Susan Rice’s Personality ´Disorder´
Daily Beast, by Lloyd Grove

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 12/13/2012 4:47:18 AM

Susan Rice, the United States ambassador to the United Nations and President Obama’s most visible candidate to replace Hillary Clinton as secretary of state, is being subjected to an immutable law of the Washington power grid: in the rough and tumble of political combat, personality trumps policy. Government policy, especially foreign policy, is rife with nuance and complication. But personality is easier to grasp and harder to shed. Recent critiques of Rice’s influence on U.S. diplomacy in Rwanda, Sudan, and Eritrea over the past two decades are endlessly debatable among think-tank elites.

Lloyd Grove should stick with lightweight gossip. She has not had a "brilliant career". It has been full of serious mistakes and yet pal Obie has pulled her along. Of course.

Having a nasty personality, being known for having a foul mouth, do not seem like qualities that would work for someone in the #1 diplomatic position in the United States. That´s the personality part.

Having made serious errors in judgement in the past is the business part. She is not intellectually equipped to be secretary of state. Or maybe she too just doesn´t like the United States?

Frankly I can hardly stomach hearing more about Susan Rice and her " brilliant career" or her gazillions of dollars. These thugs running our lives are laughing their a-- off that Americans are so stupid as to give them 4 more years to rape and pillage our country!

"Temperament" is not just Beltway jargon. Rice seems to be an overbearing prig, to use an old phrase. While she has strong academic credentials and is praised by a high school mentor, she come across as a know-it-all and full of herself.

Her atrocious handling of whatever she touched as Asst SoS in the Clinton era disqualifies her, particularly not pushing Clinton to address Rwanda genocide, which he says was the one area where he said he failed.

Even Kerry would be better, and that´s saying a lot.

Considering we have become the nation of We the Minorities, of and for Minorities, you hae to be amazed that Jay Carney has his job.

Susan Rice demonstrates an academic who knows nothing about the real world. She´s the female version of Obama.

But she´s ´of color´ so qualifications don´t really matter as much as the appearance that she should have the job, ´just ´cuz´.

2043..... right around the epochal corner.

And if your looking for a nasty piece of work, just consider who Obama is considering for the Court of St James.

Liberal ideology IS the main personality disorder. Being sneering, rude, condescending, insufferably priggish are all side effects. Just look around from Bill Maher to the ultimate One.

I see good Old Lloyd is still trying to sell the "she was only reporting on the best intelligence available at that time" meme. Aside from her personality, which is condescending and nasty, she is a pathplogical liar. There is no way any semi-coherent person could buy the idea that she did not know she was lying when she became the face of the Obama administration for all things Benghazi.

Zippy and his fictional WOT success narrative had to be protected, and most certainly protected in the run up to the election. To him, she is a fine loyal soldier who is taking one for the team in terms of the harm to her career path. To us, she appears to be a lying lackey, deserving of only our disdain.

When you have liberals take over this is the best and the brightest, bird or no bird. Look at the recent dis-appointments. Kagan and her zero judicial experience, one Senator that did sicko sex skits on SNL, another Senator thinks he fought in the jungles of Vietnam, another Senator-elect that poses as an American Indian that even the Indians denounce, and a Senator that hires an illegal sex offender but gets away with it because the FBI delays the arrest from the public. And each Democrat gets a pass by the media we no longer watch. The advertisers for these media circuses must know that no one is watching their 30 second multi-million dollar ad buys.

1. I can´t agree with any who say, "let Obama appoint whomever he wants and take the consequences."

The consequences fall on us, and worse, on our kids. I think we owe them very breath of opposition to Obama we can draw. In a great stain on our history, Obama will likely escape anything and everything remotely resembling a just consequence.

2. A "prig" does not "g[i]ve the finger to her colleague Richard Holbrooke during a... high-level meeting.

"Prig" a. A person who demonstrates an exaggerated conformity or propriety, especially in an irritatingly arrogant or smug manner. b. a person who displays or demands of others pointlessly precise conformity, fussiness about trivialities, or exaggerated propriety, especially in a self-righteous or irritating manner. c. Synonyms: prude, puritan, bluenose.

Emphasis added.

No, not a "prig."

One of the lame networks just broke into a program with "breaking news" that she has voluntarily withdrawn her consideration for Secretary of State. I wouldn´t be so sure it was all her decision alone. Letting her announce her own withdrawal might be a soft way of letting Bamster off the hook and avoids outright, overt rejection of the candidate. Wink wink Bamster.

In more than a decade of campaigns for the California Legislature, San Francisco mayor and secretary of state, state Sen. Leland Yee raised in excess of $5 million. Yet it was a campaign debt only a fraction of that amount that federal officials allege pulled the veteran politician into a sprawling sting operation. The 137-page FBI affidavit against Yee and more than 20 other defendants says the San Francisco Democrat’s focus on retiring a $70,000 campaign debt from his unsuccessful 2011 mayor’s race and raising money for his 2014 candidacy for secretary of state led him to accept bribes in return

Last week, the FBI received a lot of attention and praise from conservative sources for finally eliminating the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) from its website’s list of “hate crimes” resources. However, while a headline at Breitbart says the FBI “dumps [SPLC] as hate crimes resource,” and an article at The Daily Caller said the FBI was “breaking ties” with the SPLC, a public statement from the FBI and the agency’s own website indicate the removal may mean just that — removal from the site, not a diminishing of the relationship between the two organizations. A National Labor Relations Board official has given the green light to Northwestern University football players to form a union. The Puente Hills thrust fault, which brought Friday night’s magnitude-5.1 quake centered in La Habra and well over 100 aftershocks by Sunday, stretches from northern Orange County under downtown Los Angeles into Hollywood — a heavily populated swath of the Los Angeles area. The media buzz would be red hot on this topic for days extending into weeks. Well, there is such a person but because he is a Democrat saying these things about President Obama, we can expect

Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a behind-the-scenes campaign to draft former Florida governor Jeb Bush into the 2016 presidential race, courting him and his intimates and starting talks on fundraising strategy. Concerned that the George Washington Bridge traffic scandal has damaged New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s political standing and alarmed by the steady rise of Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), prominent donors, conservative leaders and longtime operatives say they consider Bush the GOP’s brightest hope to win back the White House.

