I tried to watch that interview. Peter Schiff makes so much sense, but the Lefty/Liberal/Progressive would not shut his trap so that discussion points could be made. He did what all the Leftists do, talked over Peter when it was not his turn to talk. The Left is just filled with evil propagandists.

Yes, Peter, they absolutely do have the right to steal your money. It´s the fatal flaw of democracy, and the tipping point just occurred this past election. De Tocqueville predicted it. John Adams predicted it. Benjamin Franklin and even Winston Churchill commented on it.
Too bad Romney made an intemperate comment that was made public, but it is the truth. Over half the population are total losers and takers, or are in the government bureaucrat / lawyer / media class that thrives on the expansion of the loser class.

Everyone needs to realize that the increased taxes are NOT indexed. Does everyone remember all of the QE programs? LOTS of money has been printed. It´s not really in circulation yet because the banks have borrowed newly printed money from the Fed (@ 0%) and invested it in gov´t bonds. It´s not a huge spread - but when you borrow at 0% - it´s pure profit.
Anyway, once that money starts leeching into the economy, we´re going to have BIG inflation. $100,000 will be the new $30,000. A whopping big tax increase for everyone. Bank on it!

There is a moral dimension to this problem. The idea has become fashionable that certain people (insert your favorite hated target group such as "the rich", or "the jews", or "the whites") are intrinsically evil and "deserve" to be treated violently, whether that violence is in the form of economic confiscation, or through other levels of violence. The end game is the ultimate violence, namely to murder the hated other. The 20th century was a vivid example of this principle, with high-sounding "philosophies" ("Marxism-Leninism", "National Socialism", and the like) being used. This process appears to be continuing in the present century, aided by the vast increase in technical means to control populations. Read "Lethal Politics" (R. J. Rummel) and "Murderous Science" (Benno Muller-Hill) to see what may be in prospect for the human race.

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has permanently revoked the federal firearms license of East Windsor, Conn., gun store owner David LaGuercia, whose shop reportedly sold guns used in the Newtown school massacre and a second Connecticut mass shooting. ATF spokeswoman Deb Seifert told The Journal News on Thursday that she could not be more specific on the reasons LaGuercia’s license was revoked. An autopsy on Shain Gandee, a cast member of the MTV reality show Buckwild, showed he died of carbon monoxide poisoning, the Kanawha County sheriff’s department said yesterday. The deaths of Gandee, 21, his uncle David Gandee, 48, and friend Donald Robert Myers, 27, on Monday morning were ruled accidental after coroners completed the autopsies.(Snip) The truck was found after the MTV star was reported missing by family members after a late-night session in a local bar.

The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.
