Mideast: Celebration within Gaza after the bombing of a bus filled with innocent Israeli civilians is an object lesson on the so-called Palestine question. Those who would celebrate such a cowardly act are savages. No one can imagine Washington´s troops firing shots to celebrate a supporter of American independence trying to kill a group of Royalist civilians. During the Cold War, U.S. support for Lech Walesa´s Solidarity would have dried up if he handed out candy after a Polish nationalist targeted, say, innocent Muscovites going to work. We may live in a complex world, but evil is identifiable even
Islam IS NOT compatible with Western Civilization. Sadly, there seems to be a majority of liberal/progressive thought infected citizens who think differently. I fear for my Country and my way of life....
The truth in this article should be all we need to know regarding who the bad guys are in this situation. How the world can ignore this evil is beyond comprehension. It makes no logical sense. However, this might explain at lot to those who believe the Bible.
Genesis 16: 11,12
11 The angel of the Lord also said to her: "You are now pregnant and you will give birth to a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard of your misery.
12 He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone´s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers."
They are running short on money. Soooooo -- they start the raining of rockets on Israel. Israel responds with some serious answers. hamas and egypt cry and obama sends in the shrew to load their pre/paid cash card...
Hope Israel got a few licks in before the obama/sell/out....
As we know from 9/11 (both of them), the Hamas savagery is not limited to the Israeli conflict, it is aimed at us too. Until the West openly acknowledges that Islam is antithetical to civilized human society and acts accordingly, murder and mayhem will continue.
It is not that they are savages, it is that they have been exposed to civilization, yet they choose savagery.
Judaism and Islam alike (also Christianity) require acts and donations to "charity" yet we describe it as helping anyone in need and the savages describe it as helping convert those in need to Islam and only allow help if it will further Islam.
Every word of Shari´a "law" violates some portion of our Bill of Rights, yet the "mulitculturalists" among us say that their culture is equal to our own, and acquiesce to the savages´ desire to implement their savagery within our country.
It is foolish to argue or negotiate with people who fire machine guns straight up into the air to celebrate anything. Best to just watch the destruction from afar or on TV when the bullets come straight back down.
Hint...that is why they invented helmets and they offer better protection than dirty rags wrapped around your heads. Heathens.
Hard to imagine why we would inject ourselves into conflicts in any Muslim nation. The more they kill each other, the fewer we will ultimately have to deal with. I sse little difference between these animals and their counterparts on the plains of Africa. Their apologists need to be immersed into those areas of conflict and we could effectively "kill two birds with one stone". Sympathy? Empathy? Not one shred.
I would keep all those troops in place and the first time the broke the treaty i would move in like the original plan, these people understand nothing, peace treaty my eye, they are a little above an ape in intelligence and I hate to insult an ape.,..

George Zimmerman, who has not been seen publicly since his acquittal in the murder of Trayvon Martin earlier this month, surfaced last week to rescue an unidentified family trapped in an overturned vehicle on a Florida highway, police said Monday.(Snip)The sheriff´s office said there were four occupants inside -- two parents and two children. There were no reports of injuries. The deputy responding to the crash said that when he arrived, two men -- one of whom was Zimmerman -- had already gotten the family out of the overturned vehicle.
DOWNINGTOWN, Pa.-- Police in Chester County, Pennsylvania are investigating an act of vandalism with racial overtones, possibly connected to the fallout from the verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial. R&B star Akon has suggested that African-Americans living in the US should move back to Africa following George Zimmerman´s acquittal in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin. The Smack That hitmaker, who was born in Senegal, west Africa, took to his Instagram page after the trial (Snip) Posting a screen grab of the live broadcast of the trial he wrote: "Every African-American in the United States needs to move their money, family, knowledge back to Africa were you will be treated like the royalty you are. "You don´t deserve this treatment. This is not your country."
TAMPA, FL - Only three demonstrators showed up at a Justice for Trayvon Martin rally organized by the New Black Panther party near a Tampa courthouse Monday. The representatives with the New Black Panthers told us they scheduled a gathering in front of the George Edgecomb Courthouse on Twiggs Street to bring attention to the broken judicial system and to demand justice for Trayvon Martin. The activists said they felt the trial was about more than a neighborhood watch volunteer and an unarmed teenager. It was a tragic narrative on racial equality under the law, they mentioned.
