At what point can we say something smells fishy?

Yes, the story is beginning to sound fishy.

The media didn´t learn a thing getting Diana killed. They go so far overboard it is disgusting. Let Kate enjoy what she can of her pregnancy. I don´t need to see or read of every move she´s made or food she´s eaten or not eaten.

As for the nurse, my first thought was "yeah, right, suicide...."

Fishy indeed!....She only spoke on the phone for 6 seconds, and simply transferred the call....She gave out no information.

Pranking, the use of mischievous tricks or practical jokes, has been with us since one of our caveman forebears invented the whoopee rock. Granted, this first effort was not all that efficient, but everyone sitting around the fire probably had a good laugh anyway. Today, all of us sitting around the modern fireplaces called Television and Youtube are presented with a multitude of pranks recorded for our entertainment.

Clearly, the Australian DJs had no intention of hurting anyone when they pranked the hospital and they are certainly upset and remorseful at their prank´s sad outcome, but they simply ran aground on the actuarial table that shows that, out of every 100,000 pranks committed, someone is going to get seriously injured or dead. The DJs may have provided the last incremental push in this young nurse´s decision to take her own life, but they are not responsible for her death. And the Aussie authorities that are gathering around to punish the DJs and their radio station are simply ignoring reality in order to show off their own rectitude and righteousness.

I´ve read a couple of pieces on this deal and really don´t know WHAT happened . Something definitely screwy here .

Kate´s nurse who gave out the private information about her condition to the DJ´s probably assumed that since the call had been put through to her by the nurse/receptionist it had been cleared as a genuine call from the Queen. It most likely is hospital procedure that calls are screened by the nurse answering the phone, so when it was transferred to Kate´s floor nurse it was to be accepted and answered. That would be why Jacintha Saldanha put the blame on herself.

According to relatives over there, many are seeing thru the drama the media has created. The woman had evidently had mental problems which a reporter stated the second day. My SIL heard them say it herself. Then it was scrubbed from all subsequent coverage. Very sorry for the family. Everyone is sorry. However, paying off her family, top politicians grovelling is way way overboard.

Injuries to her wrists. Hmmm. That seems odd to me. How would that happen if you hang yourself?

There is other news happening. Can we leave these people alone ?
