But first digest this article. I had wondered when this internal union dissent would begin in earnest. As Taranto says, the unions are about collective bargaining, but made up of individuals. Thus, the power of one.

A strike at Caterpillar last summer? Seems as though I´ve been hearing about that company dealing with a strike almost continually for the last 15 years.

too late...you, in the unions, like everyone else are ´done´...we are finished as a ´free´ America....reap what you sow.

With the moral outrage of those who had faced death to prevent six year old children from working 18 hour days, the unionists demanded $75.00 per hour and drove most American industry overseas while blaming the evil business owners and stockholders.

Choke on it.

Let´s see, the union bosses give union dues to elect liberal Democrats who then increase rules, regulations and taxes so they can support more gov´t employees.

They see useful opportunities to dig for coal being closed by Democrats - who needs the Caterpiller products there?

They see useful opportunities for drilling for oil, building refineries, pipelines, and transportation being denied by Democrats.

All those new energy sources would help reduce dependency, help lower individual´s expenses, and would also help increase tax revenues for their local city, county and state coffers that would help pay for teachers, police and firefighters.

Union workers better start wising up to the fact that the union honchos earning hundreds of thousands would rather you, the union worker, lose your job. Every place they burrow into, the company fails.
