular culture. Liberals rightly credit TV and movies and pop songs for America’s growing support for gay “marriage.” So why not use that power for Obamacare? Jarrett told the Popsugar crew that

The first to open fire was an unknown gunman from the alley, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said. People running back into the apartment building from the back porch were confronted by a man at the front door who also opened fire, he said. One of the six, a 24-year-old man, died from a head wound

Problems getting judges confirmed by the Senate have been a constant complaint for this White House — but this week, President Barack Obama’s aides are celebrating a confirmation count that outpaces President George W. Bush’s. They’ve had that goal on their minds for over a year, ever since chief of staff Denis McDonough and counsel Kathy Ruemmler reprioritized judicial nominations for Obama’s second term. John Owens, confirmed Monday to the Ninth Circuit, along with Edward Smith and Gerald McHugh, who confirmed to the district court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania last week, put them over the top. The State Department has no idea what happened to $6 billion used to pay its contractors. In a special “management alert” made public Thursday, the State Department’s Inspector General Steve Linick warned “significant financial risk and a lack of internal control at the department has led to billions of unaccounted dollars over the last six years. The alert was just the latest example of the federal government’s continued struggle with oversight over its outside contractors. The lack of oversight “exposes the department to significant financial risk,” the auditor said. “It creates conditions conducive to fraud, as corrupt individuals may attempt

In his opening statement during highly anticipated testimony Wednesday on Benghazi, former CIA deputy director Michael Morell claimed to be an intelligence professional who was willing to lay out the facts -- no matter how damaging. "The ethical code under which intelligence officers carry out their responsibilities calls for total objectivity." But Morell´s own testimony would appear to undercut that

A triumphant President Barack Obama declared Tuesday his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better´ in a Rose Garden press conference. But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night.

Coulter, however, wishes otherwise. “Well, don´t tell him but I´m planning on giving Mitt Romney a little more time to rest -- flying out, kidnapping him and depriving him of sleep, food and

According to a report via BuzzFeed’s Evan McMorris-Santoro, President Barack Obama requested the opportunity to address the nation in prime time on the major broadcast networks on Tuesday night to announce that the Affordable Care Act had reached 7 million enrollees. Those networks did not, however, accommodate the White House’s request. “Three sources familiar with the request confirmed the White House asked for the prime time slot in their effort both to emphasize a bright moment following the challenging roll out and, more important, to try to reintroduce the country to a law that remains unpopular,”

President Barack Obama contended that the government did not “make a hard sell” for Obamacare, despite his administration spending nearly $700 million to promote the law. “We didn’t make a hard sell,” Obama said in the Rose Garden on Tuesday, praising the 7.1 million sign ups for the Affordable Care Act. “We didn’t have billions of dollars of commercials like some critics did.” However, last July the Associated Press reported that Obamacare’s marketing campaign would cost at least $684 million. Taxpayer funding went to all 50 states in efforts to encourage people to enroll, including nearly $28 million for the
