President Barack Obama will attend a charity concert where PSY is scheduled to perform after it emerged the South Korean rapper participated in anti-American protests several years ago.A spokesman said Friday that the Obama family will attend the December 21 Christmas in Washington concert, as is custom. News reports cite two instances of the 34-year-old "Gangnam Style" rapper participating in concerts protesting the US military presence in South Korea during the early stages of the war in Iraq.
We must just accept the fact that Obama is one of them and work diligently to thwart his polices and get him out of there in 2016 . . . hopefully they´ll be something left of this once great Republic. Remember, you´re only beaten if you say you are.

Exactly #4..... just what I was thinking too.
I know the Pro-Regressive Left uses language to twist and deceive about their intentions, but I wasn´t aware until now that ´´despite´´ equals ´´because of´´.
Obama is like a rebellious teenager. He enjoys stirring controversy. Of course, he will attend and the left will hail him as a hero for doing it. The irony is that it appears that Obama is more anti-American than this SK "rapper." It is interesting that performers and that includes the home grown variety love to hate this country and yet still make millions here. Yeah, America is just a terrible, vile place.
This is just another stunt --one of many, designed by the Mulatto Marxist to rub it in our faces.
He hates this nation. He´s now been elected by the Takers, the blood suckers, the leeches, and given four more years to bring us to ruin. If you thought the first four were bad, buckle your seatbelts, because the next four are going to rougher than anyone could ever imagine.
If We, The People survive this and America --fifty years from now, is still a free country, We will be known as the Greatest Generation to have survived eight years of tyranny. ob@$tard´s reign of terror will be compared to that of Hitler.
I know a Korean man--now a retired academic who has been in the US for fifty years but makes regular trips back to Korea to teach in the summer. He esitmates two or three thousand north Korean agents are in the South. These agents have taken over education and teachers in Korea at all levels are very left. As leftists, they teach that there is nothing good about the US. Psy should reflect upon this: had the US not defeated Japan in 1945, he´d be speaking Japanese, not Korean. Had the US not stepped in in 1950, his second language would be Russian. Had the US not stayed the course in the Korean war, all of Korea would be a subsidiary of communist China. I know and love Korea and the people--I served there nineteen months in the army and three years as a Peace Corps volunteer. We can add that there is an element of race in anti-American (anti-anyone-not Korean, really) and nationalism in the anti-American sentiment that is so prevalent in Korea. But Psy and Obama would agree on the basic leftist premises behind the anti-American thought.
Really! You don´t expect Obama to attend a program actually celebrating Christ´s birth, with carols and religious music, do you? This is the sort of hip mockery that trendy Christophobes everywhere delight in. The America-hatred exhibited by the Yellow Peril or whatever his name is makes it that much more special. I mean, how cool can you get, man?
So, he´s taking in a concert then immediately jetting off to Hawaii for his little $4 million vacation. Goodie for him. Meanwhile, I work for a huge retail chain and, believe me, sales are down. People don´t know what to expect in 2013. So, have fun, Barry. No, don´t give us or the country a second thought.
So, if this POS, Park Jae-sang hates America so much, why has he adopted the RAP genre of that is very American and appearance of American performers? Seems he likes making money ala American style. What a hypocrit! As for this president - there just are no more words.
Hey #18, I like it! Obama, the "thugster". Afterall, he is holding US hostage and extorting funds (unimaginable taxes). The ChicagoWay is definitely his mentality. He is a perfect fit with an anti-American protester.
Why would anyone expect our unamerican dear leader to forego an opportunity to enjoy the lyrics of a man who rejoiced in the death of our soldiers. Obama will probably go there after he gets his 90 minutes of camera time at the Army -Navy game. It would never occur to him that the two acts are disingenuos and insulting to "his" military.
Let us not forget to place blame where it lies. Psy´s lyrics about slowly killing American soldiers talks about doing it in revenge for the "torture of Iraqi prisoners". As we all know, the Mainstream Media used the pictures of faux-torture (a prisoner with wires attached to a battery, another with naked Iraqi´s grouped into a pile) at Abu Ghraib to incite a riot around the world. It resulted in a much more violent opposition in Iraqi to the Allied occupation. Heads were sawed off.
