Our last two candidates were not chosen by our Party, they were chosen by the Media, through a process of character assassination towards more preferable possibilities. And we wonder how what could happen, happened.

There will be no debates in 2016. I am betting there will not be an election.

Who cares? The debates are meaningless and answers given by all candidates are rarely meaningful in any sense.

If the debates were structured properly you wouldn´t need a moderator or the msm. If you do have a moderator it shouldn´t be a network twit, find an ex party official. And no debates until primary season.

Gingich and Santorum did great damage to Romney during those primary debates, perhaps wounding him enough to lose the election.

#6 Romney could have gone after BO the same way he went after Gingrish and Santorum. He had in the ropes and let him go.

Debate moderators ought to be selected from the ranks of those who coach debate teams in high schols and colleges. they know how to run debates and they´d do a good job because they´d have to face teir students the next dsay.

None of the major networks need be involved in the debates. None of the navel gazing talking heads should be allowed near any of the candidates!

Video the debates and put them one the web. They will get more attention and be much more thorough than what we had this time around.

And skip the stupid questions from the audience papp. Let the candidates ask questions of each other.

Romney´s wounds were self inflicted starting w/the reality that he was a banal, feckless and inept candidate who stood for nothing.

George Snuffeupagus a liberal Democrat political hack at ABC signaled one facet of the coming liberal Democrat attack on Romney when he asked Romney that out of the blue question concerning female contraceptives in the first debate.

That signals to me that George Snuffeupagus was in cahoots with the Obama campaign from the get-go. That´s proof enough that the RNC should never again allow liberal Democrat political hacks who are employed in the media to moderate any sort of debate involving Republican candidates.

As my high school civics/government teacher taught us back in 1972, never underestimate the stupidity of the national Republican party.

Who cares? If we continue to pin our hopes on the GOP, then we´re the stupid ones.

They will float names like Rubio and Martinez as the hopes of the future. However, if they don´t toe the WS/CC line, their fate will be the same as this year´s crop of conservative candidates.

I agree with #2. Along about 2015, The Anointed One will work with Congress (by then 96 dem senators to 4, and 417 dem reps to 18) to have himself declared Emperor for Life.

Once that happens, the hundred or so republicans left in the country would be given a choice between swearing undying fealty to their new Lord or being torn apart by wild dogs in the Obama Colosseum (formerly Yankee Stadium.)

Of course they will, Roger. They needed no more proof of the media´s perfidy and yet they allowed them to take control of the primary debates this time.

The Republican establishment is useless. And now that we know they´re barred by law from even accusing the Democrats of their blatant election fraud, the party is clearly dead. They have absolutely nothing to offer. They´re actually in the way of any real, viable new party forming.

Fifth: no more debates, period!

Only the RINOS might fall yot again for the dems´ MSM tools to moderated future Presidential debates.

The GOP are Charlie Brown´s kicker to the MSM Lucy the holder.

When the GOP goes to kick the ball and the MSM whisks it away, they lay on the ground looking surprised, yet knowing it´s happened every time before.

The Pubbies could wise up and treat the media like the enemies they are...but expecting that seems about as likely that American Jews will stand up for Israel and vote Republican. Possible, logical and unlikely.

Even with the deck stacked against him in the debates, it´s possible Romney could have pulled it off on election day if he had prevailed in the second and third debates. Instead he did a McCain. Any possibility of picking up the Oprah-loving-women´s vote was negated by the loss of core support by McCaining it.

Unless we vote via purple thumbs... it no longer matters. Election reform should be the primary focus of the GOP right now.

Now we know why Obozo showed up for the 1st debate unprepared... why bother, when it´s in the bag?
