Has Divided America In a Way Not

Robert F. Kennedy Jr said of Fox News Friday, "It´s divided our country in a way that we haven´t been divided probably since the Civil War." This occurred during an online video interview with the Huffington Post (video follows with transcript and commentary): ROBERT F. KENNEDY JR: There’s two things happening. One is the influence of big money in politics, and the other is the right-wing control of the American media, particularly starting with Fox News. 95 percent of talk radio in our country is right-wing, and you need, according to Pew survey, and you, so a whole section of

How frustrating it must be not to be able to control everything with the writing of a check or the mere mention of your pedigree!

I guess Bobby Jr.´s new squeeze hasn´t become too inconvenient yet. Instead of arranging to off her somehow, he´s back spouting inane things at whoever will listen.

Have you noticed the abundance of civil war and slavery references by the left recently? Disgusting. Partisan and divisive politics by them. But as usual, they control society´s message and the average person thinks it is all the big-bad Republicans.

WE ARE DOOMED AS A SOCIETY FOLK!

It is the Democrats that are trying to move us to the far left into socialism. We just to keep free market freedom.

I guess that it would be too much for the GOP to point that out.

How troubling it must be to know beyond any doubt that you should rule and can´t.

Be patient, Robert, the way things are going you´ll be ruling soon enough.

Just need to let all those pesky old folks croak.

Then the world will be yours.

Then you can screw up anything and everything.

The next generations will loathe you and your ilk.

You are so deserving of that hate.

RFK Jr. might be happy living on a wind turbine island anchored in the Atlantic about 50 miles out, and in isolation. He should have a vegan food supply delivered once a year, courtesy of people who are grateful of his absence. All of his wisdom should be recorded, to be opened no sooner than one thousand years from the present.

This foully ignorant minute person is ignorant of the blazing reality that Civil War Democrats were the party of slavery, and that the Republicans were the party of Emancipation. This was a wholesome division.
The present division will also be wholesome when the latter-day "Republicans", and, better, Americans, realize that we have become Obamaland, and rise up in righteous revolt!

A pathetic, whiny embarrassment to his father´s legacy.

Didn´t always agree with RFK to be sure, but they don´t make Democrats like him any more, and haven´t a long time. There´s the possible exception of Joe Lieberman who was forced out in the 2002(?) Leftist coup and subsequent purge of the Democratic Party. RFK and JFK would have been purged, pronto. Teddy of course fathered the horrendous 1965 immigration law and god fathered ObamaCare and is a saint among the current Leftists running the party. It´s hard to calculate which of those two Ted Kennedy efforts have had a worse effect on this great nation. So far, immigration is the worst, but stay tuned.

RFK Jr. can still turn on NBC´s "Meet the Press" and see a four-to-one liberal-to-conservative ratio....

RFK Jr. can still turn on CBS´s "Face the Nation" and see a four-to-one liberal-to-conservative ratio....

RFK Jr. can still turn on ABC´s "This Week" and see a four-to-one liberal-to-conservative ratio....

RFK Jr. can still turn on CNN´s "State of the Union" and see a four-to-one liberal-to-conservative ratio....

RFK Jr. can still turn on PMSNBC and see the most disgraceful, dishonest political "reporting" in the history of the United States....

Fox News allows both Liberals and Conservatives on the air, in equal numbers, and allows the audience to decide as to which presented the most compelling arguments.

Poor, poor lil´ RFK Jr. Maybe he could lead the charge in getting big money out of politics by getting the entire Kennedy Clan out of politics!

These commies rely on the continued stupidification of Americans. America will get the RULERS which it deserves for possessing the IQ of a carrot. Mickey Rooney, the pint-sized actor who was one of MGM’s giant box office attractions in the late ’30s and early ’40s, died on Sunday. He was 93. As adept at comedy as drama and an excellent singer and dancer, Rooney was regarded as the consummate entertainer. During a prolific career on stage and screen that spanned eight decades (“I’ve been working all my life, but it seems longer,” he once said), he was nominated for four Academy Awards and received two special Oscars, the Juvenile Award in 1939 (shared with Deanna Durbin) and one in 1983 for his body of work.

Last week, news broke that a congressional candidate in Gainesville had a secret pastime: impersonating vampires. And superheroes. Some people would call this nutty. In Florida, we just call it Tuesday. Seriously, that´s not even our highest-profile vampire story. Remember the "vampire killings" from Lake County? Some of our stories are heartbreakingly tragic. But so many are also mind-numbingly strange. In Florida, we do weird the way Kansas does wheat. Here, giant pet snakes escape. And breed. And then invade our national parks. We have fish that eat people, alligators that eat people and people who eat people.