All I saw in those photo´s were soldiers posing their prisoners in embarrassing ways. With smiles on their faces, I had no reason to believe our guys had actually electrocuted, raped, or physically tortured anyone. It was the same sort of thing that occurs annually at fraternity hazings. Those opposed to the War (like the MSM) thought the worst, of course, and sent that around the world to incite hate for the US.
Barry is going to sue him for plagiarism and a share of the royalties. The Choomander in Chief will doing that bizarre grin imagining his buddy singing about killing US troops and their families. This is especially revolting since Obama has presided over a record number of dead American troops in Afghanistan - over 1500 since he was inaugurated. ," Kill those f--ing Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives and those who ordered them to torture," "Kill them all slowly and painfully," as well as "daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers." You cannot apologize for lyrics like this. Imagine the media outrage if George W Bush attended a concert where a rapper sang about killing black people and their families.
Of course he is. And why not? His hideous wife, snarly and mean-faced daughters will likely be there too, along with the grifter mother-in-law. I won´t be surprised to see him now listed as a regular one or all of the classless, tasteless, offensive and hate-America Big Moo events in our White House.
Before he was elevated to international superstardom this year thanks to the magic of his invisible horse dance, Psy was a rapper and music producer in his native South Korea with a bad-boy reputation. In the late ’90s he dropped out of Boston University and the Berklee School of Music without earning degrees, was fined for his first album in 2001 for using “inappropriate lyrics,” and in 2007 he came under investigation for shirking mandatory military duty in South Korea. Now there’s another indiscretion to add to the “Gangnam Style” star’s rap sheet: Psy is coming under fire for a pair of shocking anti-American performances he gave a decade ago.
According to Korean media reports, during a 2002 performance Psy hoisted a toy model of a U.S. tank and proceeded to smash it on the stage with a microphone stand, later joining the crowd in anti-American chants. Busan Haps reports that there was video of this incident posted on YouTube until recently, when it was removed by an entertainment company citing copyright claims. Psy’s on-stage protest was spurred by the killing of two 14-year-old Korean girls when they were run over by an American military vehicle on a South Korean road just north of Seoul. Anti-American sentiment was high, though the two soldiers driving the vehicle were found not guilty of negligent homicide during a court martial.
We´re not like him. He´s not one of us. If you´re hateful of America, its traditions, or its white population, then you´re "in" with this dope.I´d say more, but since I´m a gentleman, I´ll stop now.....
Some how we have got to come up with a contest to properly "name" this sorry POS in such a way that it is printable in this column. Now that is a challenge as I see it. I tried to use just first letters like S.O.B. but they finally saw through my finer work. I´d offer a prize of some sort but Zippy´s foolin´ with the markets wiped me out. But if anyone deserved a real, honest to goodness cussing contest it is this so-call clown who tries to destroy our country. There are some very good writers and thinkers out there who blog here and I would hope that they join in and see what we can do. We have been so completely betrayed and cheated out of everything we hold dear and I think it´d pay back time!! Let´s give it a shot!!
Drudge reports Obummer is having some ´ Christmas Special ´ . " Heha . Yousee allthose lights on that tree ? . Wellll , each of them represents , uh , one thousand people outta WORK ! " . So uh , we light this tree so EVERYONE one can see what the Bush years did for America ! "
I believe you have it exactly backwards about Nancy Reagan and the Beach Boys. That was why they headlined at the celebration for the Statue of Liberty. Because they represent what has always been great about this country. Their music always makes people feel good. Which is more than we can say about this Korean rapper.
Susan Patton, the Princeton alumna who became famous for her letter urging Ivy League women to use their college years to find a mate, has been denounced as a traitor to feminism, to coeducation, to the university ideal. But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —
A New York hedge fund manager allegedly swindles $12 million from a prominent Baltimore family. An Indiana couple is accused of bilking hundreds of customers by charging for free trials of cosmetic products. A financial manager in Texas promises 23-percent returns but absconds with $33.5 million of his investors’ money in a classic Ponzi scheme. All three cases have one thing in common: money that ended up in offshore accounts and trusts set up in tax havens around the world.
Former News Corp president Peter Chernin has bid around $500 million for Hulu, the online video streaming service he helped create in 2007, according to two sources with knowledge of Hulu´s sale process. The website, jointly controlled by News Corp and Walt Disney Co, reached out to potential buyers in March after initially contemplating a deal in which one would buy out the other. It is not clear whether that transaction is still being contemplated.
