Rick Warren Says Obama
Deification is Blasphemy

Fox News, by Todd Starnes

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 11/28/2012 4:10:21 PM

Rick Warren, one of the nation’s most prominent pastors, told Fox News he is extremely concerned about recent attempts in the media to deify President Obama. He was especially disturbed comments made by comedian Jamie Foxx who called the president “our Lord and Savior.” (Snip) “That sent shivers up my spine,” said Warren. “There’s a word for that – it’s called blasphemy. It’s wrong.” Warren is pastor of Saddleback Church in southern California. He’s also the author of an expanded edition of “The Purpose Driven Life – What on Earth Am I Here For?”

Comments:
Do ya think? And yet the spineless leftists wouldn´t dream of doing this to the Prophet Muhammad. Depicting 0bama as such would have been way more appropriate.

I never criticize pastors, teachers, preachers, etc. but I make an exception for Warren.

It is blasphemy, but I´m not interested in anything Warren has to say.

I agree, it´s blasphemy - but you will not see Christians killing the artist and rioting in the streets and strapping bombs to our bodies - true Christianity lets a person make their own choice as to what they will do with Christ, no matter how much it may offend us or how much we may disagree with their choice - it´s all freedom of choice!

Thank you fellow Ldotters who see or have seen through RW. I don´t care how popular Warren is, I think he is close to a charlatan.

Now after four horrendous years under Obama, he disapproves of our Fraud-in-Chief´s deification? Old Rick should have done a little more research into Barry´s past and "convictions" back in 2008. Now it´s like the old saying: "It´s like closing the barn door after the horse gets out".

Although Warren has no credibility as far as I´m concerned, he hits the nail on the head. Remember obamacare, big ears, and Kenyan birth. BO ultimately owned those terms, saying his health care bill is because he cares. It was a PERJORATIVE, but now they are cool with it. He routinely makes fun of us by making fun of his ears and his Kenyan birth. And the eaters love it. His comedic repertoire has evil undertones and being president for life and messiah will be the buzz words in 2016. He will slowly simmer into it, so cut it out. For starters, it is obamaNOcare. Learn it.

If Foxx did not say that he would NOT be invited back to the white house for dinner with his lord and savior, lord messiah o´bama
and may be given weak movies.
I think the state controlled media wanted to
see how the people would react to Foxx´s
statement.
What Foxx stated is nothing new,Farrahkan called o´bama the"Messiah".
The state controlled media dubbed o´bama the "messiah" so foxx is just being a good

As far a Rick Warren goes...who cares!!??

The Obama administration is falling into a state of passivity on national security because it cannot bring itself to fully admit that the war against al-Qaeda is a war. The president’s subordinates, according to a Washington Post story today, say that they would like to bring the al-Qaeda prisoners held at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan back to the U.S. for trial. This is a terrible idea that should have been permanently squashed by congressional rejection of Attorney General Eric Holder’s plan to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in downtown New York City

Former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is facing harsh criticism from some Tea Partiers after his Tuesday evening remarks denouncing those who want to fight to defund Obamacare in the upcoming continuing resolution (CR) that funds government operations. Speaking to a New Hampshire GOP fundraised, the failed 2012 GOP candidate said he opposes Obamacare but shunned efforts by conservatives to try to defund it. “I badly want ObamaCare to go away, and stripping it of funds has appeal,” Romney said at the GOP fundraiser, according to The Hill. “But we need to exercise great care about any talk

Lerner says "everyone" was "screaming at" the IRS to stop the flood of money pouring into the 2010 elections through 501(c)(4) groups as a result of Citizens United. Lerner spoke to a small group at Duke´s Sanford School of Public Policy on October 19, 2010, just two weeks before the wave election that brought the Tea Party and Republicans significant gains in Congress. While lawmakers left Capitol Hill for the August recess, Mr. Stockman, a Republican, said he’s filed a House resolution that would require any decision to increase the nation’s debt limit or any continuing resolution to fund the government to include language that “constructively repeals” the Affordable Care Act by refusing to appropriate funds for it. During trial, the young Wolcott admitted to killing his family but pleaded insanity due to mental illness compounded by weeks of huffing airplane glue. For nearly a year, we have had no answer to why the administration lied about Benghazi — why it told the world, not to mention the parents of our murdered SEALs at the funeral of their sons, that the cause of that fatal conflagration was an anti-Islamic video no one saw, when the various arms of our executive branch (White House, State and intelligence) already knew, or strongly suspected, it was a terror attack orchestrated by al-Qaeda affiliates. You only have to read the now infamous talking points to know that. That this lie was deeply immoral is obvious.
