Realizing their agenda is so extreme they can´t let anything get in their way.
No need to have to compromise or negotiate.
I think this is all a bluff though to use in the fiscal cliff negotiations.
Far too many Dems up for re-election in 2014, and many are old, white, liberal Democrats.

People around the world are mocking Morsi for his grand takeover of Egypt but the same thing is happening here albeit in slow motion.Government checks and balances are a huge hindrance to Obama and the left. He´s even told foreign leaders he hates having to go through congress.

The Patrick administration clamped down the lid yesterday on Herald requests for details of Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s government benefits, citing the dead terror mastermind’s right to privacy. The one clear thing that came out of last week´s chaotic activity in Boston, Massachusetts is that real reporters were missing. For that matter, they´ve been missing since last year´s attack in Benghazi. From Benghazi, the Gosnell abortion trial, gun control debates, immigration and then the Boston Marathon bombings, television news reporting has become positively painful to watch. The First Amendment to the Constitution grants freedom of the press but this was supposed to endow it with a responsibility to be the people´s watchdog. The modern Fourth Estate represented by the mainstream media has made a mockery of this privilege.
