Pelosi Accuses GOP Of Lack
Of Concern For Kwanzaa

Breitbart TV, by Staff

"Is there not an appreciation for the Jewish holidays? The Christmas holiday? Kwanzaa? All the other things that families come together around? Bonding rituals important to the strength of our society? Do we not care about that? Well, the American people do. And they want to shop for it." - Wednesday, December 12, 2012, House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on the house floor

Comments:
Why should a senior member of Congress give a hoot about an artificially created "Holiday" invented by a self proclaimed Communist?

I certainly have no concern for Kwanzaa, other than comic relief.

I can only speak for myself, but for once Pelosi is correct. I have no concern or respect at all for this fake, made-up nonsense.

If a conservative white college professor had invented Christmas, I´m sure the democrats would not give it a second thought as well.

Kwanzaa (the extra ´A´ added for the coolness factor, per the inventor) is a made up, trumped up, socialist farce that very few American blacks even observe. It offends the heck out of me to see Kwanzaa stamps.

Thank God, I needed a good laugh this morning.

Pelosi is correct about this issue.

I´d rather celebrate Festivus (sp) than Kwanzaa.

Reply 9 - Posted by: Flipper3, 12/13/2012 11:15:03 AM     (No. 9063428)

No, no, Nancy. I am concerned. I am concerned that a holiday dreamt up by a fat sadist (convicted felon Maulana Kerenga, aka Ronald Everett), and based firmly upon racist principles, is being shoved simultaneously down the throats and up the rear ends of the American people, by the likes of you.

Reply 10 - Posted by: whyyeseyec, 12/13/2012 11:17:48 AM     (No. 9063435)

Pelosi is playing the race card. What exactly is y-o-u-r concern for Kwanzaa, Naggy? What is it you want the GOP to do about this phony holiday?

Actually, never mind. I don`t care about Kwanzaa or Pelosi.

Reply 11 - Posted by: O.S. Banker, 12/13/2012 11:18:19 AM     (No. 9063438)

Somebody should send this imbecile a copy of Ann Coulters column regarding the origins of Kwanzaa. Of course it will have to be altered to appear to come from Terri Gross or Garrison Keillor to insure that Ms. Pelosi would deign to read it.

Reply 12 - Posted by: skedaddle, 12/13/2012 11:24:41 AM     (No. 9063447)

True story - leftist white co-worker asked a black co-worker what her family did for Kwanzaa. The black woman hadn´t heard of Kwanzaa and upon hearing it described said "That´s just nonsense. I celebrate Christmas and I´m not spending another dime on anything else!" And then she dumped on the MLK Jr. holiday for being a stupid day off in the middle of January after we´d all just been through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year´s. I´d say more white people are concerned about Kwanzaa than there are blacks celebrating it. And Pelosi can´t even pronounce it.

"And they want to shop for it" - Pelosi

Ah, the Trayon Martin "hoodie" complete with presidential seal, would be the perfect Kwanzaa gift for that bro of your dreams. Comes only in XXXL.

Or, if you want to show him you really care during Kwanzaa, then a gold "grille" for your favorite baby daddy. He´s sure to flash that smile right through to the day when you tell him that he´s the one, again.

Last but not least, she´ll love the O carrying case for her Obamaphone. The Obama "O" logo on the case is encrusted with rhinestones so she can easily find it in her purse. Convenient pocket holds up to 3 EBT cards or 4 voter registration IDs.

Sincerest apologies to black radical & FBI stooge, Ron Karenga, aka Dr. Maulana Karenga, the creator of this separatist holiday.

It speaks volumes to ´liberal intellect´ that they think the Constitution is imaginary and/or pliable, but Kwanzaa is real and based on something other than (as noted above), the hallucinations of a convicted black felon. I´d remind Nancy that ´conviction´ was for basically kidnapping and torturing females, but we all know how imaginary ´gender´ issues are in what passes for the mind of Pelosi...

Look for San Francisco to fabricate a ´gay black´ Festivus celebration in the next few years...

Of course this will done after I celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace with a rousing singing of Silent Night...Now which holiday could bring me all that I want in my life?

Nobody even heard about Kwanzaa until a number of years ago, why should anyone be concerned about Kwanzaa when nobody in the Dem party stands up for Christmas?

Reply 32 - Posted by: dr.lakerman, 12/13/2012 11:59:55 AM     (No. 9063524)

Karanga or however he spells his made up name, is a convicted felon who teaches black studies in a california college. I read his text, which is the basis for course content of black studies courses all over the U.S., and it is something else!
He first espouses collective action by blacks in every part of their lives. Even a landscape artist who is black, must somehow include a black theme, he says.
The several principles of kwanzaa are mostly marxist.
And when he was asked why he put a first harvest festival at a time of year when there is no first harvest going on anywhere in the world, he said, "because that´s when the blood be partyin...."
And our local paper, the Erie, Pa times news, will breathlessly report on each day of kwanzaa.
I scoff in derision.

Reply 34 - Posted by: St. Pitbull, 12/13/2012 12:02:00 PM     (No. 9063528)

kwanzaa is surprisingly like Festivus:
- it´s a made-up holiday
- there is a perpetual "Airing of Grievances" all year long, usually accompanied by Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.
- kwanzaa celebrants are awed by "Feats of Strength," where the most notable career aspiration of kwanzaa-ites is to be a professional athlete
- and the tendency of kwanzaa-ites to label easily explainable events as "Festivus miracles" - (e.g., the election of the Øtard)
- the "aluminum pole" most often gathered around is one where there is weed or crack in it.

