You would think that this was a third world nation where people went without all year ´round except for Black Friday!
I fail to see what Victoria´s "Secret" really is when you see a mob that just can´t wait to get in there to buy nothing! There is no Black Friday deal good enough to expose myself to that chaos. Good grief! Pure gluttony on display! I am truly living in a world I don´t understand anymore. We are a lost nation of misplaced priorities.

I´ve been out a couple of years ago to buy an Xbox for son. I made sure I showed the same character then as I do every day. shudder! I don´t go out now. Nothing is worth this chaos.

I honestly would not go out on Black Friday even if they told me I would get it for free. I despise the crowds, the traffic, the rudeness, the noise and most of all the greed. I stayed home listening to all my favorite Christmas music, my favorite talk show hosts online and putting up my Christmas tree.

I´m from liberal ma where other people raise your child. The important question, for a liberal, is not being asked.

As for Black Friday, never have, never will.

I have a tradition of staying home the Friday after Thanksgiving. I look forward to and really enjoy the day. There is no electronic gadget or anything else that could entice me to wait hours at midnight or 4 am. I do not shop on Thanksgiving day. I leave room for the people who like this sort of madness and they can have it.

Poor kid. Shame on the father, he should be having his kid taken away from him.

There is nothing out there for sale that I would buy that would be worth dealing with the undignified chaos and total anarchy of one of these sale days. And I second Judith, how did this guy get the tv home without his car and the tot?

All it says to me is that they charge too much for the stuff the rest of the year.

Mrs C went shopping yesterday and said there were no crowds at all. She said it seemed like a regular day. She thinks the insane mobs all went into the big cities to lose their minds.

How much of all that was bought with taxpayer money?

Yesterday i was on my tractor shredding my pasture when a shear bolt broke on the shredder. I needed a 3 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch bolt so I went to our local Tractor Supply. We live in a small rural Texas town of 4500. Well that place was packed with folks buying everything from bags of feed to toy tractors and trucks. I figured that Tractor Supply wouldn´t be crowded on black Friday but I was wrong. Took me a half hour to get in and out with the bolt.

I´m with #7. I´ve never participated in "Black Friday", and don´t intend to start. I´d rather enjoy the day eating leftovers and getting out my Christmas decorations!

Obama voter. He could of at least used his Obamaphone to call for someone to watch the kid.

The guy knew that the government would take the kid off his hands and find him a nice home in the foster care system. Presumably, the girl friend was agreeable. I´m sure he and his friend were able to get the TV loaded in a vehicle and safely home.

Sadly, one of those pictures is from my hometown. I spent yesterday at home, reading and resting up. There is nothing I want badly enough to make me get into those mobs.

The big problem is the boxes for these flat screen TVs just don´t make as good of a crib as the CRT TV boxes did.

Classic decades old TV news spot about a poor family. Camera shows the family is so poor the baby has to sleep in the box for the new color TV. In that day the news guy actually had to guts to ask about the logic of their priorities. It would never be asked today.

The wife and I intended to "brave the crowds" to pick up my new glasses. We couldn´t find any crowds to brave.

The optometrist´s office is in a city of about 6,000. The Walmart parking lot was fuller than usual, but not horrible looking for Friday. The parking downtown was normal for Friday evening.

The traffic jam on the way home consisted of dodging raccoons, etc, in the road.

I´m glad I don´t live in MA.
