Benghazi explained: Interview with an “Intelligence Insider”

| This is part one of a multi-part interview with a government insider intimately familiar with the events that took place in Benghazi. In this part, he provides important background, and explains this administration is engaged in a massive cover-up. DH: It’s been a while since we’ve discussed Benghazi. What have you heard lately? II: Before I answer that, I want to get a few things off my chest. Every politician, whether it’s a congressman senator, diplomat, or their spokespeople and the media are lying to the American public every time they call the location of the attack a consulate. It was not.

OK, so arms to Syrian rebels is the key? If so, what the hell was the ambassador doing in the middle of this "non-consulate" setting? Why was he so exposed?
I agree with the "informant" that we are under attack in many ways, whether terrorist or financial terrorism and the attack on our currency. No one can doubt our vulnerability. If our currency is tied to oil, we need to develop our domestic resources so that they are ready when the cut off occurs. Like the 30´s, we have a progressive politician that is in it for the power. Despite the warning clouds, Roosevelt and Obama were/are doubling down to weaken us and make us vulnerable to attack.
Question is: Do we have the resources and the will to combat it?

FWIW I have been following Hagmann at his website "Northeast Intelligence Network" for years. He tends to be a paranoid, alarmist, conspiracy type. Frequently, though, he is way out in front with the real story.

Thanks poster. Very well-written story and I believe we are finally getting the truth about what happened in Benghazi. It all fits in with Obama and Hillary´s strange behavior trying to cover up what happened with some ridiculous story about a video no one had ever seen. Benghazi was never a "Consulate", it was a big CIA operation headquarters. Our suspicions were correct, "Ambassador" Stevens was indeed basically a gun runner for funneling Libya´s arms to terrorists. It makes Fast and Furious look like Sunday School stuff. It may even explain why Obama worked to topple Ghadafi in the first place. Some kind of grand scheme to destabilize Syria through arming terrorist rebels. Didn´t we learn anything from what happened in Afghanistan? We armed terrorists there to fight the Soviet Union, only to have that scheme come back to bite us with Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban. No wonder Putin and Russia hate the U.S. and want to hurt us back. They are far more clever about it, though. We seem to be a bunch of Amateur players over there in the Middle East.

Twice voted in as president of the US, twice caught running guns to very bad people and twice caught covering up the truth. Hillary took full responsibility for the event and has not been seen in the country since. Any old white guys in the loop have been thrown out on their ears for sex escapades. Congress has been sidelined and marginalized by it´s reluctance to do it´s job. The judicial branch is neutered completely.
The great cry of rebellion from the majority of Americans is..."give me free stuff"? The war cry of the Republican party is, "Don´t worry, everything is fine. We are going to give a lot of free stuff to illegal immigrants and we will win in 2016.".
I shudder to think of what individual rights will exist in four years now that presidential executive decree is the only law of the land.

As most former military guys immediately knew the Administration´s story was phoney.
As we asked back on 9/15 - where are the "survivors"?
How come no media at all has brought them in front of the cameras?
If it was all a CIA black op, it makes a lot of sense.
Bottom line still is, Obama let an Ambassador die on his watch, while watching real time.
Shame, shame.

I´ve written many times in other venues and here a few times about the plunging dollar. DH says the attack has yet to be successful. He is right only on the surface. Since hussein got into office the dollar has lost 30% by some estimates. And yes, all oil is traded in $US. The attempt to replace the dollar with the Euro and the Yuan have not been completely effective, but they have made a huge dent in their attempts to destroy the $US.
Europe, since the revolution and before has been after control of the world´s currency. Now China has even made innuendos that they might dump dollars or refuse to accept them for trade. As yet, they depend on our bucks to stay alive.
You bet, our economy is tied directly to oil. The cost of gas is directly tied to the value of the dollar, not availability. That is our biggest threat on the global scene. Bill Clinton once said it wasn´t fair the WE were the only super power. hussein is the mechanism to make that happen and he´s doing it partially by keeping us dependent on foreign oil which has been a primary tool to devalue the $US.
Our US Supreme Court is the next target because when hussein gets done with it, it will not support our core values of free enterprise. We have seen just the rim of the well into which our economy is about to plunge when the dollar collapses.

Make the connection all the way back to the Khalid Al Mansour link to Obama´s education -- paid for by the Saudis.
Next think about all of the obstacles the president has thrown in the way of our energy independence.

So Benghazi > Iran-Contra
With Iran-Contra, we only negotiated/dealt with the terrorists in Iran in order to fund/ship arms to the Contras.
With Benghazi, we are funding/supplying arms directly to the terrorists.

