| Hillary Clinton may be stepping away from her role as Secretary of State, but that doesn´t mean that she is leaving political optics behind. As she transitions from public life to the role of a private citizen, Mrs Clinton will have to make some very delicate decisions about her immediate actions as she mulls whether or not she will run for president in 2016. According to multiple reports, Mrs Clinton has echoed her denials of plans to run for office in both private and public, but that doesn´t mean that she can just go ahead and truly let loose

Hillary will auction off the rights to publish her next book, about her time as Secretary of State, and will get an advance north of ten million dollars. And there will be a movie involved, to boost her chances in 2016. I must say that I am amused at the moneygrubbing on the part of Bill and Hillary. Remember back in the 1990s, when Bill said money was not important to him, how he wore a timex watch, and ate at mcdonald´s? At least President Zero is straightforward about his greed, as is Michelle...

The Clintons acquired a lot of their money from all the fundraising for the doublewide library in Little Rock. They have never really been honest about where the money came from. And the post presidential speeches he gave for millions.
Remember when the press slammed Reagan for doing the same? Turns out though that Reagan was doing it to provide for Nancy because he knew he was ill. (my theory anyway) Maybe Clinton gave Hilary money for her interest in their Westchester NY home?

A Golden Globe for appearing on numerous talk shows and and numerous Emmys for best guest of the year on ellen, oprah, katie, dateline and sixty minutes. And, don´t forget, she should still be awarded a Purple Heart for coming under fire in Bosnia.

Why buy a home with post-tax dollars that you earned? Why not purchase it with payola that you´ve laundered through the a "non-profit" foundation...no taxes, no sweat, the foundation owns the place (no real-estate taxes, no inheritance tax when you die). Just say´n..the Clinton Foundation is a giant tax dodge and money laundering scheme. I would love to see the "books" and know how much money is squirreled away, who provided the money, what the foundation actually "spends", what it spends it on, and what properties it owns, and who gets to use it.....

As he continues guiding the Senate toward eventual consideration of proposals to curb gun violence, Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) invoked his father’s suicide Tuesday as he once again pleaded with Republicans not to block legislation under consideration. During his morning remarks on the Senate floor, Reid recalled receiving a 12-gauge shotgun ordered from a Sears catalog for his 12th birthday and made reference to incidents of gun violence in his home state of Nevada, including the 2010 shooting at a Las Vegas federal building. He also noted that as a young state legislator, he sponsored a bill

He won a second term, but Barack Obama isn’t done fund-raising. The president will appear at a cozy reception for fewer than 65 guests with tickets priced at $32,400 per couple at the Manhattan home of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and his designer wife Georgina Chapman on May 13, Page Six has exclusively learned. The invitation explains attendees get “a frank and intimate discussion with the president” where they can ask questions, and afterward Obama will “say thank you to each guest and take a photo with them.” A Weinstein-hosted fundraiser in August brought out

A homeless man, oblivious to President Obama’s passing motorcade, took BB gun practice in the nearby woods and refused to drop his weapon when confronted by Connecticut cops, officials said today. Obama was speaking yesterday at the University of Hartford when police, stationed along the president’s route to Bradley International Airport, heard noises coming from a nearby wooded area around 5:50 p.m., said Bloomfield police Capt. Stephen Hajdasz. A detective from the neighboring town of Simsbury ordered the man — identified as 27-year-old Joseph Stravinskas — to drop what appeared to be a rifle, according to Hajdasz.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.