The Justice Department was running into immediate hurdles Monday in its investigation of possible civil rights violations by George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin -- namely, that after examining the case for more than a year, the evidence has not changed. Though the department announced after Zimmerman´s acquittal that it would consider a possible federal case, previously filed FBI documents show agents have not turned up any accounts that Zimmerman, before the February 2012 shooting, exhibited racial bias. Sanford police detective Chris Serino also told FBI agents last year that he considered Zimmerman
A citywide tactical alert was called off Monday following a day of protests in the wake of the not-guilty verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial.(Snip)About 80 protesters chanting "No justice, no peace" gathered in front of the CNN building on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood shortly after midnight Monday, as police declared an unlawful assembly.
This week, instead of attacking a Hispanic senator, Marco Rubio, I will defend a Hispanic citizen, George Zimmerman, on trial for the murder of Trayvon Martin. (Zimmerman would make a better senator.)It’s becoming painfully obvious why no charges were brought against Zimmerman in this case — until Al Sharpton got involved. All the eyewitness accounts, testimony, ballistics and forensics keep backing up Zimmerman. We should send a big, fat bill for the whole thing to Sharpton, courtesy of MSNBC. With the prosecution’s witnesses making the defense’s case, the inquisitors’ last stand is to claim that, if the races were reversed,
This is another Syrian “who bombed it” mystery. What is not disputed is that a major Syrian arms depot in the town of Latakia in the Alawite region was destroyed (h/t Israel Matzav, also here). The Syrian rebels says Israel destroyed a large weapons depot which stored components of the Russian S300 air defense system, via Israel Hayom: "The Free Syrian Army claimed Monday that the Israel Air Force had destroyed a warehouse holding Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missiles east of the city of Homs in western Syria. The rebels’ claim has not been corroborated by any other independent source.
The complaints swirling around Jacksonville’s chief medical examiner range from poor leadership to unusual practices, such as washing her feet in the autopsy sink and touching cadavers with her bare hands. Valerie Rao’s performance has come under heightened city scrutiny, leading the Mayor’s Office to request a state investigation in March. The state declined, so the city has continued exploring other solutions, including privatization of the Medical Examiner’s Office. Rao’s work in other cities has been criticized for at least a decade.
A prominent Democratic congressman who has been tapped to lead a major federal agency proposed tariff waivers worth millions for a textile company whose lobbying firm donated thousands to his campaign. The revelations could fuel criticism of a program that some say amounts to a back-door means to secure federal earmarks and encourages companies that use imported products to curry favor with key lawmakers. The political action committee of Baltimore-based lobbying firm Venable LLP made a pair of thousand-dollar contributions to the reelection campaign of Rep. Mel Watt (D., N.C.)
White House insiders say President Barack Obama is in “a funk” about what he sees as increasing stagnation and failures surrounding his second term and some worry that the President is becoming more distant and distracted. “He’s not the same Obama that came to the Oval Office after the 2008 elections,” a senior White House aided confided to friends in an email recently. “I’m worried.” Chicago Mayor and former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel tells friends that the Presidency has changed his longtime friend Obama and many of those changes are “not good.”
Citing a potential al Qaeda attack, the State Department on Friday issued a worldwide travel alert and warned American citizens that the terrorist group may be plotting a strike in the Middle East, North Africa or elsewhere. “Current information suggests that al Qaeda and affiliated organizations continue to plan terrorist attacks both in the region and beyond, and that they may focus efforts to conduct attacks in the period between now and the end of August,” reads a portion of the alert, which lasts until the end of the month.
In warning about possible al Qaeda attacks against Americans overseas, U.S. officials may have provided too much detail about intercepted chatter and the source of the information, and that may make it more difficult to get such tips next time, former and current intelligence officials say.On Friday, the U.S. State Department issued a worldwide travel alert for Americans, citing an unspecified al Qaeda threat. The bulletin said that the highest threat levels are the Middle East and North Africa, “and possibly occurring in or emanating from the Arab Peninsula.”
