´Two and a Half Men´ actor
calls his show ´filth´

Associated Press, by David Bauder

Original Article

Posted By:DaddyO, 11/26/2012 5:56:29 PM

The teenage actor who plays the half in the hit CBS comedy "Two and a Half Men" says in a video posted online by a Christian church that the show is "filth" and that viewers shouldn´t watch it. Nineteen-year-old Angus T. Jones has been on the show, which used to feature bad-boy actor Charlie Sheen and remains heavy with sexual innuendo, since he was 10 but says he doesn´t want to be on it anymore. "Please stop watching it," Jones said. "Please stop filling your head with filth."

God BLESS him for speaking the cold hard truth. If even one young adult pauses to think, the persecution heaped on him will be worth it.

Another Hollywood mental midget lectures us on morals. Just give back all the money they gave you for your part in it and we´re good. Otherwise you´re having it both ways.

And....as a grumpy old blue collar type who was a bachelor for 40+ years, I thought it was all kinds of funny. Not for kids but still funny.

I like Berta, the house cleaner.

I listen to live streaming most of the day, and commercials for this trash are played and it is filthy and highly offensive.
I would never watch it and hate that I have to listen to the clips from it in the commercials. It is not suitable for children to hear.
WHAT kind of people think that it is entertainment?

Dittos I feel so much better since I kicked Time-Warner cable out of my house over a year ago. Why pay money to have that garbage pumped into your home? The stuff on TV today isn´t fit for human consumption. I get much better quality news online as well as learn something worthwhile. There should be a general boycott of the present day TV/Mainstream Media industry.

I only watched it long enough to find out how disgusting it was. In prime time at that. I wondered how this boys parents could condone him being on that show.
As for poster 3s sarcasm, maybe just maybe this young man is growing up and becoming a man.
I think in the earlier years, his parents went along with it because of the money. Maybe that is coming to an end.

I watched the show when Angus was young, and I thought it hilarious. Then I found it pushing the boundaries somewhat. I recommended it to a friend as we bemoaned the passing of Everybody Loves Raymond, and she got back to me with the comment, ´´not my type of humor´´. So I watched some more of it and found it to also be not my type of humor. I check in on it once in a while and young man Angus has got it right. It´s a filthy show and totally degrading to women, not to mention to some less sexually active men like Charlie´s brother. Good for Angus for speaking out. He certainly had to grow up fast during those eight years.

To the critics on this site:

Many of us have done many things others found disgusting for many years before we recognized the "filth" we were involved with at work or play.

As Jesus said, "Let he that is without sin, cast the first stone."

Angus T. Jones was defined as the "half" of "2 & 1/2 Men" in this article. OH REALLY? I think the "men" of the series were always less controlled in life than Mr. Jones now appears to be.

As a man, he has now given his "walking papers", if the powers that be accept them,to his employer.

Who, among the critics at this site, would or have been so bold to "openly" be criticial of their incompetent or over-bearing, or "filthy" work, bosses, or companies to sacrifice their next paycheck?

Stones?

I say, Bravo, Mr Jones, on your brave stand, young man!

I say dummy because his brother Emilio seems to be the smart one. Anyway Angus will have the Hollyweirdos gunning for him now because we know how they feel about us "Jesus freaks" who cling to our religion. I think though that this brave young man can weather the storm and become stronger for it.

Sunday’s announcement that Piers Morgan had lost his show at CNN was hardly unexpected. The ratings for the coveted 9 p.m. time slot were abysmal, dropping last week to just 270,000 viewers — about one-eighth of what Fox News’s Megyn Kelly got in the same time slot. Some, such as Variety magazine, have speculated that the low ratings are due to Morgan’s single-minded push for gun control. That might have something to do with it, but much more is going on. In all the thousands of television and radio interviews that I have done over the years, my appearances on Morgan’s

With Chris Christie in deep trouble, Republican poobahs are reportedly looking to Jeb Bush to save their party in 2016. The former two-term governor of Florida speaks fluent Spanish, is a convert to Catholicism, and has high name recognition. Jeb could raise millions of dollars over night by just saying “yes” to running. Despite all this, there are strong reasons Republicans should say no to him. 1. His last name is poison. Let’s face it, if Jeb Bush had the last name of Something Else he would have already run for president in 2008 or 2012. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll registered voters were asked if they would definitely NOT vote for Jeb Bush and 50 percent said they would not.

The human kindling that makes up the flammable Republican base may soon burst into flames, again. Portions of that excitable cohort are looking — some with fawn-like eyes filled with hurt, others with sparks shooting from eyes narrowed like gun slits — askance at other Republicans urging Jeb Bush to seek the 2016 presidential nomination. A candidacy by Florida’s former governor would be desirable. But if Republicans want to avoid intra-party carnage, they should be very careful about doing what The Post recently reported: “Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a behind-the-scenes campaign to draft

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is "looking" at banning the sale of tobacco at military installations. According to one military publication, Hagel appears to support it. "As the Navy considers banning tobacco sales on all bases and ships, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel gave a strong endorsement of the review Monday, and suggested that he would be in favor of a ban," reports Stars and Stripes. “I don’t know if there’s anybody in America who still thinks that tobacco is good for you,” Stars and Stripes quotes Hagel as saying. “We don’t allow smoking in any of our government buildings. Restaurants, states, [and]

Sarah Palin continues to act in ways that confirm some of the more negative things said about her. For example, she’s taken to Facebook to attack the most recent budget plan by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan.(Snip)Whatever differences Ms. Palin may have with the Ryan plan–and perhaps she’ll take the time to offer an actual critique of if rather than a Facebook entry with lots of upper case words–it’s hardly a joke. But what might elicit a roll of the eyes is comparing Ms. Palin’s views now versus what they were nearly four years ago. Consider this: On December

Senate majority leader Harry Reid has a whole page on his official Senate.gov website devoted to revealing "THE FACTS ABOUT THE KOCH BROTHERS." One of the alleged facts promoted on Reid´s website is that the Kochs do not pay any corporate taxes: “They are known for bankrolling conservative, Libertarian and Tea Party causes and became poster boys for corporate tax reform last year when an Obama Administration official suggested Koch is organized as an S Corp. and so pays no corporate level taxes.” The claim that the Koch brothers don´t pay corporate income taxes was first made by former White House official

Washington - The company leading the legal challenge against birth control coverage under the new health care law offers its workers a retirement plan that includes investments in companies making contraceptive and abortion drugs. Hobby Lobby Stores Inc. has a 401(k) plan featuring several mutual funds investing in pharmaceutical firms that produce intrauterine birth control devices, emergency contraceptive pills and drugs used in abortion procedures, according to Labor Department documents and a review of fund portfolios.