Geez!
If this is all true, it not only explains Rice´s lies, but it validates so many suspicions by Americans that something big is going on beneath the radar and that the media are being lied to, also.
The Obama administration is playing the role of Saudi Arabia’s private army. I think if Americans knew this, they would be outraged. Our service men and women are being sold out as mercenaries for the wants and desires of the Royal family, for the Saudi’s interests. It’s about religious dominance and oil.
The various scenarios of total deliberate collapse of the US to foreign blackmail by oil, and of Muslim takeover of the world become more reasonable to assume.

So simple. Because neither Dems nor Reps will allow us to dig for oil and refine it here in the USA any more, we are forced to get involved in nasty games with Russia and the Mid-East. And nothing is going to change until we have men such as Michael Reagan running the country instead of these insipid, greedy Republicans and marxist democrats.

Khalid al Mansour owns Obama lock stock and barrel. He was responsible for getting Obama his politically necessary Harvard Law admission, and paid the bills.
Obama is overtly choking America´s oil production and devaluing the dollar. He has overtly, although inadvertently, promised to help the Soviets implement their agenda.
The administrations´s frantic, risible cover-up of the benghazi operation is proof positive of mischief that mustn´t be made public, and whatever that mischief might be, the fact that it was occurring in a swamp of terrorism and a flood of heavy weaponry, means it wasn´t a trivial endeavor.
It is nothing short of astounding that Congress isn´t all over this bizarre Presidency and its baldly treasonous foreign affairs, domestic economic piracy, and public deceit.
Is free stuff worth this?

Why an ambassador? Why did they send in an ambassador to clean up the arms that had been sent to the Libyan rebels? Surely such a task could be handled by the CIA operatives. Was the ambassador a trade? E.g. the terrorists capture the ambassador, demand he be traded for the blind sheik or other terrorists. Instead, either by accident or on purpose he got killed and the whole scheme blew up? There are a lot of layers to his onion.

I can not believe some of the posters here. You actually say that you have faith in your leaders here in America? Have you lost your mind? I quit trusting my leaders while lying on a hill on the Laotian border in Vietnam in 1969, near death. And by the way, Chris Stevens was a CIA agent in ambassador clothing. If the ex seals (who were CIA agents) were involved in this rogue administration´s weapons running to kill 40,000 innocent civilians....I have no remorse for them either. We have a rogue President and administration, it is time for the officer corps to speak up....or they should be imprisoned some day as well. I think there is also a connection with the gun running to the Mexican cartel. Lot of weapons running going on around here.

It is very possible Obama is doing the bidding of Saudi Arabia. Two reasons: 1. The Saudis financed the education of some American blacks looking ahead to the time when they could be useful in our government. I´ll bet Obama was one of them. 2. We have all forgotten the deep bow Obama gave the king of Saudi Arabia. What seemed like a religious gesture may well have been an acknowledgment of Obama´s obedience to the authority of the king.

#34 thanks for the link to part II of the article. Very chilling, but the fact we are able to read these articles shows that Obama and his goons were not able to hide everything from the American people. In fact Obama may not care that some of us do know what really happened and why. After all, we are a very small minority and 99.9% of American citizens will go along blissfully ignorant and won´t care, as long as they get thier free Obamaphones and checks from the government. But we should remember how close we are to World War III. This is a very "hot" cold war and it could degrade into a shooting war very quickly, with the American people the losers in all this. Think of $20/gallon gas in the near future.

Our ambassador to Libya was fluent in Arabic and knew a lot of people on all sides around the Mid-East.
When dealing with Arabs (even in lowly garbage barge fee negotiations, (my vast experience)) it is very advantageous to have someone, at least as translator, that is on your side. I would imagine you would definitely need talent on your side to engage in successful arms distribution.

Posters who relate Obama´s education with Saudi money via Khalid Mansour and Percy Sutton did their homework long ago, some of us before he got elected the first time. The California Public Utilities Commission´s investigators said the fine was an appropriate remedy for dozens of safety violations extending back several decades, and said the company´s shareholders should shoulder the cost, not the utility's customers.

