| The U.S. Export-Import Bank, an agency of the federal government, is lending $105 million to the Brazilian state of Ceara to help build an aquarium in its capital city of Fortaleza. “An anticipated tourist attraction, the aquarium will boast four floors housing 25 large tanks containing approximately 15 million liters of water and showcasing 500 marine species and 35,000 individual specimens,” the Export-Import Bank said in a press release. “The aquarium will also feature interactive exhibits, two 4D cinemas, one 3D cinema, and an educational platform

I feel SO lucky, we had our first baby in 1964, were broke, couldn´t afford a crib (much less a baby), had only a used couch in the living room and were as happy as could be. Amazing what you can do without when you have to!

Do we need to go to the Supreme Court to stop Obama from giving away our present/future?
Does not congress have to approve expenditures or is a president allowed to act as Obama is doing? If not so, then we need to change it because Obama has made America insolvent and it will take a miracle to be the nation we were 4 years ago.
Bush did not do this!
Bush is not responsible for the excessive spending Obama has done and needs to be held accountable.

With this "investment", it appears we are easing the way for one American company. It´s a little murky, but that is what I deduced after a quick read.
Somewhere we´ll find a connection between that company, its CEO and the Obama reelection campaign.

Don´t worry if you raised your kids right they will quickly learn how to live broke. We actually raised 5 on 13,000 a year and they were all given the education we didn´t miss. We Didn´t get the higher wages until later. At the time anyone in science or engineering was not paid as much as teachers who were paid with our taxes.

White House officials have decided to go ahead with annual garden tours this year despite sequester cuts, an official familiar with the decision tells POLITICO. Tours of the White House itself remained canceled because the cuts have left Secret Service short on manpower to staff them. Arizona Gov. Janice Brewer has signed a law providing strong new restrictions on the use of so-called "seclusion rooms" in schools – closet-sized rooms where children with behavioral disabilities such as autism were being locked up as punishment. "It is chilling to imagine an Arizona school child being shut away in a padded room, no larger than a closet, for hours on end," Brewer said after signing the law Friday. "There has to be a better way." With the new law, Arizona will join more than 30 other states that impose rules on the restraint of students in public schools.

The U.S. Senate has confirmed Mary Jo White´s nomination as chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, clearing the way for her to become the first former prosecutor to lead the agency that oversees Wall Street. White was swiftly approved Monday by a voice vote in the Senate. President Barack Obama nominated White for the job. She was the U.S. attorney in Manhattan from 1993 through 2002. North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”
