Obama’s Perpetual Campaign:
When Will The Nation Tire
Of Not Having An Executive
In The White House?

Mediaite, by Noah Rothman

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 11/28/2012 9:03:54 PM

With a dire fiscal crisis bearing down on the nation and the need for closed-door negotiations and face-saving compromises for squeezed members of Congress never more apparent, President Barack Obama has embarked on yet another political campaign. This time, he is agitating for public support for increased tax rates on the nation’s high-income earners as part of a comprehensive resolution to the fiscal cliff. But higher tax rates is the only policy prescription the president campaigned on in 2012 – if he has any mandate whatsoever from his victory, it is for higher taxes.

Comments:
The morons who voted for him have no idea what he´s doing. 0bama sure doesn´t care, that´s very obvious. To him being president consists of one big party and always campaigning. Leadership is completely foreign to that incompetent Marxist.

Frankly, I stopped caring what he says or does during his first campaign.

Our family has created a ´work around´ the problem. We ignore him and his ilk.

Name one CEO of a Fortune 500 company that employs Obama´s tactics for leadership. You cannot. They have nothing to do with leadership, only with sabotage.

He has to be on the road. Staying in the oval office would mean he may have to make a decision and he is incapable of that. He enjoys traveling and Valerie is there to handle everything.

Did you notice the supernumeraries behind Big Brother when he gave his "I have a pen" speech yesterday?? Two African Americans, possibly one Asian and one Hispanic, the rest Caucasians.

Unfortunately, we are dealing with an electorate that has been conditioned by 60 years of television and movies to value style over substance. So long as Obama "looks" presidential, and swans around "acting" presidential, they will still look upon him with adolescent ecstasy. Obama doesn´t have to DO anything, except act in his own cheesy ripoff of "The West Wing."

Even if we were invaded tomorrow by debt collectors in the form of the modern successors to the old Chinese Ninth Route Army, the nation would shed a sentimental tear as they saw Obama with his hands up in surrender, and they would call him a "Great President." Oh, and the nation would blame the whole debacle on the REPUBLICANS.

Interesting to me the comments about "ignoring" Obama. I found that that is what I have to do to get on with things. i click off any image, ignore any quote of his and refuse to listen to any so call ´fair and balanced´ arguments between the two parties concerning his latest moves..
The last two French magazines I received in the mail had Obama on the cover, and articles within. I immediately threw them in the trash. He does not exist for me.

We simply are ignorant about the president´s motives. Krauthammer and Thune think the president will be concerned about his legacy and will therefore give in on tax policy. I don´t think he is concerned about anything except the downfall of capitalism and going over the cliff will allow him to make more excutive rules to combat those evil Republicans that caused it.?? He is on TV now urging the citizens to call their congress-people. The people will back his executive orders when the next severe recession occurs. This is how Hitler got elected in Germany.

As that voter group continues to grow by way of runaway mass uncontrolled illegal immigration, and a lot of other factors, we can probably say that we have not seen anything yet in that respect!

Who is the nation? The 47% takers plus the 47% taken and the middle 6 taken in?

The takers will notice when their free "gifts" end and the taken in when obamacare tax hits them personally.

It is still the economy, stupid, but we are living on borrowed money that the takers and taken in have no clue that they personally will ever have to pay anything on.

So i read about the majority of Americans think the government shouldn´t be in the health care business. Where were they on election day? LOL, ya just gotta laugh and go about your own private lives.

The DC Rs really are idiots. Obama talks about taxing the super wealthy, and the Rs talk about spending cuts. Who will win that PR war? The Rs had better quickly frame the debate in such a manner that their position, the right one, is seen to benefit the middle class. Is there no one there bright enough to figure this out?

Obama is basking in the glow of his ever approving propaganda press. Valerie is running the WH -- albeit more obviously now than before. For some bizarre reason Hillary Clinton remains SOS when common decency and professional incompetence demanded her resignation on 9/11/2012. Every single person, legal or illegal, Dem or Independent, who voted once or more for this is responsible.

Obama has something just like Slick Clinton has; they both have a need to be adored. So long as Obama campaigns in the right places he gets his needs met. That´s what the uneducated ill-informed masses voted for. They can´t see beyond their front doors. They can´t see what will happen to the United States and how it will eventually impact them. They want their phones and they want them now.

