Another TSA Agent

A TSA agent was arrested this week and charged with stealing from passengers traveling through New York´s John F. Kennedy Airport, adding to the long list of TSA officers accused of theft of passenger belongings. TSA baggage screener Sean Henry, 32, was arrested on Tuesday after a sting operation conducted jointly by the TSA and the Port Authority Police Department caught Henry leaving the airport with two iPads that had been planted as part of the sting, as well as numerous other electronics devices he had allegedly stolen from passengers. Just as in a recent ABC News investigation of thefts

With two earrings and a hoodie, he looks like a street mugger. This class of muggers is different; object to a probing in progress and you´re the one thrown in prison.

The question is: what happens to these "protectors of the People"? Are they tried like "ordinary" citizens and imprisoned, or do they receive favorable treatment because of their exalted status?

Well...the best i can give them is that at leadt they ran a sting operation.

Sounds like they need to send the TSA folk through security screening before they leave work.

Wouldn´t it be easier and faster to just list the TSA employees who haven´t stolen -- ´scuse me, who haven´t been caught stealing from taxpayer-travelers yet?

FTA: "TSA holds its employees to the highest ethical standards and has zero tolerance for misconduct in the workplace," said Castelveter in a statement.

Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha--EEP! Ooh, I think I hurt myself.

Looking at this... fellow, something Hillary said comes to mind. So, Hillary, if we "Federalize," we´ll get -- what was it you promised? That was available no other way but by making the screeners Fed employees?

#1: Think further about what you suggest. Should honest taxpayers have to go through all the grief, the [probably uninsured] loss of the device [setting aside all the other items stolen by TSA perps for now], and much more to protect themselves from the depredations of Federal "screeners" whose very salaries those taxpayers provide? Makes no sense at all to me. IMHO, it´s an utter outrage.

Oh -- and it took an outside, private company to bring the extent of TSA criminality so much exposure the Feds could no longer bury it.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — We teach kids that honesty is the best policy, but at one Virginia Beach middle school it might be better to keep the truth to yourself. Last Thursday at Bayside Middle School, sixth grader Adrionna Harris came to the aide of a classmate who was cutting his arm. She faces expulsion for taking a razor from the student, throwing it away and convincing him what he was doing wasn’t right. Port Authority officials said Tuesday morning they were reconsidering a controversial deal that gave NJ Transit a $1-a-year lease on valuable land in North Bergen. At the time of the vote in 2012, NJ Transit was paying the law firm of Port Authority Chairman David Samson up to $1.5 million for legal advice in connection with its effort to maximize profits from its commuter parking lots, including the one in North Bergen. The vote reduced NJ Transit´s lease payments from more $907,000 a year to $1 a year. Samson voted in favor of the deal in 2012, according to
