There is something that doesn´t ring true about this meeting between Romney and Obama - it doesn´t pass the smell test.

I have lost most of my respect for Romney.

Obama wins - the USA and Romney lose.

Now that blaming Bush has worn thin, he´s lining up Romney to take the heat for his failing policies.

The fact that Carney can get away with saying things like this and not be totally blasted by the lame stream media shows just how stupid and biased they really are

Obama- Please Mitt help me. I need you to convince your fellow republicans to do everything that I ask so we can fix the economy.
Mitt- I´ll get back to you on that.

Romney “has some ideas” that might “interest the president”? Right. That would be the president who has yet to provide any leadership whatsoever in the budget talks, has literally no business experience, and spent his entire campaign tearing down Romney’s ideas?

No, this is all about appearance. -0-bama will be the one displaying humble magnanimity in victory – reaching out to the opposition to demonstrate his good faith. Obviously, since he doesn’t even take his own debt commission’s recommendations, nothing Romney suggests will be used openly. -0-bama will try to use Romney’s ideas in a clandestine way so as to be able to claim credit for any success they achieve. It´s a photo op.

This reminds me of two divorced parents who hate eachother and one is threatening to kill the kid so the other won´t have it.

So what is Mitt willing to do to help BO out? He was asked, he did not waltz into the WH so cut him so slack. And if he does assist in anyway, is he ready to step aside and let BO take ALL the credit because you all know that´s how he rolls. Will anyone here be gratefull Mitt assisted and was actually successful.

To this date, Clinton takes credit for welfare reform when in fact it was a Republican Congress that made it happen. It´s maddening.

I think this meeting has to do with what to do with the train going over the cliff or somethin similar.

Romney should say simply that his ideas were rejected by Obama...and then say "good luck."
