| Winning tickets for the record Powerball jackpot worth more than $587 million were purchased in Arizona and Missouri. Missouri Lottery official Susan Goedde confirmed to ABC News this morning that one of the winning tickets was purchased in the state, but they would not be announcing a town until later this morning. Arizona lottery officials said they had no information on that state´s winner or winners but would announce where it was sold during a news conference later in the day.

I just heard someone mention casually on MSNBC that the Powerball Jackpot Would Fund The US Government For A Little More Than An Hour.
Wonder if this is true? If it is, that certainly seems like a great ´talking point´ for the Republicans....folks could understand the magnitude of our problem? Maybe?

I’ve decided—and it wasn’t much of a decision: more a “duh” moment—that arguments over the legacy of former President George W. Bush will cease, oh, around the time we get an accurate count of all those angels said to be breakdancing on the head of a pin.