Yes!!! kwanzaa = Festivus!

Pelosi needs to be more concerned with the murder rate, out of wedlock rate and the inability of most blacks to acquire a basic high school education then she does the faux Kwanzaa celebration.

Pelosi isn´t just a Demoncrap, she´s a MARYLAND Demoncrap! A member of the D´Alesandro tribe, whose father and brother both were highly esteemed in Maryland Demoncrap circles, Nan got much higher up the food chain than anyone could have expected.
Her concern about kwanzaa is in keeping with the Demoncrap technique to focus on any flappery or shiney object that keeps America´s attention away from the very real, and potentially fatal problems swirling around us.

In the old days we knew what an a**hole was. A**holes are now teaching and running everything into the ground because, like the guys who never needed landing instructions and crashed their stolen jet planes into the twin towers, these people are not trained to finish anything successfully. Their talent is to p*** you to get your attention. So a**holes get off on seeing stuff like this in print and watching some republicans wonder if she could be serious. She isn´t, it makes her happy to think you´re dumb. In the old days the only appropriate comment by a reporter to such a statement would have been -- after staring her down and making her cry for wasting his time -- "Geez, that´s something an a**hole would say. Even the blacks don´t care. Say, we´ve got deadlines lady. How about telling our readers why you guys think you can destroy America." But there are no reporters. There are no questions. There are only stolen elections, dictators at the controls of all the machinery, and many many nice republicans scared she might have a point -- as far as the eye can see.

The univ. president asked "where´s the Kawanzaa stuff"?

My wife looked around but couldn´t find any items (the previous univ. prez was african-american who´d been to Obama´s innaugeration). So, we went to the craft stores, and none to be found. Even asked store clerk (who is black) and she had puzzled look on her face.

No culture on Earth celebrates Kwanzaa. Not even in Africa.
It didn´t originate in anyone´s culture - as has been widely pointed out it was dreamed up by a violent radical black Communist.
It is specifically and deliberately anti-Christian, and was made up to replace Christmas.
The Democrats and Independents also lack concern for Kwanzaa, and rightly so.
Nobody but the barest radical fringe - and pranksters - purchase Kwanzaa gifts, and I suspect the jokers are the larger market.

NOBODY CARES ABOUT Kwanzaa except black separatist racist and Nancy Pelosi.

There is no Kwanzaa in Africa because Kwanzaa is a fraudulent and stolen "holiday"...making it the perfect holiday for democrats and black racist in America.

The made up holiday and its tennants were stolen from the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) manifesto (anti-american terrorists, murderers and robbers who kidnapped Patty Hearst). The Kawanzaa creator is an affirmative action criminal and black separatist "Professor" Ronald McKinley Everett. Everett changed his name during the black power 60´s to Maulana Karenga, joined "Us" and charged with murder, robbery, rape, assault and kidnapping. Snitched for the FBI and ratted out Black Panther members to reduce his prison time. Upon release from jail was awarded honorary degrees and stated Kawanzaa "a social change organization which means "Us Black people" in protest of the white man´s Christmas...and admired by black separatist racist, Rev. Wright and his affirmative action church member Barack Obama.

Also, the reason this crap is taught in school is because it is a "social" holiday...not a religious holiday.

Swollen headed marxists like this one are merely power mad, greedy, and hell bound. It has nothing to do about you, except they want to control all people, like Satan has put into their hearts.
I could stand a little diversity these days, like having a house fall on her, like the witch she resembles, from the Wizard of Oz. Now that would give true, holiday delight! Would love to watch that on youtube! Obama just likes to see the top of her head, while she pays her respects to his little bishop.

Happy Kwanzaa and Merry Festivus to all and to all a good night.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Los Angeles — Some people have had it with TV. They´ve had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don´t like timing their lives around network show schedules. They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. (Snip) Last month, the Nielsen Co. started labeling people in this group "Zero TV" households, because they fall outside the traditional definition of a TV home. There are 5 million of these residences in the U.S., up from

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Neurosurgeon Ben Carson, considered by some to be a potential Republican contender for president, apologized to Johns Hopkins University for the "poorly chosen words" he used in expressing his opposition to gay marriage last month.“I am sorry for any embarrassment this has caused,” Carson said in the letter, reported in New York Magazine.(Snip) "Although I do believe marriage is between a man and a woman, there are much less offensive ways to make that point. I hope all will look at a lifetime of service over some poorly chosen words.” Carson will remain as commencement speaker at Johns Hopkins,

Susan Patton, the Princeton alumna who became famous for her letter urging Ivy League women to use their college years to find a mate, has been denounced as a traitor to feminism, to coeducation, to the university ideal. But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.

Beyonce and Jay-Z celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Cuba this week. The couple, who married on April 4, 2008, took in the sights of Old Havana, visited a school, dined on a rooftop terrace and strolled the fan-filled streets in their island best.(snip).The power couple declined to answer journalists´ questions about their visit to the island nation, but some outlets are reporting that the moguls are there as tourists, though that would be illegal because of the half-century embargo the U.S. has on the Communist country. However, the Miami Herald said Washington has issued special licenses for
