| Egyptian feminist activist Nawal El Saadawi joined the "Smiley and West Show" on December 1st to talk about the Arab spring and the United States´ involvement in bringing it to an end. Saadawi, who was actively involved in the revolution, tells progressives Tavis Smiley & Cornel West that the Obama administration and, specifically Hillary Clinton, worked with military and the Muslim Brotherhood to "abort" Egypt´s revolution. Saadawi went on to say that Hillary Clinton and the Muslim Brotherhood are now "twins" for their involvement in prematurely ending the revolution

NORTH Korea´s military has today issued an "ultimatum" saying it would launch retaliation against South Korea without warning if "anti-North Korean" activities continue. "The supreme command of the Korean People´s Army Tuesday issued an ultimatum to the South Korean puppet group," Pyongyang´s official news agency, KCNA, said. Threatening that it would not give any advance notice before attacking South Korea, the North warned: "Our retaliatory action will start without any notice from now." North Korea said it was responding to insults from the "puppet authorities" in the South, who yesterday held a rally against the North in Seoul.

Police took a 20-year-old Saudi national into custody near the scene of yesterday’s horrific Boston Marathon bomb attack, law-enforcement sources told The Post. The potential suspect was questioned by the FBI and local police yesterday at Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he was under heavy guard while being treated for shrapnel injuries to his leg sustained in the blast. In late afternoon, a large group of federal and state law enforcement agents raided an apartment in a building in the Saudi man’s hometown of Revere, Mass. FBI agents could be seen through one window.

The Department of Homeland Security has not issued a terror alert in response to Monday´s bombings in Boston. On the Department of Homeland Security’s National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) website, the administration says: “There are no current alerts.” According to a source with knowledge of these matters, a terror alert "gives authority for full mobilization of law enforcement resources to feds, state and locals.” The source told Breitbart News that the administration is supposed to issue such an alert out of the National Counterterrorism Center, via NTAS, but no such alert has been issued after the bombings in Massachusetts.

The last check and balance on President Obama is the Republican majority in the House of Representatives. He has made clear that he intends to remove that check on his power in the 2014 elections. Our Founding Fathers wisely provided for a free and independent press as an additional check on government power. But the New York Times, the Washington Post, NBC, CBS and ABC decided they had a better idea. Since he first became a presidential candidate, President Obama must have spent millions of dollars in legal expenses to combat dozens of so-called "birther" challenges seeking the original documents pertaining to his birth. As president, he famously issued an electronic document on the White House website in 2011; the document purported to be his long-form birth certificate, though it is apparently a forgery.