A "vast majority" of Mitt Romney donors, establishment pooh-bahs, and an anti-conservative consultant who is the epitome of permanent political class want former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to run for president in 2016. Bush was in Las Vegas this week meeting with Sheldon Adelson, and, according to the Post, "many if not most of 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney’s major donors are reaching out to Bush and his confidants with phone calls, e-mails and invitations to meet." One bundler even said that a "vast majority” of "Romney’s top 100 donors would back Bush." The Post also noted that in the meantime "Bush’s

If Betsey McCaughey is correct (and I bet she is, because she has not only read the entire ObamaCare bill, she has written a book about it), Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan publicly humiliated herself during the oral arguments on the Hobby Lobby case, revealing that she either did not read the law, or failed to comprehend it if she did so. Writing in the New York Sun, McCaughey lays out what is wrong with the Justice’s declaration about Obamacare: she asserted that the statute itself mandates provision of birth control. Not one word in the Affordable Care Act guarantees health plans will cover birth control products.

I have no objections to Jeb Bush running for president. He obviously has a wide appeal as a potential candidate. (Snip) His support of Common Core, however, will also find many who are in the conservative ranks objecting, since they fear that Common Core represents educational centralism and having the government ram federal standards down their throats. What I do object to is that Bush is already being heralded as the obvious candidate, the man to whom the big money must and will flow. As the Washington Post reports: Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a

President Bill Clinton´s guilty conscience over his affair with Monica Lewinsky – and a desire to repair his shattered reputation by using the State of the Union address – set his speechwriters an unenviable task, newly released archive papers reveal. The former president appeared to be trying to butter up his wife, Hillary Clinton, out of guilt – or perhaps to fool her – before the scandal broke. And he was determined to try to convince the American public afterwards that he was still of a high moral character. The latest batch of documents from the Clinton Library covering his presidency in the

Former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey thinks President Barack Obama, a fellow Democrat, was re-elected in 2012 because he ´sucked less´ than former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. The Nebraskan straight-talker told MailOnline in an exclusive interview that Obama isn´t up to the job of bringing liberals and conservatives to the table to rescue America´s slowly choking entitlement programs. And Obama, he said Wednesday in his Manhattan office, knew full well he was lying when he promised that the Affordable Care Act would allow Americans to keep insurance plans they liked. ´He had to know he was misleading the audience,´ Kerrey said

YOKOHAMA, Japan — Climate change is already having sweeping effects on every continent and throughout the world’s oceans, scientists reported Monday, and they warned that the problem is likely to grow substantially worse unless greenhouse emissions are brought under control. The report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations group that periodically summarizes climate science, concluded that ice caps are melting, sea ice in the Arctic is collapsing, water supplies are coming under stress, heat waves and heavy rains are intensifying, coral reefs are dying, and fish and many other creatures are migrating toward the poles or

A National Labor Relations Board official has given the green light to Northwestern University football players to form a union. The March 26 decision by the NLRB´s Chicago regional director, Peter Sung Ohr, held that scholarship football players are "employees" for purposes of federal labor law. Ohr rejected the longstanding view of Northwestern and the National Collegiate Athletic Association that players are "student-athletes" rather than employees. While Ohr´s decision is hardly the final word on this issue, it does accelerate the legal and political battle against the NCAA and its century-old amateurism rules. Is Football Academic? President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security caught then released 68,000 aliens who had previously been convicted of a crime, a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies shows. The report, provided to Breitbart News ahead of its late Sunday evening release, reviews internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) metrics to conclude that the Obama administration released 35 percent—or 68,000—convicted criminal aliens back into the U.S. general population when they could have been deported. (Snip) In response to these findings from CIS that follow up on his office’s report last week, Sessions said immigration law in America has essentially ceased to

Ronan Farrow’s MSNBC talk show is facing cancellation amid poor ratings, sources exclusively tell Confidenti@l.Farrow, 28 — the opinionated, blue-eyed son of actress Mia Farrow and either Woody Allen or Frank Sinatra (even Farrow’s not sure which) — has been a disaster for MSNBC. The channel took the frequent cable-show guest and handed him his own program, “Ronan Farrow Daily,” which premiered in late February. The theory was that Farrow, a Rhodes scholar who graduated college when he was 15 and went on to score degrees from Yale and Oxford, would bring his 245,000 Twitter followers with him to television

Today sees the release of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change´s (IPCC) latest findings on the state of "global warming" and the news isn´t good. Here are some of the highlights: Giant malarial mosquitoes the size of crane flies may descend en masse and drain us of our blood so quickly with their powerful razor sharp probosces that we won´t even have time to be infected - we´ll be dead before we hit the floor; Bangladesh, Tuvalu, The Maldives and Florida will all be submerged; Four horsemen with skulls for faces, glowing red eyes and huge scythes will gallop across
