The best thing Republicans can do in MASS is withdraw from political activity. Make it a one party state with virtually no opposition to the communists the well heeled residents think will lead the country in the right direction. Like the fake Indian woman who practices law without a license. Maybe the can elect a transgender or an ex drug addict like Obama. Wouldn´t that be lovely? JUNEAU -- The Alaska Senate on Sunday afternoon approved the oil-tax bill that passed the House 13 hours before, sending to Gov. Sean Parnell the measure he had sought to save billions of dollars for Alaska´s leading industry. (Snip) Parnell said that Alaska´s current tax regime, which he backed as lieutenant governor in 2007 when it was pushed by Gov. Sarah Palin, is broken. A Brooklyn federal judge has ordered the Food and Drug Administration to make the morning-after pill available to females of all ages without a prescription. Judge Edward Korman on Friday reversed the FDA´s 2011 decision limiting the over-the-counter availability of the emergency contraceptive known as Plan B to women 17 and older. He gave the agency 30 days to decide only whether the pills’ package should include additional labeling. The standards for determining whether a consumer can understand how to use an over-the-counter drug safely and effectively is the same for aspirin as it is for contraceptives, Korman noted.

PITTSBURGH - The U.S. Federal Reserve´s latest survey of regional economic trends is mentioning the Marcellus Shale natural gas boom. The Fed´s latest Beige Book issued Wednesday mentions that Pennsylvania banks see customers paying down loans with natural gas royalty money. In neighboring Ohio the Fed says shale gas activity is expanding at a robust pace, but some auto dealers are worried they´re lose technicians to energy companies. Warren crushed and humiliated, first, federal banking regulators, and then Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke on why both sit on their hands while big banks keep shafting average Americans — even though average Americans’ tax dollars bailed them out. Warren did this calmly, graciously, politely, in complete control and without ever reading a note. And she reduced both Bernanke and Elisse Walter, chairman of the mighty Securities and Exchange Commission, to gulping and stammering.

Watertown, Mass.– A number of gun shots were fired near Franklin Street in Watertown Friday night and it was believed that suspect number 2 in the Boston Marathon bombings had been shot. FOX 25's Bob Ward reported that as many 30 shots were fired in the neighborhood. Ward reported that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the man known as suspect 2, was shot by police. So once again, no good deed goes unpunished.