And on Sunday, in the hours before she would be sentenced to three months in federal prison for failing to pay taxes on millions of dollars in income, Hill handed over more than $970,000 in back taxes and penalties to the federal government and the state of New Jersey. Port Jefferson, N.Y. - With the beaming smiles of newlyweds, Paul Forziano and Hava Samuels hold hands, exchange adoring glances and complete each other´s sentences. Their first wedding dance, he recalls, was to the song "Unchained ..." ´´Melody," she chimes in. They spend their days together in the performing arts education center where they met. But every night, they must part ways. Forziano goes to his group home. His wife goes to hers. The mentally disabled couple is not allowed to share a bedroom by the state-sanctioned nonprofits that run the group homes — a practice the newlyweds

When it first became clear that the CIA’s Benghazi talking points had been altered, many of us viewed the White House as the prime suspect. After all, it served President Obama’s political purposes to claim, at the height of a political campaign in which he was taking credit for the fall of al Qaeda, that the death of a U.S. ambassador was down to spontaneous outrage over a video, rather than pre-planned terrorism. It turns out, however, that the State Department was the prime culprit. It was State that pushed back hard against the original talking points.

Republican lawmakers, who have spent months seeking to tie President Obama to last year’s deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, are increasingly focusing their probe on a new target: former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton. The GOP-led investigation of the Sept. 11, 2012, assaults that killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three others now centers heavily on the State Department and whether officials there deliberately misled the public about the nature of the assault. Three State Department officials are scheduled to testify before a House committee on Wednesday about the Benghazi attack and its aftermath.

If ponies rode men and grass ate cows, And cats were chased into holes by the mouse … If summer were spring and the other way round, Then all the world would be upside down. Once in a long while, an event evokes one of my favorite historical images: the British Army band, at Lord Cornwallis’ surrender at Yorktown which sealed the Americans’ revolutionary victory, playing “The World Turned Upside Down.” In this case, the event is the dramatic change over the past two weeks

The Seattle Police Department collected more than 700 guns during a buyback in January, and now city officials have a plan for what to do with them. Mayor Mike McGinn is expected to announce Tuesday that they´ll be melted into bricks carrying messages of peace, and the bricks will be placed around the city. The buyback program was announced a month after last December´s elementary school massacre in Newtown, Conn., by city leaders sick of hearing about gun violence. Private sponsors including Amazon.com contributed tens of thousands of dollars

Former Gov. Mark Sanford completed the trail to political redemption Tuesday with a win over Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch to reclaim his old seat in Congress. Sanford defeated Colbert Busch 54 percent to 45 percent, according to full unofficial results. Turnout was heavier than expected, with about 32 percent of the district’s 455,702 registered voters casting ballots. Sanford, who has never lost an election, returns to the 1st District seat he held for three terms from 1995-2001. It’s a remarkable comeback for a man many pundits had written off after his highly publicized affair with an Argentine

Top ABC News editor Don Ennis walked into his Manhattan office on Friday in a “little black dress” and a brunette bobbed wig and announced to colleagues that from now on, he would like to be known as Dawn. Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, tells Benghazi witnesses that "death is a part of life." CUMMINGS: And, as I listen to your testimony I could not help but think of something that I said very recently -- two years ago now -- in a eulogy for a relative. I said that death is a part of life, so often we have to find a way to make life a part of death. And, I guess the reason why I´m saying that, going back to something Mr. Nordstrom said, he wanted,

There was tragic incompetence, plainly, in the Obama administration’s handling of the Benghazi attacks, and even possibly some political calculation. It is a record that may well come to haunt Hillary Clinton, the first Secretary of State to lose an ambassador in the field in more than three decades, if she runs for president in 2016. But the obvious Republican effort to turn this inquiry into the Democratic (Obama) version of the Iraq intelligence scandal that has tarred the GOP since the George W. Bush years -- led by that least-credible of champions, the almost-always-wrong Darrell Issa --

British physicist Stephen Hawking has dropped plans to attend a major international conference in Israel in June, citing his belief that he should respect a Palestinian call to boycott contacts with Israeli academics. The University of Cambridge released a statement Wednesday indicating that Hawking had told the Israelis last week that he would not be attending "based on advice from Palestinian academics that he should respect the boycott." University officials said they had "previously understood" that Hawking´s decision was based solely on health concerns — he is 71 and has severe disabilities — but had now been told otherwise by Hawking´s office.

Ahead of the Benghazi hearings in which three witnesses are set to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade invited Fox News analyst Lt. Col. Ralph Peters to discuss the issue. Peters was unflinching in his criticism of the “cowardly” Obama administration — and the “establishment media” that aids it. “Is this a national security coverup?” Kilmeade asking, explaining that the witness testimony is expected to say the administration was deceitful in its handling of the situation. “The administration, facing the election, went into panic mode, wanted to contain it,”