President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security caught then released 68,000 aliens who had previously been convicted of a crime, a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies shows. The report, provided to Breitbart News ahead of its late Sunday evening release, reviews internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) metrics to conclude that the Obama administration released 35 percent—or 68,000—convicted criminal aliens back into the U.S. general population when they could have been deported. San Jose, Calif. — A usually busy DMV office in San Jose was closed Friday after a motorist waiting to take a driver´s test crashed her car into the building and caused a gas leak. The driver declined to give her name but told KTVU she was nervous about taking the driver´s license tests because this would have been her third try. Around noon the line started to move but she said she hit the accelerator instead of the brake and rammed a motorcycle rider in front of her. Then, she said she swerved to try to avoid running over the rider and

President Obama says the thousands of Irish immigrants in the US are being denied opportunities because of the US strict immigration laws. The President was speaking the traditional Shamrock ceremony at the White House as part of the St Patrick´s Day celebrations. The issue of immigration reform was a priority for the Irish Government delegation, led by Enda Kenny. The delegation has been lobbying in Washington during the St Patrick´s Day trip for reforms to benefit the 50,000 undocumented Irish there. President Obama said too many undocumented Irish were denied the chance to contribute to society as they were not able to pay taxes

These are the 634 runways where the missing Malaysia Airlines plane could have landed after a potential hijacking. Today Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said investigators believe flight MH370´s disappearance is the result of ´deliberate action´ by someone on the plane. During a dramatic press conference, he said satellite evidence showed the aircraft´s transponder was turned off and it change direction shortly before it vanished. (Snip) Mr Razak said it is believed to have been heading in a westerly and then north westerly direction. President Barack Obama held a Spanish language town hall at the Newseum last week in which he was interviewed by reporters from some of the largest Spanish media outlets in the world. During the interview, he was asked a question from a man who wanted to buy Obamacare for a family of three but couldn’t afford it. (Snip) Obama couldn’t settle on a single answer to the question, so he instead suggested that the man should just sign up for Medicaid, blamed Texas for affordable insurance not being available, and concluded by saying the man should cancel his telephone service

On Fox News last night, Bill O’Reilly struggled with a question he apparently finds confusing: why aren’t major news organizations covering the IRS “scandal” to his satisfaction. Lois Lerner, the former head of the IRS’ tax exempt division, took the Fifth last week, but most of the media seemed indifferent. (Snip) That’s one possible explanation. But in the interest of giving O’Reilly and Goldberg something else to consider, there’s a more plausible, reality-based reason the media has lost interest in this scandal: there is no scandal. The past two days have revealed the dangerous ramifications of the narrow-minded foreign policy elite in Washington, and a media establishment that has for so much of President Obama’s tenure accepted the statements of the administration as gospel. (Snip) If this is the sort of foreign policy anticipation that the establishment delivers, it’s little surprise that no one trusts America’s self-styled policy elites any more. They are too used to judging the world according to the patterns toward which they are already biased, as opposed to seeing it as it is.

President Obama has made liberal use of "executive action" throughout his presidency, and pledged to make even more use of executive action in this year´s State of the Union speech. He seems to think that because Republicans don´t want to implement his agenda, he can go around Congress. The Heritage Foundation is out with a new report on President Obama´s executive actions, titled "An Executive Unbound," finding that "abusive, unlawful, even potentially unconstitutional unilateral action has been a hallmark of the Obama Administration." They´ve also compiled a list of the top ten abusive executive actions taken by the President.

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush said Sunday that many who illegally come to the United States do so out of an "act of love" for their families and should be treated differently than people who illegally cross U.S. borders or overstay visas. The comments came during an event marking the 25th anniversary of the presidency of George H. W. Bush at the library and museum that bears the name of the Bush patriarch.

In Dearborn, Mich., home to over 40,000 Americans of Arab descent, some Muslim parents have complained about flyers handed out at public schools advertising an Easter egg hunt at a local Presbyterian church. The Muslim parents assert that the flyers – emblazoned with the word “Eggstravaganza!” – violate the separation of church and state widely ascribed to the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause, reports the Detroit Free Press. Students at three Dearborn elementary schools received the flyers. A large number of Muslim students attend the schools. The “Eggstravaganza!” is scheduled to take place on April 12 event at Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church

A triumphant President Barack Obama declared Tuesday his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better´ in a Rose Garden press conference. But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night.

Former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney has sworn off running again for elected office, but Americans have certainly heard that one before. Speculation that Romney might run again has largely been stoked by the reunion he planned to host last month in Park City, Utah, for members of his 2012 campaign and debate team and a string of recent public appearances. He has appeared on TV news shows 12 times in the past six months. That’s essentially on pace with Michigan GOP Rep. Mike Rogers, who led all national politicians last year with 26 appearances over 12 months. Romney has

WASHINGTON- Seven million people signed up, so there is an appetite for President Barack Obama´s health care law, but that doesn´t guarantee success for the country´s newest social program. Big challenges are lurking for the next enrollment season, which starts Nov. 15. Chief among them are keeping premiums and other consumer costs in check, and overhauling an enrollment process that was advertised as customer-friendly but turned out to be an ordeal. A female transgender student wants an apology from a North Carolina college for being detained by a security officer and sent home for using the women’s bathroom. The 22-year-old freshman, Andraya Williams, believes she was discriminated against during a March 19 incident at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, N.C. because of her looks. The freshman said she was leaving the restroom and going to her social studies class when a female officer stopped her and requested her student ID, according to a statement released by the Transgender Law Center.