Executive Director of Mayors Against Illegal Guns Mark Glaze gave some ambiguous and potentially dangerous self defense advice Friday on “Hardball.” Glaze, speaking in opposition to “Stand Your Ground” laws, said in a circumstance where someone “comes at you” with an axe handle one should attempt to either “talk,” “fight with your fists,” “run away,” or “deescalate the situation,” but not shoot the attacker: MARK GLAZE: Very often somebody will come at you. They might want to have a fistfight. They might come at you with an ax handle. CHRIS MATTHEWS: Would you consider the guy with the ax handle armed or not?
[Video] Rapper Jay Z appearing on HBO´s "Real Time" with Bill Maher says that the black community wants upward economic mobility rather than a stronger police presence. In a conversation with former Congressman Barney Frank about police tactics such as stop-and-frisk, Jay Z suggests the stagnant economy and wealth inequality could cause widespread social unrest: "The real problem is there´s no middle class, right? So the gap between the have and have-nots is getting wider and wider... It´s gonna be a problem that no amount of police can solve, because once you have that sort of oppression
Washington - President Barack Obama´s top national security advisers met at the White House on Saturday to discuss the potential threat of terrorist attacks that caused Washington and its allies to issue travel warnings and close embassies throughout the Middle East. The United States issued a worldwide travel alert on Friday (Snip) Obama is spending the weekend at the Camp David presidential retreat after playing golf earlier on Saturday. His birthday is Sunday. The White House said Obama had received regular briefings about the potential threat and U.S. preparedness measures all week.
You don´t have to be gay or even Russian to feel the wrath of the Russian government´s homophobia. You could go to jail if you are "pro-gay," whatever that means. And that´s under just one of a growing number of hate-infused bills becoming law at a time when, as it happens, Russia is preparing to host the world in the next Winter Olympics. The perverse anti-gay legislation is inflaming an atmosphere of persistent intimidation and at times deadly violence against Russian gays and lesbians. The question now is: What should the rest of the world do?
An odd dark vertical line that was observed in the sky over Florida earlier this week has left meteorologists puzzled. The shadowy apparition was spotted and photographed by Mike Weight at Honeymoon Island State Park near Dunedin, Florida, Wednesday. Weight was walking on the beach at around 12.30pm. The day was bright and sunny, but there were thunderheads forming to the east. ‘I was looking North when I observed what looked like a ray of dark light coming down from a small cloud to the surface of the Gulf about a half-mile away,’ the 73-year-old man wrote in an email
Goose Creek resident Nancy Mace officially announced her campaign to defeat U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham in the 2014 Republican Party primary. The first woman to graduate from the Citadel, Mace is a well-regarded up-and-comer in Palmetto State politics, counting at least one notable South Carolina Tea Party fave as an ally, state Sen. Tom Davis (R-Beaufort). However, if Mace truly hopes to secure the SCGOP nomination, she will need to answer questions about another comrade, Will Folks of FITSNews. As the former co-owner of FITSNews, Mace presided over the South Carolina political gossip site during its most infamous days;
A dart game that used President Obama´s face for target practice at a county fair in New York state is being dismantled today. Fairgoer Abigail Czapsky submitted photos of the booth at Otsego County Fair to HuffPost yesterday, which show President Obama´s face lined up alongside yellow stars in a dart game. According to Czapsky´s Facebook page, following yesterday´s HuffPost story the booth has now taken down the offensive targets. Czapsky says the Otsego County Fair Board called her to apologize about the booth and explain that it was being taken down. Not one individual on the fair board
Several skills that every kid once learned in school are going the way of the dodo in a hurry. Diagramming sentences is practically an extinct art, for example. Cursive handwriting and memorized multiplication tables look to be swiftly headed that way. Apparently, the next thing that kids will no longer need to learn is spelling and grammar. Sugata Mitra, a professor of educational technology at Newcastle University in northeast England, announced that traditional language rules are out of fashion, reports the Daily Mail. Kids don’t need to waste time on those things, see. State-of-the-art computers and mobile phones can make
Some of the earliest clues scientists had that Earth´s climate has changed over time were mismatches between the fossil record and a current ecosystem. How could this palm tree have grown in Wyoming? Why have fossils of the tropical breadfruit tree been found as far north as Greenland? These cold places must have once been warm and wet. The world is not as it has always been. And somehow, despite the tumult, species adapted, moving thousands of miles to habitats where they could survive. Won´t species today just do the same as temperatures rise in the years ahead?
