States Choose Own Paths
With One-Party Governments

In Washington, Americans have two-party government, with a Democratic president and Senate and a Republican House. We had it before November´s election and will have it again for the next two years. Looking back from 2014, we will have had two-party government for most of the preceding two decades, for six years of Bill Clinton´s presidency, three and a half years of George W. Bush´s and four years of Barack Obama´s. But in most of the 50 states, American voters seem to have opted for something very much like one-party government.

There is still sanity in half of the country. The sad thing is they will have to bail out the irresponsible ones like CA, IL, and NY.

What am I missing here? Obama had two party government for 4 years?

What about the super majority in the Senate for two years and a demoncratic House in the same period?

Sanity exist in about 2/3rds of the country. The problem is they don´t seem to believe the other third is willing to lie, cheat and steal for power. They better wake up and clear the mentally ill third out.

Despite being “the law of the land”, President Obama is telling a lot of people to ignore ObamaCare; but does that absolve you from following it? The Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as ObamaCare, is now in full effect, or it is supposed to be. To avert certain political disaster for the Democratic Party, Obama has issued, as of March 5, 2014, 20 unilateral executive actions to “delay” ObamaCare mandates and taxes. The President has the authority to pardon, but he cannot pre-pardon your crimes, just as a priest cannot pre-absolve your uncommitted sins; and just as a priest

Large numbers of Americans, especially those with less education, continue to have difficulty finding work, undermining arguments that there is a “labor shortage” and need for increased immigration, a new study from the Center for Immigration Studies finds. The report, provided exclusively to Breitbart News, shows that the employment situation of American workers has gradually declined over the past 14 years since 2000. The number of working age adults who are not working has risen relatively quickly in the last 15 years. In 2000, 35.8 million native-born Americans between 18 and 65 years weren´t working. You have probably seen all of the ridiculous speculating about the GOP nomination in 2016. This is still speculating, but my sincere hope is you don’t think it’s ridiculous too. Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is laying the foundation for his presidential bid in concrete and steel. First, forget about Jeb Bush unless you want to hand Hillary eight years in the White House. The latest Rasmussen poll shows her leading Jeb in a general election 47 percent to 33. His name is Bush and to the general public the specifics of how smart he is doesn’t matter one iota. How would you feel if a police officer you knew for 20 years told you that if an order were issued to confiscate your guns, he wouldn’t hesitate to “kick your door in”? This was the precisely the experience Connecticut resident, Navy veteran and former firefighter John Cinque had after commenting on his state’s 2013 violation of the Second Amendment. The law in question criminalizes the sale of magazines holding more than 10 rounds and also certain semi-automatic rifles, and mandates that all grandfathered weapons and magazines must be registered with the state.
