Boehner faces ouster
threats within GOP

Washington Times, by David Sherfinski

House Speaker John A. Boehner is facing increasing pressure as several rebellious Republicans hinted that they won’t vote to re-elect him to run the chamber, and a conservative interest group announced a bid to recruit someone else to run against him for the speakership. Mr. Boehner, an Ohio Republican, is not in any danger yet — the rebellion shows no signs of reaching beyond a small group of dissatisfied lawmakers — but it could complicate his efforts to strike a deal with President Obama to head off the looming “fiscal cliff” that will send tax rates soaring

No. 2 was nicer to the GOP than I was. I got an "urgent appeal" from the RNC and tossed it in the garbage without bothering to reply.
I contributed to the RNC and the Romney Campaign, and they p___ed by money away. I´ll wait until they have a candidate worth backing.

Spineless, bloated face Tax Raising Traitor Boehner. How could we be worse off? Our recently elected Tea Party patriots (or are they?) say nothing, sit there numb in total silence while mob boss betrays Boehner all of America, the Constitution and his responsibiltie to whatever is left of the republocrats party. Let´s face there is nobody running around the halls of Congress screaming their bloddy heads off angrier than they have ever been. That would be normal, but hey, they all accept creeping Communism because they are all on the inside
Boehner, Congress, proteced by Diane Sawyer;
it´s a complete and unneecessary nightmare.
With uniformly Communist Party Line words and almost an entire media conforming to the Party Line, it is time to take it back!

I told an NRC caller last week that they can put us on their "do not call" list, as I am resigning from the GOP. I told her that Boehner´s deal-making with Obama -- taking conservatives off committees was the final straw. The moderate candidates they have supported & forced on us was the beginning.

You gotta wonder how many people are telling them this.

Boner would be a goner. After a about two or three months demand a revote and throw her sorry butt out again and put in another speaker with the caution that he or she sticks to the party line or they get the boot too.

Boehner is a terrible negotiator. Rule 7. Do not negotiate on your opponent´s home ground. If you cannot meet on your home ground, insist on a neutral place. What does Boehner do - he goes to the White House for a Secret Meeting. This guy obviously knows nothing about negotiating.

You all haven´t heard it all yet. There´s a liberal scheme in the works to print two platinum dollars, declare they´re worth a trillion dollars each, put them in the fed reserve and use them as backing for a humongous print job. It´s a way around fighting over a debt limit increase.

The left needs a voracious amount of money to prop up their house of cards and need even more now to prop up the failed arab spring scam.

Wall St. fat cats are bemoaning that their bonuses will be smaller this year. Oh boohoo, this is what led to the TARP bailout. They wouldn´t get a bonus at all if they did honest accounting.Somehow, creative accounting allows them to keep toxic assets off the balance sheets.

the gov´t is spending $3.5 trillion a year,Bernake´s QE´s have pumped billions more and the economy still sucks and the reason is the real job creators are in Obama´s cross hairs.

The left hates a consumer driven economy yet they now think flooding people with money will improve the economy and it´s failing because the money is going to people who don´t need it.

I am hoping that there are some principled Republicans that are really working to get Bonehead out. It´s hard to tell what is really going on. But we can´t afford any going along with Obama´s plans. If they really were ludicrous as Bonehead originally said, then he should not be meeting with Zippy in private. He would already know Zippy is NOT serious about fixing the economy.

And, PS: for those getting mailers from the GOP asking for $$$ --
1. Carefully open the envelope.

3.Carefully stuff all the sheets back in the prepaid ´return´ envelope.
4. Seal & mail envelope back to the GOP.

They abandoned Michele Bachmann, I donated to her personally. They abandoned Allen West. They hate us tea party conservatives. They´re getting an earful, on their dime.

A three-minute video of Sarah Merkle’s testimony about Maryland’s new gun legislation has drawn more than 2 million views on YouTube, won her praise from gun rights advocates across the country and even scored her an interview on national television last week. But the 15-year-old from Baltimore said she cares more about her message. “The biggest part of this is that the pro-gun, Second Amendment argument is getting publicity,” she said. “I like that it actually got out there, and not just because it’s me, but because it’s the argument.”

A growing number of senators are trying to quash gun legislation before it even hits the chamber floor as Democrats hold out hope for a compromise and the White House gears up for a weeklong offensive to pressure Congress to act. Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America, said as many as 13 senators now publicly support a filibuster on the motion to proceed on pending gun legislation, which effectively would block debate on the bill. “When you’re in a snake pit, you kill a snake any time and chance that you get,”

President Obama won rare foreign policy praise from Republicans for his administration’s handling of the North Korea crisis, as China signaled a possible readiness to play a more active role in pressuring Pyongyang away from provoking a military conflict. Two influential Republicans commended the White House on separate news talk shows Sunday for striking an effective balance by allowing senior Cabinet members to issue cautionary remarks in response to North Korea, while also strategically adjusting the U.S. military posture in the region. “This administration’s acted responsibly,” said Sen. The world’s greatest deliberative body has started to look a lot like its legislative little brother over the past few years. The Senate was once regarded as the home of the great political orators of the time — not to mention the body where true dealmaking actually took place. Its members prided themselves on their cool approach to legislating, in contrast with the more brawling nature of the House. Senators, generally, liked one another — no matter their party — and weren’t afraid to show it, either personally or politically. No longer. The Senate has undergone a marked transformation

Prospects for a bipartisan deal to expand federal background checks for gun purchases are improving with the emergence of fresh Republican support, according to top Senate aides. The possibility that after weeks of stalled negotiations senators might be on the cusp of a breakthrough comes as President Obama and his top surrogates will begin on Monday their most aggressive push yet to rally Americans around his gun-control agenda. Even though polls show that a universal background-check system is supported by nine in 10 Americans, the president has been unable to translate popular support

On the matter of the president and Kamala Harris, I could go either way. I could write a column — call it Classic Feminist High Dudgeon — lamenting the president’s comments about the California attorney general’s good looks. This column would discuss the continuing, albeit more subtle, discrimination against women in the workplace. It would explain how, even if unintentionally, Obama’s reference to Harris’s attractiveness is demeaning — that it serves, in the apologetic words of White House press secretary Jay Carney, “to diminish the attorney general’s professional accomplishments and her capabilities.” It would, inevitably, invoke the president’s daughters

He’s a smart, young former Army Ranger — good qualities for any aspiring politician. Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. Carbon emissions in the US were at their lowest level in 2012 since 1994, according to figures released by the US Energy Information Administration. We did it partly because of decreased economic activity as a result of the Obama recovery-that-isn’t, but mostly because of good old fashioned market forces; competition between natural gas and coal: Energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in 2012 were the lowest in the United States since 1994

Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church.
