I replay a historic quote from Alexander the Great to the ancient spartans. When Alexander the great invaded greece,sent a message to Sparta to the effect of "You are advised to submit immediately, for if I win this war, I will destroy your people and all you have." The Spartan reply was "If".

Just like gasoline prices, both parties love the high prices, for different reasons. In this case, both parties are (IMHO) looking forward to the brink of disaster quickly looming before our nation. Each side has amazingly ignorant, childish and - well, moronic, suggestions for solutions that are more like catching snowflakes on your tongue as a solution to avoid a bilzzard. It seems to me they both realize this is not going to resolve into anything but a gigantic economic Armageddon and no one can do a thing about it- so the game here is to maneuver for getting the other party to take the blame for it. The nation be damned, the people are no longer relevant. The future is so dark it can no longer be considered.

the right what Boehner will do.
Specifically to keep the right riled up and the Republican party divided.
Their plan works perfectly because many pundits , radio hosts and posters take the bait and spend time attacking
each other and
Boehner rather than attacking Obama.
ABC had a headline that read Obama says Boehner
" will cave ".
But, in the story , the quotes were much milder like
" agreement and cooperation " rather than cave.
But, cave is specifically used to elicit the result the media wants.

for something he hasn´t done.

#11. Why is everything black or white? Dumping Boehner does NOT mean getting Pelosi. Republicans are the majority, and the MAJORITY leader will be Republican.
What is important to consider is that although Boehner was sent to the House by Ohio, his actions affect every American. As such, we ALL have the right to point out errors in judgement made by Boehner. We control the House, but we do NOT have strong leadership there.

Two-thirds of Democrats now believe Obama´s health care reforms will either hurt them personally or have no effect on their daily lives, a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows. In comparison, just 27 percent of Democratic respondents said the reforms would help them. The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.
