The 2012 presidential election victory (by fact, by fraud, or by both) will be America’s decision of the current millennium. The nation is now divided. Not between or among the classes promoted by the Democrats who have routinely sorted groups by race, income, wealth, digital access, and a thousand other sub-classes in their unending search for victims to label, save, and subjugate. No, not talking about all those. Because there are only two classes now: “Christians” and “Romans”.

Romans called Caesar "Our Lord and Savior." The parallels are interesting.

I hope and pray that Hyland is right, and that the turnaround may happen in our lifetimes.
Maybe it will, but we will need a better standard-bearer than a Beltway Republican. I consider Romney a good person, but he was a terrible candidate.

He is right though I shudder at the thought of what it will cost us. The whole monstrous thing will come crashing down under the weight of its sheer unsustainability as every socialist utopia project since Plato has. It will leave us in bad shape and take quite a while to recover. But as long as we remain a republic of fifty or more sovereign states and the constitution remains in place we will be back.

It’s starting. Well, it’s been predicted, but what’s beginning is something even America’s low-informed might notice but only when in front of their collective faces. Banks in southern Europe are beginning to restrict access to bank accounts. That this phenomenon will make its way across the pond is becoming rather clear, but only to those who listen carefully. Our money, the dollar we once knew, is now only virtual. The dollar our country made the standard of the world, has become an X and an O repeated and created trillions of times over each day without anything to back up its value. We’ve been off the gold standard since 1972, and since then the dollar established itself as the fiat currency of the world.

“Unconstitutional? Absolutely. It’s like dropping a Ford Pinto engine into a totaled Ferrari body, patching it up and then selling it to some unsuspecting dupe as a “brand new Ferrari.” “But Republican governors are folding like cheap lawn chairs,” you say. “And political eunuchs in the GOP establishment are bowing to Obama like he bows to foreign dictators. Any hope of repeal is long dead, and besides, Chief Justice John Roberts put the final nail in the judicial coffin last summer, didn’t he? Any chance of killing the Obamacare zombie is gone, right?” Wrong.

Although wars have produced marvelous inventions by which to win battles, technical, mechanical and human progress expands exponentially when given the freedoms brought about by the maintenance of peace through strength. Peace provides this success only when it is felt to be reasonably long in expected duration. Although tyranny can also produce peace and prosperity, the absence of tyranny combined with the freedoms inherent in the American experiment of a democratic republic have given the world its first glimpse of long-term, true human success and happiness.

In coming days the Boy Scouts of America will decide whether to violate – eliminate, really – its own mission statement, oath and law by changing its policy to allow, within its ranks, Scouts and Scoutmasters who are open practitioners of the homosexual lifestyle. Sadly, to do so would destroy BSA’s credibility as a “morally straight” organization. Such foolhardy capitulation to extremist pressure groups would spell the demise of Scouting as we’ve known it. The Prince of the Earth seeks to corrupt and ultimately destroy all that is righteous, honorable and good.

First, on a personal note: Thank you, thank you and thank you, Mary Elizabeth Williams! What a glorious service you’ve done the pro-life cause. I know, that’s not what you intended. But that’s precisely what you’ve accomplished. Did I say thank you? In her jaw-dropping article, “So what if abortion ends life?” Williams – a mainstream, though uncharacteristically honest pro-abort scribe for Salon.com – has inexplicably broken from the Orwellian left’s ministerial script.

Has Mr. Reid reviewed his own bank accounts, wherever they are, decided to make any new investments recently, or perhaps reviewed any trusts he or his family have established?(break) I wonder about such things because it is apparent Mr. Reid does not have any of those concerns as the Majority Leader of the Senate, which has assumed total responsibility (or not) for the expenditures of this nation.

A retired Portland city administrator made more than $22,000 a month last fall after being awarded no-bid contracts with the city and the school district, the Oregonian reported Sunday. Officials said they generally prefer competitive contracting, but added that no one else offered Yvonne Deckard´s expertise. The pay wasn't out of line for specialized work and contracts didn't violate any policies, but the deals raise questions about competition among contractors _ particularly when a former employee is involved.

At times, complicated issues are most clearly understood in simple terms. Speaking before the Knesset in 2006, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu captured, in two brief sentences, that which lies at the heart of the ongoing, centuries-old Arab-Israeli conflict: “The truth is that if Israel were to put down its arms, there would be no more Israel. If the Arabs were to put down their arms, there would be no more war.” Indeed, how does one peacefully co-exist with those whose singular obsession is that one should not exist at all? Can a Jewish people who simply wish to live in peace ever do so

“…Barack Obama loves the future because that’s where all his accomplishments are.” The more things change, the more they stay the same. In an unusually objective moment four years ago, the New York Times’ David Brooks decided to put some fleeting thoughts on paper for all to see. Perhaps he was lamenting Hillary did not win the primary, while an upstart junior senator somehow had.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —
