If we would simply cut out ALL the freebies given to illegals, just the illegals, we would save the country ~$300 billion. A Year. Each Year. Don´t buy the pap floated by the WH about the funding two wars/military spending is what put the country into debt. We spend over $300 billion a year in welfare, free medical, EBTs, anchor baby deliveries, free housing, free cell phones, free education in our public schools, WIC programs, police protection, jails, etc. etc. on just illegals alone and this burden on the taxpayer is increasing with each passing day that our borders are flooded with them.

So basically he wants higher taxes, excuse me, I meant to say "revenues", more spending and in return he wants us to take his word that he will cut spending at some future unspecified date. My question is, why the hell would anyone take his word for anything. He wouldn´t know the truth if it walked up and smacked him in the face. He has already proven to be a pathological liar.

The House should cease agreeing to any funding for the government. Spending bills originate there. Don´t originate any.

I´m of the opinion that everyone should pay income taxes. Period. Bush created this monster when he eliminated income taxes for those making less than X number of dollars per year. Tax PAYERS pay more attention to spending than tax CONSUMERS.

Frankly, taking the fiscal cliff is better than raping the wealthy for more give-aways for the moochers. The democrats are not serious about reigning in spending....and they keep repeating the mantra that they won the election and America voted for increased taxes. Ignoring all of the exit polling that showed that the population prefered and trusted Romney more on the economy.

Are these Dems kidding? Twice they have offered this type of deal to raise taxes now and we will lower expenditures later. They never, ever lowered spending and thus screwed the Repubs. Perhaps the Repubs. liked being raked over the coals!

The first thing that needs to happen is for the Rupublicans challange the premise of the debate. The budget they are referring to is the one Obama presented that recieved no votes. Why are we discussing that budget.
Call Harry Reid out on not presenting a budget for the last three years. None of these polititicians from either side will state the fact that no one has offered anything that will "cut" any spending. It is just a low level of increases in the ongoing budget that was bloted by the stimulus package and continues to grow.

I´m 52, I´ve been in the workforce for 30 years as an RN. I´m in excellent health and had planned to keep working until around 60 because I like my job and I get to come to work and help others every day. I´m seriously thinking of retiring very soon. I´m tired of getting up at 530 or 6 am every day, working 10-12 hours, just so Obama can take my hard-earned money and redistribute to those who can´t seem to get their acts together to support themselves. After this last election, I´m about done. Sorry for the sour grapes.