After lengthy investigations, the Pentagon has determined that three Army generals committed misconduct in separate incidents, adding to an unusually long list of senior military commanders who have been censured over the past year.On Friday, defense officials confirmed that Army Maj. Gen. Ralph O. Baker, the commander of a strategic counterterrorism force on the Horn of Africa, was fired March 28 on charges of sexual misconduct. Two officials familiar with the case said Baker was investigated for allegedly groping a female civilian employee after he had been drinking.
The Obama administration appeared eager Thursday to downplay the North Korean military’s latest threat that it has the final authority to carry out “cutting-edge, smaller, lighter and diversified” nuclear strikes on the United States.“This is just the latest in a long line of aggressive statements,” (Snip)the recent tension between Washington and Pyongyang “does not need to get hotter.”The remarks were the first public reaction from the Obama administration since Wednesday’s claim by the North Korean military that the “moment of explosion is approaching fast” with the possibility of war breaking out “today or tomorrow.”
President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that
Political scientist Charles Murray has never backed away from controversy, but usually his opponents have been liberals. Friday, however, he managed to upset conservatives at the annual conference known as CPAC, where thousands of bewildered Republicans gathered to figure out the way forward after their party’s 2012 electoral defeat. Murray ditched his prepared remarks on “America Coming Apart” in favor of an impromptu admonition to fellow conservatives to accept the legalization of both gay marriage and abortion.
VATICAN CITY—It took Jorge Mario Bergoglio four minutes to convince fellow cardinals he was their leader. Speaking in the Paul VI grand hall of the Vatican, the Argentine cardinal warned the Catholic Church against focusing too much on matters close to home—advice that came against the backdrop of a papacy that had been consumed by infighting among Vatican officials, a dwindling flock in Europe and secular trends in the West. The 76-year-old Father Jorge, as he is known back home, said Roman Catholicism needed to shift its focus outward, to the world beyond Rome—rather than being "self-referential," he said.
When President Obama gets to Jerusalem next week, one of the signals to listen for is an indication of what country he thinks he’s in. Normally this is clear when the President — any president — goes to the capital of a foreign country. He’s in whatever country the capital is capital of. But Mr. Obama has been refusing to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Not only that, but he has been refusing to admit that Jerusalem is even in Israel.
Approaching his first presidential trip to Israel, President Obama offered a fresh and foolish — if not feckless — assessment of the Iranian nuclear threat. "Right now, we think it would take over a year or so for Iran to actually deliver a nuclear weapon, but obviously we don’t want to cut it too close,” the President told an Israeli television interviewer, in the process cutting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu off at the knees and giving the mullahs breathing room to keep enriching uranium.
I hope I´m not too late to the fight.Last week, freshman Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) held an old-fashioned filibuster against the nomination of John Brennan to head the CIA. Paul´s stated reason for taking to the floor and talking for 13 hours was that the Obama administration wouldn´t give him a straight answer on the question of whether the president can unilaterally order the killing of American citizens on American soil with "lethal force, such as a drone strike … and without trial."
An unfortunate story on CBS New York Thursday carried this headline: "Officials: 80 Percent Of Recent NYC High School Graduates Cannot Read." It´s a shocker, but it´s also untrue. And to make things worse, the story that followed was riddled with typos. According to the New York Post, which reported the same story earlier on Thursday, "79.3 percent of city public-school grads who went to CUNY’s six two-year colleges arrived without having mastered the basics" of reading, writing, and math, and had to take non-credit remedial classes to catch up.
Colin Powell has admitted to exchanging ´very personal´ emails with a Romanian diplomat but denies having an affair with the much younger woman after a hacker threatened to release their intimate messages. The 76-year-old retired general told the Smoking Gun that he met Corina Cretu, 45, roughly 10 years ago when she was working as an assistant to the president of Romania. She is now a member of the European Parliament. ´After I left the Department of State in January 2005 we stayed in touch via email,´ he told TSG.
CNN has uncovered exclusive new information about what is allegedly happening at the CIA, in the wake of the deadly Benghazi terror attack. Four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, were killed in the assault by armed militants last September 11 in eastern Libya. Sources now tell CNN dozens of people working for the CIA were on the ground that night, and that the agency is going to great lengths to make sure whatever it was doing, remains a secret. CNN has learned the CIA is involved in what one source calls an unprecedented attempt to keep the spy
The United States will temporarily shut down its embassies and consulates around the world Sunday, including those in Iraq, Afghanistan and Egypt, as a precautionary measure, the State Department said Thursday. State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf did not say how long the international installations would stay closed -- only that the decision was taken “out of an abundance of caution and care for our employees and others who may be visiting.” Sunday is a normal workday in many Arab and Middle Eastern countries. Embassies in Europe and Latin America would be shuttered that day anyway.
In preparation for the release of Oscar-bait film The Butler, Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, and director Lee Daniels (Precious) sat down with Parade magazine. The film chronicles a butler (Whitaker) who works in the White House through seven administrations. Winfrey plays the butler’s wife. In the interview, Winfrey explained her sadness that so few Americans know about the history of the civil rights movement: “They don’t know diddly-squat. Diddly-squat.” She then said of the historic use of the n-word, “I always think of the millions of people who heard that as their last
American scientists claim the planet is undergoing one of the largest changes in climate in the past 65 million years. Climatologists at Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment have warned the likely rate of change over the next century will be at least 10 times quicker than any climate shift since the dinosaurs became extinct. If the trend continues at its current rapid pace, it will place significant stress on terrestrial ecosystems around the world, and many species will need to make behavioral, evolutionary or geographic adaptations to survive, they said.
About 400 area retail and fast-food workers, together with colleagues nationally, participated in a strike Thursday to demand raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour. “If not $15, then something. I mean give us something. I work 36 hours a week and barely make enough to pay my rent, gas bill, light bill. It gets to the point where I barely have enough for lunch sometimes,” said Angel Richardson, 21, who works at McDonald’s. “I’m five months pregnant, what am I going to do in four months? I hope something changes.” The minimum wage is $7.25 nationally and $8.25
[Video] Ouch. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie turned down an offer by Sen. Rand Paul to join him for a beer and bury the hatchet in their ongoing -- and very public -- feud. "I´m running for re-election in New Jersey. I don´t really have time for that at the moment," Christie said in an interview on a local radio station. The New Jersey governor said if he finds himself in Washington, "I´ll certainly look him up." But he added: "I don´t suspect I´ll be there anytime soon. I´ve got work to do here."
Oprah Winfrey said Americans by and large know “diddly-squat” about the history of the civil rights movement. The talk show queen and media mogul made her comments during the promotion of her new film, “The Butler,” about a black man who serves in that capacity through seven administrations at the White House. “They don’t know diddly-squat,” she said in a recent interview with Parade magazine. “Diddly-squat.” Ms. Winfrey also said that when she hears the N-word, she thinks of the “millions of people who heard that as their last word as they were hanging from a tree.”
The administration has popped the bubble of hope some small business had that switching to part-time staff would let them escape the high costs of Obamacare. The Small Business Administration on Thursday created a website to explain to businesses that the government will simply tally up the number of part-time employees firms have to determine if enough hours have been worked to essentially create a "full-time equivalent." Some smaller businesses had thought that if they could get under the 50 full-time employee cap that activates Obamacare by cutting full-time workers and hiring more part-time workers they would escape
Government workers in the city of Seattle have been advised that the terms "citizen" and "brown bag" are potentially offensive and may no longer be used in official documents and discussions. KOMO-TV reports that the city´s Office of Civil Rights instructed city workers in a recent internal memo to avoid using the words because some may find them offensive. "Luckily, we´ve got options," Elliott Bronstein of the Office for Civil Rights wrote in the memo obtained by the station. "For ´citizens,´ how about ´residents?´"
Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) suggested on Friday morning that the tea party movement is comprised of the same types of people who fought against the civil rights movement during the 1960s. Speaking with the Daily Beast, Rangel said of the movement: “It is the same group we faced in the South with those white crackers and the dogs and the police. They didn’t care about how they looked. He added that the tea party movement can be defeated similar to how the civil rights movement eradicated Jim Crow mentality: “It was just fierce indifference to human life that caused
The nation´s most active death penalty state is running out of its execution drug. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice said Thursday that its remaining supply of phenobarbital expires in September and that no alternatives have been found. It wasn´t immediately clear whether two executions scheduled for next month would be delayed. The state has already executed 11 death-row inmates this year, and at least seven more have execution dates in coming months. "We will be unable to use our current supply of phenobarbital after it expires," agency spokesman Jason Clark said. "We are exploring all options at this time."