Meanwhile the ´´slaves´´, those who create this nirvana for the masses, keep on working longer hours, pay more for their necessities and angrily watch the masses spend food stamps and welfare checks on luxuries that the workers can no longer afford. Same goes for those of us who are retired trying to make ends meet. Obama knows he will never be in this situation and has no sympathy, certainly no empathy, for us. He just wants to make sure that ´´his kind´´ gets what he believes is their right, and it delights him to take it from us.

WASHINGTON — Kathleen Sebelius, the health and human services secretary, is resigning, ending a stormy five-year tenure marred by the disastrous rollout of President Obama’s signature legislative achievement, the Affordable Care Act. How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

A caveat right off the bat: RAND’s estimate only runs through March 28 whereas the actual deadline for signing up was March 31st. Given the crush of traffic on Healthcare.gov in late March, many more people could have signed up over those last three days than were captured by these numbers. On the other hand, the White House was claiming six million sign-ups as of March 27. There’s no way to reconcile that with RAND’s data. One of them is wrong. Maybe both, in fact. There’s a big spike in Medicaid, just as everyone expected. There’s a less big but

A new review is questioning the effectiveness of two key drugs enlisted in the fight against influenza and in turn the investments by governments to stockpile the drugs in the event of a global flu outbreak. The antiviral drugs Tamiflu (oseltamivir) and Relenza (zanamivir ) are commonly used to treat influenza in healthy adults and children. In the case of Tamiflu, the drug does shorten symptoms of influenza by about half a day - as the manufacturer suggests - but there is insufficient evidence to support claims that it reduces hospital admissions or serious complications, such as confirmed pneumonia or

Eric Holder ventured off script in a speech Wednesday to the National Action Network, the organization led by MSNBC host and recently-exposed FBI informant Al Sharpton. “I’m pleased to note that the last five years have been defined by significant strides and by lasting reforms,” said Holder at the conference of black activists, before improvising “even in the face, even in the face, of unprecedented, unwarranted, ugly, and divisive adversity.” “If you don’t believe that, if you look at the way, forget about me, forget about me, if you look at the way the attorney general of the United States was treated

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) could face up to five years in federal prison for obstructing a Congressional proceeding. On Wednesday, Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) and five Subcommittee Chairmen on the committee sent a letter to Ranking Member Cummings demanding an explanation for his staff’s queries from the IRS, why the Minority hid these efforts from the Majority, and why the Ranking Member denied such actions by his staff at a February Subcommittee hearing: “Although you have previously denied that your staff made inquiries to the IRS about conservative organization True the Vote that may have led to additional

As a former President of The Most Powerful Country In The World, George W Bush has significantly greater access to world leaders than most budding artists. (Snip) Art critics have pointed out that a number of the 30 portraits in the exhibition appear to be based on images thrown up by a cursory search of the person´s name in Google Images. In some cases the portrait seems to have been based on the very first image result on the search engine. Rather remarkably, even the portrait of his own father, someone who he surely could have asked to sit for him, appears to be based on an Associated Press portrait which appears on the first page of

Although the news media and Hollywood relish telling stories about horrific crimes and serial killers, they are strangely silent about Dr. Kermit Gosnell, an abortionist who killed living, viable babies by snipping their spinal cords with scissors, and who is “America’s most prolific serial killer,” said actor Kevin Sorbo and his wife Sam Jenkins in a video to promote funding for a movie about Gosnell. “Kermit Gosnell is America’s most prolific serial killer,” says Kevin Sorbo, who starred in the TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. “For more than three decades he was an abortion doctor in Philadelphia, where he

This morning I clicked on a link to a Red State website article concerning “The War on Women” and “Paycheck Equality” and got quite a surprise (the same thing happens when a Firefox user goes directly to the article). Nanny Firefox posted a political opinion on my screen before allowing me to proceed to read the article. This message didn’t appear when I accessed a second article which met with Firefox’s political commissar’s approval. Here’s what Firefox said: Careful Now! (shouldn’t they have said “Achtung! or “Verboten!” or something similar?). This website could not be displayed by Firefox because it is not
